      We noticed our Shred-it box was broken. I called to them to replace the console and a few weeks later they informed me they came before business hours and could not enter. After that, I called repeatedly to reschedule. In the course of almost a full year, they could not fulfill this simple request despite frequent (at times multiple times a week) calls in which they supposedly scheduled the console replacement. They claimed they could not connect me with the local dispatch for confidentiality reasons and would put me on hold to speak to the local branch. Whenever they did come for a scheduled pick up of our documents, the actual Shred-it employees told me they had no idea they were supposed to be replacing our broken box and did not have a replacement with them. They would tell me to call customer service to request a console replacement, which obviously Id been doing regularly. This company is unable to respond to their clients needs and lacks the ability to communicate from corporate customer service to local dispatch. I cannot think of another company I've interacted with that was this inept.Finally, when I told them wed had enough and they were cancelling service, they connected me to a different department, and I spoke to someone who claimed they could see no record of the numerous customer service reference numbers Id accumulated. She cancelled our service and said someone would retrieve their console. About a week later, a Shred-it employee came to our site under the assumption we needed a regular pick up told him wed cancelled service and that he was supposed to be picking up their box, but he told me he did not have the ability to do so that day and instead emptied our nearly empty Shred-it box. The next day someone finally did come to collect their still broken box. Now they are charging us $200+ for these two "services." Do not use Shred-it or Stericycle.

      We had a good experience with Shred-It until they were acquired by Stericycle. They are an absolute mess. They split our accounts into two and then only sent ** invoices for one of the two accounts. We paid the ones we received but then got sent to collections for bills we never even knew existed. **************** was abominable. Dropped calls, no visibility on accounts, inept reps who promised but never delivered. Finally, we managed to settle up with them and now they're claiming we're contracted with them for years--yet they flaunt ****** laws regarding auto renewals. Am getting our corporate attorney involved. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They are the worst. Choose a local company instead.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MEDICAL WASTE!!! This company is the absolute worst!! They over charge you, even for months that you had zero pick **** I have been trying to cancel with them for 2 months and the customer service people ALL tell you that you have to speak to the next person and the next person. When I signed up with them it was easy breezy. But after that OMG. ZERO GUIDANCE ON ANYTHING. CONFUSING MISINFORMATION. AND BLAME ALL ON THE CUSTOMER. Now I am in collections that I have been trying to get cleared up since SEPTEMBER 2022 because I refuse to pay for crappy service that I didn't even receive and especially since I had been trying to CANCEL for so long! And NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON has been able to help me??? I get the "you have to wait for P****** to call you back". Guess what?? He never does. SHOCKER. Terrible company, even their employees agree (one of them told me that the company is a mess and has no support or coordination for the employees). Do yourself and your business a favor and DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH STERICYCLE.

      I would give them negative stars if I could. I have paid for services for the past 9 months and have received ONE pickup for my sharps containers. I truly feel like Im being pranked, its the worst customer service I have ever received. I pay them to do one job and it has been done once, they have missed the last two pick *** but continue to bill me monthly for services not rendered. Please look elsewhere.

      Since Stericycle purchased shred-it the company has gone to complete sh*t. Not only is the billing department a complete mess the scheduling department was even worse, they miss-billed my account on numerous occasions and then proceeded to have a different employee call me for a year straight to try to collet the fraudulent charges. Please do *************** business a favor and do not hire this company for shredding services, hire a local family owned one instead.

      I would prefer not to give ANY stars. They show we are delinquent even after I have showed them the cashed checks 11 times in three months. NO ONE ever follows up or responds.

      We have been a customer of ********************** for many years. We were happy customers until last summer when they stopped applying our payments to our account. Our checks were deposited to Sericycle's account, but they did not credit us with the payment. I have attempted to resolve this with their Customer ******************** for many months. No one seems to care. There is no response to my emails and when I call they agree to follow up but never do. One person I talked to in the Customer ******************** said I am one of 1,000s of customers with misapplied payments due to data being lost when they changed to a new accounting system. I even contacted our account manager who apologized for the circles we've gone in but told us he could not help us. Now they are threatening us for being delinquent and when I respond they ignore us. What is going on in this company? They currently have some serious customer service issues. Please get our account sorted out!

      NO STARS NO STARS NO STARS Stericycle, *** is a horrible company and I would never recommend them to any medical office to use. We signed a contract for them to come to our office and collect our medical waste on a quarterly bases and we set up an auto draft to pay our account. They drafted the first payment and set up the first pick up. They never came. I called to find out what was going on and they said there was a truck issue and they will set up another pick up time. This continued 2 more times, all while they are charging us and not showing up. I would call and verify they were coming on the day they were supposed to just for them not to show up. This started in May and by July we were done and canceled our account. I was told that $111.30 we be sent in a form of a check which in 45 days. It is now October and still nothing. I have reached out to ************************* who canceled our account for us and told us we would get a refund. Now every time I call or email ************************* about the check we still have not received I am told he will look into it and get back to me. I just don't know what to do any more to get this money refunded. They don't show up for services! Charge clients for services they didn't complete! AWFUL, DISHONEST COMPANY WITH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.Account Care Representative |

      This is a sorry excuse for a global company and they have owed me money 7 months now for mileage reimbursement. Management, payroll, and HR have ignored my questions and only answer when they want to. I have firm documentation stating that I should be paid for a certain amount of vacation that I had accrued. But yet no one can explain why the system is paying out 10 hrs less than said documentation states. They need to be shut down judging by the comments/reviews on this page. I must say that I concur 100%!
