1 starWhat a disgrace, disgusting experience in just a few days with this ridiculous company and it's ridiculous product. The product can't even work for a couple days, over and over. This is no way whatsoever this is how this should work. I can't even use this product. Who is allowing this place to remain in business?? The complaints and claims found all over the internet are true, absolutely ridiculous.Review fromDebra B

1 starDeceptive missleading-do not advise customer they are only looking at requirements per county; which is not cause case specific. Tell customer that equipment not required even if different to court documents. Which leads to equipment not meeting court requirements, thus company charging twice. If disputing this via their recorded conversation customer loses because per vendor customers responsibility to state court requirements and even if you had done so, vendor will not reimburse for duplicate chargesReview fromgabrielle r

1 starThis company is the worst company of all time. They will rob you of your money and time. This has literally been a nightmare. I was originally supposed to get my breathalyzer off February 1, 2024. My breathalyzer that was installed, was faulty and kept giving me lockout and talk and attempted to extend my breathalyzer for an additional three years due to their equipment being faulty. I am trying to get this removed from my vehicle. I went to the court hearing the courts found the evidence provided in eligible for extension. They robbed me up so much money. And yet I cant even get a hold of anyone to help me with this issue.Review fromAj W

1 starI had problems from the beginning. The service center I went to was great but the sales person got all my information wrong and the wrong device was ordered due to that, but *********************** was able to take care of alot of the issues since I couldn't ever get anyone at intoxalock on the phone. A month or less in I started having problems with the blow device, I ended up stranded in the middle of nowhere in the ***** at night while I was out of state visiting relatives. The device locked my car down because it was broken inside where you blow. I waited 5 Hours for Triple A, had it towed to my relatives. Then had to have it towed back to the service center in nc. Triple A only covered 100 miles and I had to pay out of pocket for it to be towed the rest of the distance after that. I sent everything they requested for reimbursement. I received an email stating that they would be in touch within 3 days or so. Ect ect, it's been over 4 months now and I have not heard anything back. I can't get anyone on the phone, have been on hold an hour to longer and I give up and call later, same issue. So I call late at night and I can get a person on the phone but most of all the different departments are not available to speak with and you still have to try during the day to speak to the department you need. I could go on and on. I have already scheduled an appointment with another company to have a different device installed. I've seen too many reviews where when people have completed the time to have the device removed, and they cannot get intoxalock to get them the proper paperwork and they are still having to pay for the device for months because intoxalock won't comply. I don't Want to be 1 of those people so I'm just getting rid of intoxalock period. I have to call my state dmv to get permission to have it removed and another device installed the same day. I do not recommend this company. Their ratings reviews are terrible all over the place.Review fromEthan D

1 starThey steal money, their contract is BS, and they charge you for everything about the faulty equipment they send you and then hold you accountable for their s***** equipment, or charge you for things behind your control like weather. I've literally been told that due to this questionable and barely legal contracts that we sign, even if it's not our fault we are still punished for the faulty equipment. They are literally STEALING MONEYReview fromMagdalena G

1 starTerrible company to deal with. They use old refurbished equipment that will malfunction and cause Tempering Violations that will be reported to the State, even though its their fault and not yours. They will lie, and additionally charge you for everything when it is their fault. The device will drain your battery, and you will be responsible for everything, all the while paying for everything, as you jump through all the hoops trying to rectify the situation. No one will help and no one will care. You will need addition thousands of dollars, and months if not additional years of your time to deal with them. If you dont believe my experience is credible, go look at Intoxalock reviews on the Better Business Bureaus website, and check out everyones experiences with this company and their device on Reddit. There you will find more than enough information to satisfy your curiosity of what can and will go wrong while you have this device on your car. There is also a Lawsuit filed by ********************* against Consumer Safety Technologies aka Intoxalock. You will be stressed out and on the verge of going insane, and you will be told that this is the process, so **** it up. Most of this process is a grift and everyone knows it, yet, everyone goes along with it. This company should be banned in all the States, and a large class action lawsuit should be brought against them. I repeat, this is a terrible company with terrible engineering. If you are required to have such a device on your car, go with Smart Start or any other company. I wish I did. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.Review fromBrandi D

1 starI was ?? percent misrepresented, basically lied to so I would use this service. I had already picked out an interlock service ****** install including 1st month, when intoxolock called me. I asked why should I use this service: 1. We only calibrate every 3 months which is normal and can do with any other company 2. Told me my time would start as soon as my device was installed NOT TRUE 3. Told me it would take 2-4 hours the guy that installed said never is that true I was there 8 hours.4. Told me payments are made 2x a month to help customers.5. I paid the ***** to start never did he tell me that I would still owe ***** ( they charge a fee to use them as well as a monthly.6. I pay them ***** a month and an additional ***** when calibration which he told me ***** to ***** Told me there was a minimum state charge of ***** NOT TRUE. I called 3 companies ***** to ***** The device is like 100 years old. Its huge wires all of the place and a camera huge, and a big block in my windshield.I have never ever seen anything like this, devices are small quick to test and a very small camera. This is the biggest misrepresentation I have ever seen!!!! I WOULD GO TO ANY WHERE BUT HERE. Once you have signed up you cant talk to anyone I had to pretend to be a new user for them to call me back and I have been on hold for 45 minutes. The *** needs to know this!!!! As well as anyone else I can warn!!!!! The installer was furious as to all the misrepresentations were in my email. I showed him. They also promised to give me a ****** back towards my install see if thats true??????? I have to have his service for the next year I am so disappointed and upset. The things you have to blow into wont even stay in the machine. I had to fumble around to find it before I could blow. Absolutely insane!!!!Review fromJoshua W

1 starBy far worst company ever, for anything. Let's start with just trying to contact someone, good luck. When you do, the staff are extremely rude, not helpful in any way, and could care less about your issues, concerns, or questions. Next let's talk about the quality of the equipment. In the year I have had the device, I have had to have the "unit" replaced 6 times. Why, wouldn't start the vehicle, lock me out, and cost me 2 batteries in vehicles less than 5 years old, my car was brand new. I have been charged twice for violations I never committed. When I have attempted to reach out to the company, I have been on hold for up to 45 minutes, only to be disconnected and had to start over again. The chat feature on their website is terrible. I enter the details requested and get told I have contacted them outside business hours. The last time I got this message was on a Friday at **** hours Mountain time, that's during business hours. While writing this, I have been on hold for almost an hour and a half waiting to get this device removed, and another violation fee taken off my account. This violation was for the crime of blowing into the device, and when told to start the vehicle, nothing, the device would not allow my vehicle to start. I tried several times to start the vehicle before the device stated I disconnected it, and I was in a lockout. I was stuck out of town for over an hour, outside business hours, and could not contact anybody. Guess what, the car after an hour magically started, and I could get home. The very next day it happened again, and again it was Sunday so I could not contact anybody, this time luckily I was in my home town, and got a ride home. And a few hours later when I returned to get some stuff out of my vehicle, it started. I am still charged 75 dollars for a "violation". I paid for my crime, and I continue to get charged fees, c*** service if any at all. Take everyone's device STAY AWAY.Review fromMichael G
