I have a 2016 ****** Silverado **** I bought less than two years ago has ******* miles. *** transmission is acting up. I bought an extended warranty and Im trying to find out what my extended warranty is and if its still good and what I need to do and no one will call me back. *** left messages emailed now they wont answer my phone call. I just want to know what my extended warranty is and if it covers my transmission and what I need to do. My husband is stuck in ************ with a *********** cant get anyone to answer. Please see the attached letter below for full details. I need the dealership to expedite quicker the cancellation of the loan, so that I may go to another dealership I trust. I'm now getting the run around from them. They are avoiding & haven't made any contact with me regarding the status of the cancellation/full buy back/flat cancel as they promised. I've been calling them but got no answers thus far. Also, ***** me a full refund of all monies I spent on the vehicle that was illegally sold to me with a bad transmission which was the first issue, no tag came to me in mail as promised was second issue, and no valid emissions never done before the sale of the vehicle to me June 24, 2023 was the third issue. They offered to rerun my credit to put me in another vehicle, but I declined as I no longer trust them to put me in a safe vehicle & the 2016 Tahoe was the only vehicle they had I qualified for, so that would've been pointless. All of this I found out on my own without a lawyer. I need to get a car immediately as now we (kids ages 6 & 9) are back on public transportation waking up @ 3 am to get them to school on time, but coming back to work from home I am late for work every day! Now I am in jeopardy of losing my job because they track our attendance. We just got out of homelessness after 9 ********* refuse to go back to that. The car was the last thing needed to be completely back on my feet. All of this I was fully transparent and told the dealership these facts when I went in to buy the vehicle. This dealership has violated and broken the law on many levels by violating the *** Preservation of Consumer Claims and Defense Clause. I'm not the first customer they've done this to and at this point it's a habitual pattern with them. I printed the ** Title Codes with *** Clause, VIR Report from ** Clean Air Force website as instructed by ************************ showing no valid emissions done, and showed all of this to them on August 28, 2023 in person. They sold me a 2017 **** f150 with a broken suspension, a fender flare missing and the electrical part all messed up. I only realized about the electric part defects 3 days later when it was time to drive it at night. The suspension and the fender flare were noticed and notified right away but they kept telling me that they were going to order the parts and schedule a day for me to bring the truck in so they can get it fixed but THEY NEVER DID. I want to either return the truck and get my money back or get another vehicle or get the truck fixed properly and right.Business Response

To my knowledge ***************** and Steve Rayman Chevrolet agreed to replace/fix the lift on the truck and that would be enough.. When he purchased the vehicle in March none of the current staff including myself where working for Steve Rayman Chevrolet. We started Aug 5 2023.. I am rejecting this response because:
They DID NOT FIX ANYTHING IN THE ****** Not only that but they were racists towards me and I have NEVER agreed that if they fixed the lift I would be satisfied. First of all the problem was not the lift. They want an easy way out because for many times even back in March when I purchased the truck I wanted to return it right away if they did not take care of the issue. I pay almost a thousand dollars of car note every month and I cant even drive my truck on a highway because Im afraid itd break there or even cause an accident or even worse, a fatality. Yes its that bad. I have prints of my conversation with their salesperson (WHO STILL WORKS THERE) and Im sending it right now. I am NOT satisfied and need either a resolution for this, a replacement of the truck or return it and get my money back.

This unit was sold on March 23,2023. The management and owners are not here any longer and I do not know what was said. It's unfortunately been way too long since he bought the vehicle for me to do anything. He did reach out the to salesperson in September, but we are in November now.

I purchased a commercial vehicle 2022 ***** express **** from Steve ******* Chevrolet on February 18th 2023. My purchase included a trade in of a Dodge Ram **** truck year 2019. The Dodge Ram (trade in) is financed though LGE *********. Steve ******* Chevrolet financed the purchase of the commercial vehicle though GM *********. As of today, Steve ******* Chevrolet has still not attempted to pay off my trade in as per our agreement and signed documentation. My store contact and sales rep was ***************** who worked with ************************* the finance manager of Steve ******* Chevrolet. I have had to make several payments to LGE financial for the truck I no longer own. To date, LGE financial has not received any paperwork/payment from Steve ******* Chevrolet for the 2019 Dodge Ram ****. Steve ******* Chevrolet has not attempted to pay off the loan, nor even contact the note holder LGE *********. As a small business owner, I cant afford to have my credit ruined, and therefor am making now both vehicle payments. I have attempted to call Steve ******* Chevrolet numerous times over the last 60+ days, and spoken to the finance Manager **** and sales rep ***** about this issue. I have even appeared in person (March 16th 2023) , gone back to Steve ******* Chevrolet, to find out what the issue is in paying off the 2019 Dodge Ram ****. I was told, by the commercial sales Finance manager *************************, that GM **************** ********* had an address change, and that the address change was causing a delay. However, I am currently now receiving bills from GM financial on the newly purchased 2022 ***** Express. Currently I am making both vehicle payments, yet I have not been in possession of the Dodge Ram since February 18th 2023. I have also emailed the dealerships Commercial Finance Manager *********************** and still no response to my crisis. Traded a vehicle for a new Chevrolet Corvette on 1/30/23. It is now 2 months later, I have an expired temporary tag and can not reach anyone at the dealership to get my Registration and License Plate to me. Most of the calls go unanswered or promises that are never kept.Business Response

