      NOTHING but ZERO STARS!!! These people are THIEVES!!! RUN as far away from ANYONE who uses them! They will steal from you and claim you never called to cancel for MONTHS!!!

      Transamerica is terrible. My mother died 6 months ago. I have sent Transamerica her death cerificate and trust documents to request payment on her annuity. Despite 4 letters and documentation, and 8 telephone calls (to their India office), I have received nothing but the runaround. Transamerica is completely unresponsive.I will need to sue them to get them to pay her annuity.

      This company has the worst customer service and web site in the world. I have had a small supplemental insurance policy through this company since it was National Home Life Insurance (in the 1970's). Now, every time I go on the web site to pay my bill, They have locked my account due to inactivity. This causes me to have to call them to unlock my account. Then I have to change my password, etc, etc. My premium is due every 6 months as stated on my statement but they say I need to "check in" before the 6 months to keep me from getting locked out. This is the most asinine system I have ever dealt with. Especially from a company this large. And it is really rare that you can get a customer service *** that understands and speaks clear English. They also say that a supervisor will call back but they never do.. Find a better company..

      Never go thru this life insurance company my mom bought a policy 60 years ago for a thousand dollars and it says 3 percent more yearly and they only paid a thousand dollars they used my mom's money for 40 years and made all kinds of money off of it. They are very rude and lie to you

      At this point i must say this company is a scam, i have invested over 10k in my life insurance policy an cannot get a statement on my buy out. Each time i contact customer service they state someone will call me in 24 hours it been over 3 weeks. I tried over and over to speak to a supervisor to escalate my situation and no outcome. They are the worst.

      My mother passed away and had a life insurance policy through Transamerica. They were sent her death certificate over a month ago. They refuse to pay until the funeral home fills out a form of assignment. But I paid the funeral home cash, so they cannot give me this form. i received a letter from the insurance saying a check would soon follow but it hasn't. When I call they are rude, refuse to send me the check and are demanding the funeral home fill out this form. I have a email from the funeral home that I sent them saying they cannot fill out this form as it does not apply. Terrible experience during this difficult time.

      My father died in 2013, I received a check for a matured policy for $685, That being an unusual amount I questioned it and asked to be sent a copy of the original application. I was sent another check $895 that they said included interest. I was told to get a copy of the original policy I needed to send a letter requesting such, which I did, now each time I call there is an excuse for why it was not sent out. And a promise that I would receive it within 7 - 10 business days, they received my request letter on April 6

      Staff are polite on the phone, but inconsistent with their answers. After multiple calls over the last month I have still not had my issue resolved. I have also tried their direct messaging system to no avail. This whole experience has been very disappointing.

      My father passed away in 2016 and had a policy, it 2025 and they have not paid it out! I have contacted them for over year submitting all paperwork and they keep losing it, be mindful they have all our personal information on! Every time I call I get a different story I have been told 3 times it was processed and approved check will be mailed out with in 7 days and when I call to confirm they tell me it was not approved! I have all phone calls recorded

      Do not deal with these people, they lie and scam people , have paid premiums on a policy for years and now they say policy has lapsed. In process of getting an attorney, would have given no stars but was not an option and couldnt move on without selecting a star . So they even make you pick a rating
