If you read nothing else, please remember the name ******************* at Pella Windows. This is the person you want to work with if you are in the *** and you need window replacements and related contracting work done. ****Getting work or repairs done on your home is always a massive undertaking. The reality is mistakes are going to happen that are outside of everyones control. Whats important to me is whether the company I am working with did everything to make the experience as perfect for me as a customer, even when things go sideways. That is what I loved about working with the Pella team, and if you are thinking about replacing your windows (and any surrounding surfaces of your home), you should seriously consider them. My neighbor and I reached out to Pella for a quote to replace the windows on both our homes, as well as all of the wood trim and siding (which was close to 20 years old at this point) with PVC and HardiePlank. Pella agreed to handle the entire project to ensure we had one single POC that we could work with, start to finish. While we experienced delays due to supply chain issues and permitting requirements, Pella kept us informed every step of the way, and provided discounts when the delay could have been prevented on their end. They had multiple team members come on site, take measurements, provide viz into how long the project would take once boots were on the ground, and ensured that the project would be above board for all relevant stakeholders (HOA, **************************** etc.). The project ended up being flawless. If we had to go back and do it all over again, I would do it with no hesitation with ***** and his team in our corner. I cant reiterate enough how appreciative I am of all the work ***** and the rest of the Pella team did. If you are in the market for a project like this, or simply replacing your windows, do yourself a favor and send ***** an email.

Pella Windows and doors is the worst company that doesnt care about their customers needs or at least that is my experience with them. They dont have any knowledge about who does what. I contacted them for some repairs on my windows at my building and after collecting the service fees of $175. They never fallowed up with me for my windows replacement. Every time I call I get sent to a new person who doesnt know nothing about my account. I will not be contacting them for any of their services nor recommended the company.

We put Pella window in our **** farmhouse. We thought we had made a wise choice. Unfortunately the Proline series we bought have upper sashes that rot away. Last April they quit making replacements and did not let their customers know. The whole window has to be replaced. Dirty way to do business! I wouldn't trust them if this is the way they run their business!

I WOULD NOT recommend buying from Pella. Worst customer service and company that I have ever dealt with. I bought $43K in windows and a patio door. My fiberglass double hung windows have excessive air flow issues and some of the windows make whistling sounds that keep me up at night. It's been 9 months now since they were installed and Pella to date refuses to replace the double hung windows. They also now have cut off any verbal communications and said all communications have to be in writing due to legal concerns.

Worse customer service from this company! Very expensive windows that we had done in January 2023. We had a huge thunderstorm and came home to discover that it was raining in our house last Thursday. We have reached out to Pella and have not heard a word since. Don’t buy any Pella products for your house unless you like rain flowing inside your house. Next step contacting the BBB to file a complaint

I am reviewing Pella Windows & Doors of CT and NY. My order took over 1 year and 5 months to complete, with a comedy of errors along the way. Mistake on window counts on the original order, resulting in an approximate $10,000 increase to the order cost. There were extensive delays for the windows to be shipped (not the Pella installer's fault). Installer did not call before arrival for the delivery of the windows (as promised). Installer ignored my instructions for the window staging location in my garage (could have been avoided, had I known they were at my house, delivering windows). At the first installation appointment, the installer was unaware that window shipment was short several windows, so another installation date had to be scheduled. The window grilles could not be completed at that install visit, so another date was scheduled. On the next install date, they realized some of the grilles were broker and had to be reordered. On the next install date, they missed installing one of the grilles. On the next install date, a small part for the final grill was missing. On the next install date, they didn't show-up. The credits applied along the way for this unbelievable series of errors was inadequate, especially considering the inordinate amount of my wasted time (six separate install dates) . The windows are nice, but the installation experience was appallingly poor.

My expensive Pella back door was installed yesterday with a faulty lock. The lock initially appeared to work, but after a couple of uses it no longer functioned. The installation was completed at 3 PM on July 21, 2023 and I realized the lock didn’t work at 6:30 PM July 21, 2023. I contacted Pella immediately because I live in an urban area, I’m a single woman, and I was left with a door that wouldn’t lock! I expected a prompt, professional response to my emergency situation, yet I did not get help. They told me that service representatives couldn’t help until after 10 AM the next day. I was left in a scary situation last night as a consequence. Additionally, the front screen door that they installed at the same time was also put in without some of the finishing trim. I paid over $9000 for these two doors, and have been left with nothing but headaches. Pella still hasn’t contacted me to help. I feel unsafe in my home, because I am unable to lock and secure my rear door. They have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I have used the company and its products in the past with success, but clearly they are no longer the company they used to be. I wish that I had read some of these reviews before purchasing the doors.

I have been dealing with installation issues with Pella for OVER a year. $30,000 worth of windows and doors. Installers used blades to remove adhesive from my metal window frames outside. Damage and missing parts, a bathroom exterior door won’t close properly, coming apart. My $5000 front door came broken 2 times. Month went by and I quote” we dropped the ball” and forgot to order a new sidelight, is what manager told me. Still missing parts on windows. Calls and calls later , months and months go by waiting in service department. This has been by far the worse experience and waste of money dealing with this company. I purchased from Jacksonville,FL store. My front door is still not done. And they want to charge me installation fees for unfinished work.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I’ve written corporate a few times weeks ago, still no reply.

I have a Pella sliding screen door and the trolley system for the door to slide needs to be replaced. Talked to Pella support and have been told the parts have been discontinued. I am now left with a door that does not function properly and Pella doesn’t have a solution and doesn’t seem to care that customers are left without any solution. It seems that Pella needs to be held accountable to their customers.

I had about 50 Pella windows installed as part of a renovation of my house 9 years ago. I recently opened one of the windows for the first time and discovered that the window would not close completely or lock due to misalignment of the locking mechanism. It is clearly either and installation error or a window defect, the end result being that once the window is opened, you cannot close it unless you push from the outside. I contacted Pella customer service who referred me to an out of town service provider. After about 6 weeks of phone tag and back and forth emails, the service provider wanted $175 to come out plus the cost of repairing the window which would likely require replacing the window at my expense. What a joke! A defective window and Pella disclaims any responsibility. On their website they state "our warranties are designed to give you peace of mind that if something goes wrong, we'll be there" but that appears to be not true.
