      This business practices predatory towing. My vehicle was towed from an area unmarked by signs. The nearest sign was about *************************************************** a tow zone. This company only accepts cash. When I asked to speak with someone to help resolve my issue, I was told the manager had left for the day (this was at 4 pm), and that I had absolutely no options to resolve the issue other than paying $280 in cash to get my car back. This business clearly preys on people and extorts them for an obscene amount of money. This company should not be in business.

      While driving my car it stalled on ************** in the center median. I called for road service for a tow truck to tow my car home at 2:45pm. The tow truck got to me at 7:45pm!!!!!!! I've called my ***************** about the problem and I emailed VIP Towing about an email to their general manager and still no responce.

      12/2-12/3 around 12am/1am @ Tow Jams to retrieve car from being towed from Ala Moana parking lot after an event at ************. My friend has been there before just a couple months back and many friends have been parked at the Ala Moana and never been towed and been there til anywhere between 12am and 3am. I guess the signs and towing is a newer situation. I have never parked down there before and we didnt think to look for signs as I said my friend had recently parked there after hours. Anyways, we get there eventually and stand in a long line as many had been towed that night. I was most definitely frustrated. I had called the police to get the towing information as my friend wasnt feeling well so I didnt want to walk around trying to find tow signs, they gave me the tow company number and I called and the woman immediately had a strong attitude with me. I gave her my information and she said they had my car. When we got there I could see it right in the front readily available to take. When we got to the window the woman had more attitude. I was frustrated but I continued to just ask for my stuff and said I didnt appreciate her attitude and she said I had attitude with her because when she told me the price on the phone she had not mentioned it would be cash only. Thankfully there was an atm but I had told her that you would think as much as she handles people all day and gets complaints that maybe she would have the sense to tell people this when they call in for information. Other people were frustrated with her and already called the cops. She started taking her sweet time and clearly holding my things longer than necessary because she wanted to upset me. I called the cops and began yelling at her to just give me my things and go. The cops called me over to talk and I explained to them everything and they had told me that they get calls about the tow company every night and that they got many complaints from this woman. I have more to say.

      Im a tourist visiting the island. We parked in a lot by the Office *** on Moana blvd in an unmarked spot. In front of Office***, there are about 10 spaces against the building. There are two very small placard, one on each side of the door, but states private property and that the area surveillance by VIP towing, but it is private property and **** people shopping at Office*** only. Yes blacks are very small, there are only two listed near the doors, and they are posted only in front of the spots adjacent to the building. We parked out in the lot, away from the building, at least 30 feet from the nearest sign where the sign is not visible. There are no posted signs out in the parking lot indicating that you can not park there. None of the light posts have signs, and there are no signs staked in the ground, yet they still towed our vehicle. Upon arrival, there are about ********************************************* by 2 tow trucks. They were charging us for a tow, though it does not seem they had any right to tow us to begin with, for a full day of being held in their lot, which is literally not a lot, its parked on the road boxed in by tow trucks, and theyre requiring that people can only pay cash. If you can not pay cash, they will hold your car hostage and double the fees each day. On top of all this, we wasted over 3 hours of our day on vacation waiting in line just to retrieve our car, which made us miss our reserved trip for the day. Many things are wrong with this situation, and it is absolutely unacceptable that this tow company is using predatory towing techniques on tourists. This will absolutely negatively impact each and every one of our trips, and leave a sour taste from this Hawaiian vacation, and Im sure will be one of the #1 things people talk about when referencing this trip. All spots they tow for should be clearly marked, they should accept card, and they should be caped on how long they can delay giving you your vehicle.

      This company utilizes unethical predatory towing practices to maximize their profits, one night stored away totaled $205. The driver of the tow truck ignored me whilst towing the car and by law in ******, if the tow truck is on private property and the owner of the car is present then the tow truck must release the car unconditionally. To make the case even worse this was a residents parking with a valid ***********. The company is only responsible for visitor parking after 12 AM.

      This happened yesterday 7/15 Car got towed from my neighborhood complex for overnight parking.(Thats on me)First and for most everyone who works here is a complete ******** and very unprofessional Their website says they take card (but probably no card company wants to deal w sketchy people like them) so I had to drive another 15 minutes to an ATM Paid 270$ for tow and I signed the papers to go get my car back Nothing on their paper says they arent liable for damages or any of that I get home and my car springs are all ****** up so Im like huh thats weird must of been from the tow. Now my car being in drives me I go back to them to show me the form to reimburse me. The lady wouldnt show me the form cause she knows shes screwed. It quickly became a screaming match and instead I left came here to deal w them in a more professional manner Come today I get my car towed from a different company to ****** to get my car fixed The guy looks at whats wrong and hes like hey this is DeFinitely not from a tow gone wrong these parts were taken off your car.So the end of the story They stole parts from my car and are an absolute piece of s*** company If these guys are coming to tow your car. I think its better to just drive w no wheels to your car mechanic then to deal w these guys!
