1 starI had a new HVAC system installed in July 2022 from Right Now. This summer, I noticed how hot it was in my house, so I called them to come figure out what was wrong. I was told it was a broken piece in my coil, which was also replaced in July 2022. I paid $260 to have it fixed, and I was told everything else was functioning perfectly. I specifically asked about the coolant level and was told it was fine. The next day, I noticed that my house was still 86 degrees inside. I called again, and they were able to send another tech out four days later. When this tech arrived, my coolant level was nearly zero. With the new coolant, the house was cool for a few days, then warmed up again. Despite having a warranty with Right Now, I called a different company to come to assess the situation. I was told the **** was installed incorrectly, which was why I had so many problems. This company fixed it, and now I have no issues. I have contacted Right Now about compensation, and they will never have anyone contact me again. Very disappointing.Review fromgary s

1 starIf I could give 0 stars I would. Got a new system 08/2021. For the last 2 1/2 yrs we thought the new system was good until we noticed an issue and went under to see and my home is currently damaged where the furnace is at. Customer ********************** is non-existent. The tech that was sent wanted to place blame on us and the care we have towards the system. Anytime we repeated back it was a "Language Barrier" or taking his wording and turning it around. **** stating the thing we did or didn't do voided this warranty and I asked to see it on his tablet and he refused and stated to call the office to have it emailed which I did and a lot of the things the Tech stated are not listed on the form that was signed when purchasing the new furnace. Between the back & forth with this tech as he also continued to say his mgr/ the owner is local over and over, I stated I wanted a callback from both. I have yet to hear from his mgr/the owner. I spoke to a lady named ******* and she couldn't answer some of the questions we had and was supposed to call me back on 07/08 and still waiting. I have sent an email, still waiting. ******* also claimed that due to not allowing the tech to clear our coils, they wanted $270 for something that we have done it voided the warranty and then she said well, let me ask and call you back. I have these calls recorded and now cannot get anyone to call me back. This has been a nightmare after paying $13k for new systems. The moral of the story is to keep all paperwork from them and if it is something they say, make sure they write it down on that form or it is not valid. Currently Filing a claim through my home insurance & let them fight it out and hope for the best outcome as we have had to purchase new AC window units to stop the underneath of my home from further damage. **Also- Avoid them if you can and research other companies before coming to them**Customer ********************** -0 Techs- 0 Accountability- 0Review fromAndrew S

1 starOn April 14, 2024 we had a new Furnace and Air Conditioning unit installed by Right Now Heating and Air. On Saturday June 22, 2024 we hit 100 Degrees for the first time and my Air Conditioning unit would turn on and shut off several times. I shut the unit off resulting in the home warming into the upper 80's and called, (their web site says 24 hours a day 7 days a week) it would ring once then hang up, I tried this several times in the 5:00PM hour. I waited and finally got ahold of someone in the 7:00pm hour. The lady that I spoke with was short and made me feel like I was not important. She told me that she would have someone call me, then hung up on me. I finally received a call at 10:50PM, she left a message saying that she would have someone call me on Sunday 6/23/24 to schedule an appointment. NO such call was ever made. On 6/24/24 I called again and scheduled an appointment. While I was in a business meeting Right Now Heating and Air called to confirm the appointment, and because I didnt answer my phone within 10 minuits she cancelled my appointment. I then had to call back on 6/25/24 and schedule another appointment. Finally a technician was dispatched only to find out that they had overcharged the system. The point of this is that I paid $8900.00 for a new working system and within 2 months it had already broke down. I would NOT recommend Right Now Heating and Air for anything. 1 starI recently had a technician come out to "diagnose" our a/c unit not working. We were charged an $89 service fee to come out. We were told the problem was a dead fuse in the box, so okay no problem right! Apparently to replace the fuse with the "service charge" was $266.00. Just an fyi the fuse costs $27 at **********. I will not ever call these crooks again or ever do business with them. Most companies dont charge to diagnose the problem. I definitely was taken advantage of and you will be too.Review fromJennifer W

