Tim K I ordered windows July 5th 2023 it is now December 30th 2023 they still are not in. Most incompetent company i have ever worked with. Salesman measured wrong the backup measurer measured wrong. Windows were too big for the opening. Came and got everything they sent and finely the windows came in December but i'm not sure everything is here. Pella has got their money that is all they care about. Pella tells me the installers will have everything they need but where are the installers. They missed two weeks of really nice weather. Now when I call the number they told me to call and leave a message no one calls back. this company sucks.

2018 purchased expensive double entry doors. 2020 insulation between the doors came off and was repaired under warranty. 2023 insulation (2" piece of glued on plastic) came off again. Now service warranty expired and they say it will take up to 20 days to get the part, service charge in effect or they will mail it to me for a $10 charge. The door without insulation is junk and the insulation they use is cheap garbage. The idea they would charge me money to mail me the part is outrageous and I highly advise that you avoid Pella at all costs. FYI, the serviceman that repasted the original 2" plastic insulating piece had it with him. I told them where to go and got a substitute at the hardware store. Be smart, avoid this company's products.

As an owner of two construction companies I would recommend another brand of window. After the purchase of close to 1000 Pella windows over several years and installing them in my personal home I would not use them again. The windows seem to be decent quality, however the company will not stand behind their product. I've had a leak issue for quite some time. Long story short, after determining the leak is coming from the window (not installation, flashing or siding issue) I phoned Pella. I was told there is a $195 charge for their service tech to verify (since I was out of labor warranty). I explained that I was certain it was the window. Again I was told a service tech was necessary. I paid the $195. The first tech came inspected and said a shipping block was never removed and that was the issue. The shipping block was removed. At the next major rain event the window leaked so badly, it dripped from the second floor to the finished basement ruining the kitchen drywall ceiling and the adjoining wall. Called Pella again, was told another service tech needed to visit. After the tech telling me to caulk it and see if it still leaks, I forcefully explained that my siding contractor water tested the window and identified the location. The tech reinspected and found a crack in the window frame. Pella agreed to supply a new window under warranty. I called to get my $195 back since it was a warranty issue, but was told no. This is the cost for the visit. This is extremely poor customer service and any potential customers should know what to expect once the labor warranty expires.

Nope. Just nope. Don't do it. We are taking them to court. They have had 4 months to "remedy" the mistakes that they made and they continue to make more mistakes. Not my problem. I just wanted new windows.

I signed the contract in June and they started the job in September. They damage all the trim. Here it is now November and I have no date set as to when they will repair the damage and install the screen that was included with the purchase order. I keep emailing and calling and I can get the job done nor a date when it will be done

I spent over $20,000 having Pella install new sliding doors and windows in my family room. I like the look of the doors, but they are very heavy to slide. I wasnt very thrilled that one came with a warped sash and wouldnt lock right after the install. They had to return 3 weeks later to replace it and of course someone had to be there on a work day. At about the same time, I spent another $5,500 having Pella install a new front door on my in-laws house. The salesman who came to take the measurements was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He even told me that if I ever had a problem and customer service was slow to respond, call him directly. When the installers showed up, they realized that the door was way too small for the opening and had to shim the h*** out of it. Then they had to add filler pieces outside to cover the gaps where the siding meets up. I just dealt with it because thats what they had to work with. About a year later, the door needed some adjustment because it was rubbing against the jamb on top. I mustve called customer service 4 times. Each time they said within a couple of days someone from the shop would return my call. I never heard from anyone. I then called the salesman at least twice leaving at least one message. He never responded either. This year, my in-laws called again for the same reason, plus now the finish is fading after only three years. They were told that there was nothing Pella could do for them because the door is now out of warranty. Yet they still have no problem filling my mailbox with advertisements every month. How in the world can they expect to get my business again, let alone a referral? They are a joke of a company as far as Im concerned

The worst experience I had for 12 months of working on my house was Pella. HORRIBLE. I wish I'd looked at these reviews first. They took 6 months to start the job. They then started the job promising that the new windows would match the old windows. THEY DID NOT MATCH. Then one set of workers came and started the job AND LEFT EARLY for a "guys weekend in the *****". It too me two more weeks to get someone to return. And to get someone to return, it took me researching Sherlock ****** style the email configuration of Pella. I contacted everyone in the executive board. Only then did someone show up to fix the ***** IN MY WALLS. Do not use Pella. They are HORRIBLE. This was in the AlbanyNY district area for Pella. Terrible. Awful and my windows do not look right in my house. For PREMIUM PRICES. They should

I would NOT recommend Pella window and doors. Their customer service is terrible. Talked to the operations manager to file a complaint for service on new windows and asked for someone at a higher level to discuss my issue/issues. ********** Refused to allow a customer a contact to let someone above operations know the issues we have with the service/employees and the windows. Worse company I have ever dealt with. I am sorry I ever contracted with them.

I just spoke to ****** on the phone. I did not need windows, doors or anything complicated-- i simply needed a PAINT PEN to touch up a tiny blemish on my Pella door. She was short and talked to me like I was 5 years old. "I nEeD tHe SeRial nUmber." Thanks for your help ******! You were great! Rudest customer service person I have ever dealt with-- find a different industry.
