      $1300 to replace an outside spigot and sweat two copper joints...45 minutes to complete....was quoted for 10 hours.Every plumber I talked to said it's a $150 job tops.When confronted about the price difference, the only thing they could say is that "you signed for it". Immoral, unethical, shady, and unacceptable business practice.These guys are the WORST!My Attorney feels this is a class-action lawsuit with merit.Let everyone you know to stay away from these criminals!

      This company takes advantage of seniors I am 69 and my husband is 76. We needed Rodding done they advertise ***** when they get to your home they charge an extra ****** for the city fee. They did there rodding with the wrong equipment lasted 2 weeks I called them and the respesonist said there was no charge when they showed they wanted to charge ****** then the man stated can charge ******. The man stated that was per his manager he refused to give us his name and phone#. Called the company back and got the run around with the receptionist ask to speak to who is over her no one there and can not give phone#. This company needs to be ashamed of there taking advantage

      This organization is a complete scam. As with many other reviews, I had a need to clear clogged pipes and therefore was too lazy to read the reviews before I called **** I was willing to spend extra money for their servcie and professionalism but that's where it all fell apart. After completing the work I was told I could get a discount by "becoming a member". Well why wouldn't you do that.....it's free. So after joining i get repeated calls for them to come out to clean and maintain my furnace (which is running fine). Well sure enough, they "find" issues and cannot complete even the basic service because their book shows them a problem. Well, I don't trust everyone so checked with another HVAC company and was told there is no issue, that's just their way of selling new business. What a joke. By the way, asked them for a quote for a new water heater, quote was more than double what it actually cost installed. No explanation of how this is possible. Great service does not entitle you to rip people off. I can't imagine what this company does to people who are not at least a little familiar with how things work. AVOID AVOID AVOID

      ABC Plumbing Sewer Heating Cooling Electric installed our new furnace, and I had them do some other electrical work. The guys were all professional, it was done right. My complaint is the "maintenance" program they offer. For so much money a month they will include on-going inspection of your plumbing, heating, and electrical throughout the years as long as you pay and that contract is in force. They say in an emergency you will get preferential treatment. Thankfully we haven't needed the emergency service. We pay EXTRA every month because our furnace has an electronic air filter, which in all ******* I agree costs more than your standard hardware store filter, I have no complaint there. However, twice now they have scheduled us and twice canceled us for our electrical inspection wasting our time! Not only did they string us along all day the first time they scheduled our electrical inspection, they call us at the end of the day 4:00 PM to tell us they needed to reschedule. I had to take a vacation day from work. We rescheduled and asked for the FIRST appointment for a Sunday morning between 8-9 AM. At 8:00 am that Sunday morning they called and said it would be later. They called again at 11:07 AM to reschedule and the call quality was terrible very garbled you could barely understand the caller. On the first cancelation they sent us a gift card to spend on services with the company. *********! What do we do with that? We don't need any work done presently. After the second reschedule went south I told them I wanted 2Mos. maintenance payment credit since they didn't keep up their end. In so many words they said no. Guess I'll have to contact my credit card company. If these problems are because of a lack of employees I get it. It's like that all over right now. But then don't offer that service charging the customer a monthly fee, then constantly reschedule and string them along.

      *** saved the day when I had a faulty heat exchange. They replaced it with my parts warranty (not even their unit) and did the rest at a VERY reasonable price. My family is now safe and warm.They don't get the credit they deserve because they are priced higher than your local contractor.I will use them in the future for all my needs.

      This company takes advantage of senior citizens. I am 84 and my husband is 91. We have used *** over the past few years for plumbing work and noticed an increase in prices and "this needs to be done" type of sales pitch. The final straw for us was when our basement ejector pump went out on a Friday and the basement started getting water in it . We called *** and they came promptly but told us we needed a permit from the city of Park Ridge for this work. It is inside work and we only needed the pump to be replaced. That was an extra $100. They replaced the pump with a decent pump but just for this work and the permit we were charged $4100! Everyone we have spoken to since said the job should not have been more than $1500 even for a last minute weekend job. The Park Ridge building inspector for permits could not understand why he was at our home and told us the same thing about ***. They may do decent work but they are a RIP OFF. And to take advance of people our age is simply disgraceful. I will not be using them again and I hope other people, not just seniors, stay away from this company.

      This company charged me $1085 for replacing the water valves for my washing machine. They are price gougers and charged me more than double what the job should have cost. They took advantage of my time limits and lack of knowledge of the situation. I later spoke with two different plumbers and both quotes were $450 and under. After further research, I've learned that they have swindled many others out of hundreds of dollars due to time constraints and lack of knowledge. I called them because I thought they were a reputable company in my area. I wish I would have checked BBB first, as I see that they have many one star reviews. I wouldn't have given them a single star but that was my only option. I also learned from a past employee that this "family owned" company is worth more than 100 million dollars and spends copious amounts on advertising but they do not care about the complaints they receive. I've also learned that they have cheated numerous seniors by overcharging. DO NOT use this company.

      The day before thanksgiving November 2022 *** Plumbing came out as I had a broken water heater. The initial two techs checked under all my sinks bathrooms and kitchen and worked up a $13,000 quote . I almost fell over, I did not need the faucets or pipes they recommended fixed in other rooms I called for a water heater. I was able to get the invoice down to $8,799.00. I felt desperate as I was hosting thanksgiving the next day. They did have to change two valves and as well in the basement. I have been outraged ever since as I feel I got taken advantage of. I have had reputable plumbers look at this bill and a contractor who said they are outraged I was ripped off . They said this job should had been around $3,000. I called to get a fair price and I was told they could offer me $200 senior rate rebate. That was an insult to me. I did elevate to another lady who offered $500 off. I did not accept. I want a fair price . Their prices are outrageous and not fair. I will elevate this as far as I can go. I will never use them again and nor will the contractor or plumbers I know. Im so disappointed and upset over this bill.

      If you call **** consider it NOT done. I have been a member for years, now a former member. The 1st and only time I needed an emergency call for service they dropped the ball. Tech called and said rates for this service would be $150 (membership status did not matter). If they needed any parts it would be $500 to open the part room. I agreed as I needed service. We were suppose to be on the schedule. In the afternoon, I called to get an ETA. We were not on the schedule and they hung up on. I did speak to customer service two days later (Melody). She agreed they dropped the ball and would she find out how this occurred and how to prevent this from happening in the future. She told me that she would give me a call the next day. She never called back.From this feedback, they will issue the standard apology and say to email or call the customer service number did that a few times and NO response.

      A few months ago, this company installed a furnace for my elderly parents. My dad requested to have the same size unit he currently had installed. Instead, the company installed a smaller one. We are now smack in the middle of winter with below 0 temperatures. The new unit only releases cold air and it runs all day long. The house has not reached the required temprature and here are my elderly parents wrapped in blankets, with a brand new unit. My siblings and I have attempted multiple times to get service out to them at no avail. All we get is, someone is going to call you back. Its been days and no one has called or reported to my parents home to fix the problem they created. Our heating company came out and confirmed they have indeed installed a smaller unit. We want this issue resolved. We want the unit my parents requested from the very beginning. So much for Satisfaction Guaranteed. If they need to hear it WE ARE NOT AT ALL SATISFIED.. We will be escalating this issue further. We definitely do not recommend this company. They only take advantage of the elderly. I would give the negative stars if I could.

      Forgot to mention. My parents always host our Christmas dinner and due to this issue our parent had more than a depressing Christmas. This company should not he in business if they can't stand behind their own product. They should have made us a priority considering that they were the ones that installed the unit merely months ago.