I bought a brand-new HVAC system last July; it has already broken down. When you call it's "no one is available to talk with you, will leave a message" And no one calls you back. I believe they are selling used equipment as new. My "new" thermostat wasn't working. I was told to push the buttons harder. When I made a tech come out, he pulled it off the wall and said, "this isn't new it was previously installed". I paid what was a lot of money for me to get the peace of mind from having a new system I wouldn't have to worry about. I have asked for paperwork regarding my equipment such as a detailed receipt and warranty information. I was given a state that said parts and labor this $$ and no other information. I am extremely angry with this company and would not recommend to anyone to use them.Right Now Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, LLC

****************** - We're sorry to see that you're upset, but your claims of installing used equipment is unequivocally false. When equipment is installed, it is registered with the manufacturer; that's how your warranties are activated. Once a piece of equipment is registered, it cannot be registered under another person's name. Not only would installing used equipment be against our morals, but its also impossible to registered used equipment. This alone proves beyond a doubt that your equipment is brand new.
We are a bit confused about your claims regarding the thermostat, as our records indicate that the homeowner was not present during that appointment. Regardless though, our technician found that your thermostat had a faulty button, and it was of course replaced for no charge. Here are our technicians notes from that visit: Found tstat with faulty mode button. Replaced tstat with non-programmable tstat and ensured all modes working correctly. Could not contact homeowner over phone as no one was answering.
Regarding your equipment "breaking down": from the factory your system had a service valve that was slightly loose causing a small amount of refrigerant to escape. The service valve is not a component to the system, it's simply a valve that's used to charge the system with refrigerant. The valve has been addressed and your refrigerant has been recharged. We certainly apologize for any inconvenience this issue caused but would like to assure you that it had nothing to do with our installation; it's simply a small error from the manufacturer that will have no further consequences for the systems performance.
We certainly apologize that youve not received your warranty information after requesting it; that doesnt sound like us, and we cannot apologize enough for not getting the requested information over to you promptly. Our admin team will get that information together immediately and mail to address on file.
We do hope this response has alleviated your concerns, but if not, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Success Manager, *****, at *******************************************.Review fromShelley B

1 starWe have had nothing but problems. From the time they put new system in. Right out of gate there were problems with system. They don't back their work. When you schedule to have them come out it takes weeks to get them here. They are constantly rescheduling. Not just small rescheduling. Had appt today. They of course had to reschedule a week and a half out. Not enough space here to tell it all. Never never use this company.Review fromConnie H

1 starPlease folks take it from me never use this company they are total scammers. They came out and did an airconditioner check and told me my water heater was leaking and the coils in my air conditioner were worn out. Tried to scam me out of over ******* dollars. I had a second opinion and they told me there was nothing wrong with my system. It has been working fine. *****************************Review fromKraig B

Three days ago, I hired Right Now Heating and Air for an HVAC tune-up. Despite my AC working fine last year, the technician informed me that the compressor was failing this year. He attempted to demonstrate the system's improper startup and unusual noises. Immediately, I was advised to replace the unit and received a quote on the same day. Fortunately, seeking a second opinion proved beneficial, as another company quickly identified that the wires in the condenser control box were incorrectly swapped within five seconds of inspection. After rectifying the wiring, my AC resumed normal operation without any issues. It's disheartening to encounter such negligence and dishonest people within this company, and I caution others to steer clear of their services.Right Now Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, LLC

1 starWon't allow minus Star rating option. If you want an unprofessional, rude, & disreputable organization, then Right Now ******************************************* is the company for you. My now 91 yr. and hard of hearing mother with limited income called after seeing their ad in the local paper to have her home furnace checked, and the tech (who makes commissions on sales) talked her into a $8,200 sale. The tech sold her a (unnecessary) new water heater along with furnace on special financing. And the nightmare begins. May 2022 Installation of furnace and ***************** water heater. Nov 2022 no hot water as pilot light out & wouldnt start. Tech returned 4 days later to replace burner assembly. Jan 2023 no hot water, tech replaced gas valve& burner assembly. Nov 2023 no hot water as pilot went out. Nov 2023 no hot water etc. Jan 2024 no hot water. Feb 2024 no hot water. March 2024 no hot water. This is Friday before Easter Sunday. The scheduling **** want $79 + credit card on file before sending a tech. My mother asked to have the water heater replaced due to the ongoing issues. Right Now unequivocally said no. Instead, per the assistant manager, the solution from master technician & senior management is to install a flue extension" on the roof at no charge. When asked if this will solve the problem, the reply was we hope so. I contact the *** for my mom & is waiting for Right Now to send ****************** of device for *** to review.
