I bought a couch 2.5 years ago. Within the first year, the frame split and seat cushions went flat. They promise a lifetime warranty for these issues. I was told that it was not covered under warranty (although the website clearly states lifetime warranty). Then year 2 the fabric started splitting. I spent over 5k on these 2 pieces of furniture. I have once again complained for them to once again tell me nothing is covered and I’m responsible to fix it. A woman named Pam from their complaints department told me that I can buy “cut and sewn” parts to take care of the areas that I’m having issues. I wish I could share pictures and a copy of the email response. I agree with all the other complaints “belongs in the trash!”

The customer mentioned that her store told her the frame was not covered. The frame parts would have been covered, but the labor to install the parts would not have been covered. I offered to send seat cores for the furniture if they were available, but the customer did not want seat cores.

The upholstery has a one year warranty, which is stated in warranty. The furniture was over one year old when the issues started with the upholstery. The warranty for the upholstery was expired. I did tell the customer if her cover was still available that cut and sewn pieces could be sent to repair the upholstery issues, but it would be at cost since the piece has been in her home over one year and the warranty has expired.

I did offer to send parts to this customer if they were available. She did not want the parts.

Please call your store and let them know what is going on. They can send out a tech to see if more parts are needed.

I would recommend reaching out to the store. If seat cores are still available and that is what is causing the issue, parts can be ordered. It could also be the seat spring. It would be best to have a service tech take a look at the furniture so we know what parts would be needed.

The customer mentions she purchased a warranty. If it was an extended warranty, it was purchased from a third party vendor and we would not be affiliated with the company. As long as the parts needed are still available, the retail store should be able to assist with getting the replacement parts ordered.

Purchased a dining set just a little over a year and a half. Metal chair joints are failing and chairs are buckling at corners. These weak jointed chairs cannot be used as they will potentially collapse I contacted Flexsteel and they would not offer any help since it has been over a year.
Also set has been discontinued. Now I have a set that will have to be replaced totally
For the cost of the set, I would not recommend Flexsteel for future purposes.

We have a RV and the 2 recliners and 2 sofa are delaminating, meaning the bonded leather if peeling, not to mention they are supposed to be real leather. We called and they said they no longer do RV furniture (meaning} they made second quality furniture for the RV industry. I need an answer as to what they are going to do about this

I spent $6,000 on a leather recliner sofa and loveseat in 2021. Less than 2 years and the dye is coming off the sofa in blotches all over even where nobody sits. The recliner motor on one side had to be replaced almost immediately. Flexstell does not stand behind their merchandise. By reading the reviews here this furniture is obviously poor quality at high prices. Do not buy this brand....it's garbage. This is the most expensive furniture I've ever purchased and it's the worst.....I wish I had read the reviews first.

Worst chair ever owned. Not structurally safe. The legs of our $1000 chair have broke twice. They have been repaired and broke again. The lifetime warranty this place offers covers the PART ONLY. So I get a $20 leg for free but must pay for the LABOR. Who is winning here. Please don’t buy one! I would love to attach some photos so you could see but it doesn’t give me that option. BTW the chair was used in our family room with very MINIMAL use.

Bought a powered "leather" recliner in 2019 thinking that leather would last. Just my spouse & me, no rough treatment, wild partys or the like. Did not carefully read deceptive warranty. Both armrests are spltting, peeling tearing. Bottom cushion tearing. Foot cushion abrating as reclining mechanism is misaligning. Back rest & head cushion cracking. I have 30 yr old cloth furniture that is flawless. Do not fall for the hype. Sorry, warranty on all but metal oa3rts is 1yr. Run away from this .

Hello,If the customer is having issues with his mechanism he can reach out to his store as they should be able to assist him with parts and service. The upholstery warranty is listed in our warranty and is covered for the first year. After the first year, if parts/cover are still available, the customer can call his store to order cut and sewn parts for repairs. The upholstery warranty is industry standard.

I bought areclinging leather loveseat and matching reclining chair 14 years ago. The chair still looks new and the sofa only has slight faiding from sitting directly in sunlight for all those years. It still functions perfectily and has survived 2 children and 3 dogs. The leather is so soft, yet so durable that the dogs didn't damage it with their nails. It was definitely worth the price. I cannot recommend this brand highly enough. It is beautiful, high-quality, and stands the test of time. AND made in the USA!!!!!

We purchased our Flex Steel furniture a year ago - 2 couches and 2 rocker recliners. Right after the furniture was delivered a mechanism needed replaced in both couches and one of the rocker recliners. I was told they were defective so it was nothing we did to cause the issue. It is now a year later and the same rocker recliner has stopped working (it has a power mechanism) and my husband checked to be sure everything was plugged in and found greasy ball bearings and sprockets on the floor under the chair. Our chair is still under the manufacturers 1 yr warranty so I was told it would not go against our additional 5 year warranty. I asked about the lifetime warranty I was told Flex Steel had upon purchase, and told there is no lifetime warranty on anything.not even the mechanisms which was the reason we purchased this furniture. We do not have small children so no one is horsing around or playing on the furniture. We also dont have a lot of company so our furniture does not get a lot of use but is breaking down faster than what I expected. So far I am not happy with this continued breakage and would advise anyone looking into Flex Steel products to do their homework first so you can make a wise decision. Our furniture was not cheap and wont even be paid off until next October 2023. I am wondering if we made a bad purchase based on our continued issues with the mechanisms. The supposedly heavy duty flex steel is not what we expected.
