      If i could do it from the beginning i would have chose a different company! I had a deeply disappointing experience with Intoxalock that i feel compelled to share. Despite diligently reporting the maintenance of my vehicle the company's morals and values unjustly resulted in a major violation.I followed every procedure meticulously ensuring that my car received regular maintenance and the the interlock device was functioning correctly. However, to my dismay i received a notification of a major violation that left me frustrated and betrayed.Not only did this violation tarnish my record, but it also cast doubt on the reliability and fairness of Intoxalock and its systems. Its disheartening to realize that despite my best efforts to comply with the requirements, i was still penalized unjustly because of their lack of reliability. I got my Alternator fixed on my car, reported it to the company like it said to do and i got a major violation because of them not caring about the customer and following their rules they put in place. I called Intoxalock and they refused to give me the report of me telling them the battery would be disconnected for maintenance. I urge others to exercise caution when choosing an interlock company and consider the potential consequences of relying on Intoxalock.

      Stay far away from this corrupt company as they will charge extra for things you didn't need or denied, give false answers about battery drainage through customer service hotline, won't transfer you to a supervisor when calling sometimes, cause your car not to start and ruin your car battery. USE ANY OTHER COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO AVOID CORRUPTION.

      Consumer Safety Technology will nickel and dime you. They keep putting my account into a lockout in which I have to pay $75 to reset it. This is an addition to the 60-day $40 calibrations and the $110 monthly fee. Why isnt anything being done about this? They have a lot of complaints. They first stated I didnt need the device anymore which was incorrect, and I notified the ** Secretary of State. Then they applied a credit on my account and never explained why. Now they are nickel and diming me, to eat up a credit that they applied and never explained to me. What a lousy company! Ugh

      I signed a lease with this company for 6 months cause I was told they were the cheapest to go with all in all the lease total was around 600 dollars but by the time my 6 months was up they had charged me over ***** dollars. I had to go get it the recalibrate the device weekly. Me and the technician asked several times for new equipment they denied it then my engine blew up in my truck on November 22 I called that afternoon to have it removed and never got a response so I done 2 requests on the app and it took 3 more weeks after my last request for the to send to **** out to the tech. Now they are trying to charge me for the 4 months it took them to come and remove it. I called and spoke with one of the account managers and she told me I had to pay cause I had it in my possession, I told her I called to have it removed and sent 2 requests and she tells me that didn't matter u should have called. Not to mention I used my mom's credit card for the installation and I told them this card was a 1 time only use cause I hadn't been working, and they put her card on auto pay anyway so there are records of how many times I had to recalibrate the device cause on top of the 20 dollars to the tech for having to recalibrate the device they charged her card an extra 80 for every recalibration. This is the 3rd time I have had an interlock device in my vehicle and I have never had a problem in the past with lifesaver but intoxalock is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with as a customer even the customer service was rude and didn't listen always cutting me off while I was trying to explain that the bill they sent me today was not on me I did what I was suppose to do and called Nov 22,2023 to have it removed and had to send in 2 more requests before they finally sent the **** to the tech for removal 4 months later

      I wish you could give 0 stars. As with all the other reviews on here & every other site this company is a *************** who had this installed should contact their state representative. I did & was told to have it removed since the only response I got from intoxalock was they needed a letter from my state but they never sent in the installation paperwork so my state had no proof it was installed. "STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY"

      As everyone before has said...this company does NOTHING BUT LIE TO GET YOU TO SIGN A LEASE.....keep in mind, the lease does NOT explain the terms, and so you are trusting the representative that is quoting you.... (since it is something required by the state and DVM, you think they are actually an HONEST COMPANY and very REGULATED BY YOUR STATE). They quoted the ONE time installation fee and ONE sign on surcharge fee, along with the calibration. IN REALITY....you end up paying the ONE time surcharge fee... BUT BIWEEKLY surcharge fee....FOR THE EXTENT OF THE CONTRACT. Oh! Then you can see the terms on the lease once it is signed, and you realize these people are ****** you for over $170 a month in biweekly charges. I have to have it on for TWO years, for something that occurred TEN YEARS AGO. I don't even drink alcohol, been sober for years, and since have had a child. Now I get to drive around with faulty equipment...YES...FAULTY EQUIPMENT is all true too. My device had to be REPLACED AFTER TWO MONTHS. Keep in mind, it was time for my calibration, they had NO DEVICE IN STOCK, so I was unable to drive my car for OVER 2 DAYS. I work in the medical field all day, they did not offer compensation, a rental car, NOTHING. If someone can get someone to start a class action lawsuit, I am in. I am still locked into this ******** for over a year and a half. It is FRAUD. And NO, YOU CANNOT REACH ANYONE TO COMPLAIN TO. I called, was told they would listen to the phone call when I was told my terms, and someone would get back to me in ten business days. I called after hearing NOTHING, got transferred over ten times after REPEATEDLY asking to speak to a manager. Everyone seemed to get a kick out of the whole thing, and transferred me to another idiot. The KICKER (ha! not done yet)....THREE OF THOSE PEOPLE CONGRATULATED ME, and told me my license appears to be active...'When would you like to schedule your removal?' If I wasn't on top of my ****, I would've had to start over!

      Worst company ever the box was blinking on and off called numerous times all they ever said is to disconnect the negative wire from the battery that never work tried to get a work order never put the order in messed up my starter and alternator haven't had my car in a month had it towed 7 time to and from the service center still nothing called to have it removed they want 500 dollars to remove it also my box kept giving me failing test.

      If I could give this company negative stars I would. This company Intoxalock is sloppy, and unprofessional. They have caused so many problems I really dont even know where to start. There are other companies out there that can do this Intoxalock is NOT THE ONLY ONE. Dont waste your time because all that will happen is you will have your life turned completely upside down if you get INTIXALOCK installed and when you sign that lease you are signifying your rights over. This by far is one of the biggest mistake of my life. They will take your money annd leave you stranded . Yes you read that correctly they are going to take your money and leave you stranded. So since I have lots of time to spread the word on how disgusting Intoxalock is than thats what Ill do.

      Just had my Intoxalock device calibrated on march 15th, since then it has locked me out twice. Now it says I have to take it to get serviced for another $75. This thing is a money pit. They have entire control over your vehicle and your ability to make money. Would not recommend their product to anyone.

      The day the device was supposed to be installed, they were a no show / no call. I finally had this device installed this past weekend and it was broke the next day. We are getting warnings about wire issues and it shows the car will be disabled in 7 days. I now have 3 calls into Intoxalock and cannot seem to get this problem addressed or get service on the device. Luckily I have not signed the contract so looking to get this POS taken out as soon as possible. Not a happy customer!
