1 star2015 Matrix job:: Walls cracked every 3 years. They patched, sanded and re-painted twice since then. I called in May 2024 for yet another "patch" job. This time they admitted those walls did not hold up and promised a "new" wall product. It took until November. New walls were installed over the old ones. (They refused to repair a wall that had a water leak from a broken faucet above the ceiling in the garage) even though that wall also cracked years before the faucet broke.This time they did not paint. I told them I would paint if they bought the paint. They said I needed 6 gallons but they only bought two. All the electrical outlets were left recessed due to the new walls, and they refused to take care of this. I now need to hire an electrician. The workers were great - did excellent work. Management lies, even sent **** the Builder to tell me my roof was leaking and my foundation was bad in order to try and void my entire warranty. Phone calls were NOT answered. People fired and demoted, owner *** also ignores phone calls. My original warranty promised "waterproof walls" and a 50-year warranty. I will hire another company to finish the work, then file a lawsuit for the cost of not finishing the job.WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND MATRIX BASEMENT FINISHING.Review fromEric S

Project was on-time and very well communicated via their app. All of the tradesmen were highly skilled and did tremendous work. Job site(basement) was always very clean after the days work. We knew we needed the extra space. So after meeting with a few companies for estimates, which really didnt WOW us. We started looking outside the box. We came across Matrix via internet . Brought them in for a consultation May 2024, we were *****. We received the complete breakdown of price, materials what I wanted. Timeline from start to finish, materials dropped and start date July 2024. Job complete September 2024 on time. Communication is key for me, and Matrix kept that line open from start to finish. Thank you Matrix for bringing a great team to us for our needs WE LOVE OUR BASEMENT!!!!Highly recommendMatrix Basement Finishing

The representative was incredibly helpful, offering creative design ideas that we instantly fell in love with. We were so impressed that we signed a contract that same day. The production process was smooth and enjoyable, with excellent communication and updates every Monday. We were very pleased with the final product and the entire experience.
