My Libre 2 meter would not read my sensor. We contacted Abbott ***************** The rep had us go through several steps. They then asked us for the Firmware Information and the serial number. The rep then told us that based on the information we provided, that the sensor was to old to be used and that it would need to be replaced. We ordered another meter. When it arrived, we were shocked to see it was the exact same Firmware and model as the exact one that was not working. We have contacted Abbott several times since then and have documented every rep we have spoken with, and have been told that we would receive a call from their company. After numerous inquiries to the company we have yet to receive any information or a refund for the purchase of a meter we didn't even need. We've been given different answers including that it was probably a sensor issue, not the meter. This rep couldn't understand why we were told the meter was not the correct Firmware. We also asked for the transcript of the initial call that we were told was recorded. This is the worst customer service we've ever experienced.

Since May 10, 2023, the product never worked with my phone and they kept sending new sensors. I told them it was my iphone 12 and had them returned. I saved the tracking numbers and it showed they were received on their end in *******, ** on May 19, 2023. Ever since that day, I received messages, emails, phone calls they didn't receive the product. Everyone was so scripted when I tried calling back to rectify the situation. They would put me on hold. Then call me and ask for tracking numbers again and again. Spoke to alleged supervisors. Nothing. Case manager is now handling this I will transfer you now New case numbers each time, which was strange. I asked how often they lose packages and she didn't have an answer for me. I also told her this is really bad for the Abbott brand. Reached out via messenger again on 10/1/2023 to show them it was delivered on 5/19/2023.10/3/2023 Someone called and said there was no tracking number and I sent a screenshot of the packages showing delivery on 5/19/2023.I called 5:13 p.m. Someone was surprised this case has been since May as he was reviewing my case. It shows you received the package on 5/10/2023. I don't have access to info for the refund. Hold, please. Transferred They called and you didn't answer and we need the tracking number. AGAIN I provided it again for the 8th time and told him I emailed a screenshot of it being delivered to *******, ** on 5/19/2023.I checked the tracking numbers and I checked them. After processing it has to be approved. As of Oct 3, 2023 It is a 6-8 week period You're gonna have to wait. First needs to be Approved by **************** Second needs to be Approved by Finance 2-3 weeks. Tracking numbers will go with the paperwork now. [Oh now it will?]Reason not approved: Used by a Pet Purchased Out of country Receipt missing Expired product Insurance So I should get my refund, right? I cannot imagine being someone who is elderly and suffering from diabetes.

Abbott customer service could not be worse. I have had multiple sensor failures of the freestyle libre 2. Long chat waits have lead to someone named ********************** me, we will try to fit you in for a phone call. So I called the 800 number hoping for a better response. After about 40 minutes of answering questions, I was told to dispose of the defective sensor and that a replacement was on its way. Two weeks later I reached out and was told that no sensor replacement had been sent. Anyone reading this should in my opinion, consider another CGM from a company that values its customers and stands behind its products

Wish I didn't have to give 1 star to send a complaint. I wear the Libre 2 and have had nothing but problems, most of the sensors fall apart after they stick you ( it took 4 one time to get one to work) another time one fell apart and then the 2nd one gave high readings where I should have been dead - had to go back to the finger stick. I reported the last 2 failures and went thru the long question sheet with the foreign rep (good luck if you can understand them) was told they were sending the 2 replacements and a pick up box for defective 2. Within a week the defective box arrived and was sent back next day. 4 weeks later no replacements yet, I call again and was told ***** said they delivered the box I said yes the box to return the defective 2 but no replacements. I give up - this product is defective, there are 2 class action lawsuits against them for these 2 reasons and yet they promise you they'll make it right BUT THEY DON'T.

I've been using the Libre 2 sensor for about 2 years, since I began using these sensors, these are my complains:each time I replace the sensor I pray that the reading doesn't show an error immediately after placement because of the many times I had ***** up with faulty ones. If it's not an error because of a abvious glitch, its because it literally melts off the arm the minute the temperature becomes muggy. Lets face it, diabetics sweat when the sugar rises. Also not only for sweat, the sensor should have better adhesion to the skin and be less bulky without an edge so it can avoid being knocked off against doors, walls, bras, or purse straps. Yes we can be clumsy sometimes

Ordered their freestyle libre 3. Product doesn't work neither does their app for it and they don't even provide a reader of their own like they did with the libre 2. Wow. Just wow! Don't understand why anybody would go and buy a product like this from a company that obviously doesn't care about the quality of their products or you. I'm done with anything Abbott- period!

Not at all impressed. Was given a sample to try in October 2022. It was so easy being a teacher and not being able to leave the room so the time to check sugars. Continued to get sensors. $79.00 Co pay for two at a time. Starting in February if 2023, they would randomly fall off, quit before time was up, then in May 2023., After getting a replacement that they sent via *** and tried to charge me for. After 3 days, it alarmed 54... Numerous comparisons with finder sticks later..a full 24 HOURS at 54, I removed it. I called customer service, 3 times till ,I got someone who spoke English clearly enough too understand. Only to bed time that Abbott only allows one replacement per year per customer. WHat?? Then said person went into say, "if you don't agree with the product don't use." By now...I'm angry. I have not replaced the sensor since. I have gone back to finger poked. Safety is best. During this time, I left a question on there Freestyle Libre 2 page on FB, so many others with the same problem. This product/company needs to get investigated for faulty and fraudulent actions. Consumers need to be compensated.

I let the first incident go because I considered it a "fluke" with the reader. The reader indicated that my special needs sister ( who is non verbal and can't tell us if she "FEELS" anything,) glucose was 61. I pricked her finger and it as 124!. Fast forward a few weeks, and I couldn't get the sensors to work ( I went thru two of them). Finally got a sensor that worked. I was getting her ready for bed and checked her it was 96. ( Too low for me to put her to bed because she has medication on board that will lower it, so I decided to give her snack and check it again. It was at 74. which made NO sense because she just ate! So, I decide to ***** her finger, she was 343!!! I went online to try and contact them from the site, that didn't work but I did pull up her reports. She has crashed THREE times between midnight and 6 am with NO ALARM! Their customer service team was awesome about replacing the sensors, but now I am out money because I have NO faith in this piece of equipment and will not use it . They should be ashamed of themselves for keeping this on the market !

on the libre ans 160 on my meter. Very disappointing. COSTS TOO MUCH TO
BE OFF THAT MUCH. I thought i had found a great tool. apparently not.

More crap med tech to fleece the patient / insurance company. The sensors last 24 hours before they fail (at nearly $40 each) instead of the 2 weeks as stated.