On 8/20/21, i got in my car to go somewhere and the check engine light was on. I took it to Auto Zone and Midas to have the code read which said 040 Bank One - Catalytic Converter. I had a new Catalytic Converter put on it 9/4/21. The check engine light went out for a week, but came back on. Later in September I went back to the same shop and they put on a new O2 Sensor. The light continued to stay on, then it started to make a whistling noise every morning when I first cranked it up. After going back and forth to the shop and trying different things (thankfully I was not charged...since it was within the warranty period for the repair). Later on 12/1/21 I got a letter from Chevrolet dated November 2021 stating that if my car (showing my car's VIN#) was making the whistling noise and Check Engine light stayed on that it may have a condition that was causing the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) non-return valve in the intake manifold to fail. I was within 1 mile of the mileage limit on the notice. I had my car towed to Steve Rayman and after sitting there for 6 hours was told that they read the code and it said to replace the Catalytic Converter. I told them I had done that as well as a new O2 Sensor. I have had failed 3 emissions tests (paid 2x). I opened a complaint with Chevrolet and was told that they would reimburse me for $689.19the parts but the repair would be at my expense. I took the paperwork to ***************************** at Steve Rayman today and he said that they would not pay for the Catalytic Converter since the notice says another part and will not pay for the part on the notice because they are not sure it is the problem. I just want and need my car fixed so I can pass an emission test and get my tag. I was pulled over by the *************** Police on 10/3/22 and given a Warning. My birthday was 4/29/22 and I have been riding with an expired tag since then because I have to get back and forth to work and essential places. Please help!!Business Response

We are attaching the ************** Documents which shows the Vin # ***************** and the Special Coverage # A212338390 that the customer is providing the reimbursement request for. As well I have attached the Special Coverage Details page with highlighted that it is for " Intake Manifold Replacement" . The receipts provided with her letter are for emission parts " Oxygen Sensors, Catalytic Converter, a Clamp, and a credit for ***** for a core return. So I was explaining to the customer that she might want to contact back the ** customer line with her case numbers with the information, but I would contact my ** contact person and see what could be done for her. ** informed me that the receipts provided are not affiliated with the part that the Special Coverage covers, we reviewed all of the other Special Coverage on her vehicle and none of them apply to the converter replacement, so I can not submit for a reimbursement for the converter repair.Initial Complaint

We got a recall notice for our **** ***** Malibu. The car has a lot of miles and is old but has been fairly dependable except for the yearly emission issues. Cant really complain about that. We were told to bring it to Steven Rayman Chevrolet for repair. We had an appointment for July 27. They kept the car for an entire week. They refused to answer phone calls about when it would be done. My son had to rent a car and take Uber resulting in over $1000 in charges for the time his car was gone. He was supposed to pick it up August 3 at noon. He had to wait until after 6 pm. When he tried to leave, we noticed some alarming issues with the vehicle. It would not start, would not shift, gear shifter broken, airbag light now illuminated. The dealership was able to get the car started but would not fix any issues. After speaking with ******* in service ***** he assured me this would be taken care of and made another appointment. This time my son stayed the entire day and they did not fix anything on the car. Now, the car will not shift into park. I had a mechanic come look at the vehicle and we located SEVERAL tools left in the car engine bay. A flashlight was lift where the shifter is and several other tools in various locations. They left the car in disarray and as a hazard. They refuse to correct the problems they created when they did the recall work.Business Response

I traded my car in (2019 Dodge Challenger) on July 13, 2022. I also gave the dealership $23,000 to eliminate negative equity debt, and to pay my car off in full. This way, I went into the new car (2022 ZL1 Camaro) with a clean slate.As of August 10, 2022, my trade in still isn't paid off. Now, I have to pay the old car note payment so it doesn't hurt my credit, and pay the new car payment.My suggested resolution:I want my old car paid off no later than Thursday August 11, 2022 or have my $23,000 returned to me, and the dealership pay the additional $23,000 to pay the old car off.Business Response

I took my car to the dealership to find out what issue it had going on. A weeks or so after I dropped my car off I was told my vehicle needed a new transmission, which was an expensive job. I wanted to get a second opinion so I had my car taken to a transmission shop and they did a diagnosis and told me something else could be done to fix my problem and gave a different estimated cost. My car eventually got fixed and I came back to Steve Rayman Chevrolet to ask for a copy of the diagnosis to see how they came to the conclusion that my car needed this expensive job when somewhere else I was given an alternative at a different cost. They said they would email me the report. A week or so went by and I didn't get a report. I went back to the dealer and again asked for a report because I had paid for a diagnosis and wanted to know how they diagnosed my car needed this expensive job. The manager said they would email me the report and again I got no report sent to me.Business Response

We regret that the customer disagreed with our diagnosis of the vehicle, however, we recommend repairs based on what is best for the problem and the condition of the vehicle. In this case a vehicle that is 13 years old and has *******+ miles on it we would not do a transmission repair due to the likelihood of a repeat repair or failure shortly after repairing the vehicle. While it is certainly possible to do a cheaper repair, we would not do that in the best interest of the customer. A new transmission from GM has a 3 year, ******* mile warranty that can be used at any GM dealer anywhere in the country. We cannot issue a refund for the diagnosis.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I was never told any of this information even though I called and left multiple voicemails several times. I had to go up to the dealership in person for any information. After I was told I needed a new transmission I asked for a call from a rep to see if I could sell my car and buy new one, I never got that call. On the multiple times I brought up my complaints I was told I would be emailed a report, to date I have not received anything.
