I also was tricked in a 5 year contract and they want to charge me half of the remaining 5 years to cancel which is a couple thousand! The lady who signed me up did not go over the contract and of course it was in the fine print. I told her Im a very small business just starting out with limited funds and yet she did not tell me the contract details OR offer me a minimal plan even though I expressed my concerns. If she had told me I would have to pay for half the remainder of the 5 years, I would not have signed up. Even worse, they have not picked up once or provided any containers, they rarely respond to emails and are very tricky with the billing when you change to the minimal plan. Ive literally paid hundreds for absolutely no services provided, with horrible customer service, confusing payments (who bills the first and last of a month)? Definitely will be telling anyone that is planning on signing up with them to ask about the contract details before signing, and to use another company if possible. Any professional should go over the FIVE YEAR contract instead of making it seem like it was month to month. This company has no sympathy for small businesses and is here only for the money. Ive never been so disappointed in a company. Shame on them!Stericycle, Inc.

By far the worst company I have ever had to use as a vendor, consecutively pulled money from our account five days in a row then blamed it on a technical after the fourth day of me calling them. They are a nightmare and should be shut down. Worst customer experience, everything is third party so no one has information that connects.Stericycle, Inc.

This is the worst company to deal with. We have struggled with getting our shredded materials picked up. They bill consistently without picking up. Every few months, there is a different account manager. They acknowledge that they are not picking up because our business hours are not convenient for them, but they still bill monthly anyways. We have received bills from many different addresses. Different account managers promised to credit the days for not picking up, but none have followed through. I made appeals, but just today I received word that the credit on the account has been rejected. We have been a customer for many years, and the service was adequate and reasonable. In the past year or so, it has been essentially nonexistent, and the cost has increased with add-on charges such as surcharges that did not exist in the past. I now worry about just how reliable they are in handling materials with sensitive information. I'm looking for another provider. From the Customer Review Rating, I'm not the only dissatisfied customer.Stericycle, Inc.

Small business owner review here *****, cheaters, unethical, horrible customer service. LIED TO US about a month to month contract that ends up being a 5 YEAR CONTRACT in the fine print. Charging us over **** dollars to cancel. Completely unethical company. How is it even possible to be in business and have 1 star with over 48 ratings? Oh yeah, they steal from people. That's how. What a mess of a company, Absolutely awful customer service. We have been battling an invoice from October 2022 and after providing lengthy documentation were just told "credit request rejected". Additionally, we have been sent fraudulent collection letters. We will be seeking termination of our contract.Stericycle, Inc.

I have to agree with the reviews under me. The business I work for get ignored from there customer service. We are constantly trying to call them, and no one answers half the time. We are currently under contract with them and charging US BUT NOT PICKING UP! They are not following through with their end of a contract. I've also been on hold for two hours trying to get answers. Everyone I have got in contact with tells me different things. This business is a mess and it makes me wonder how their business is behind close doors.Stericycle, Inc.

BE CAREFUL with this company.I am a business owner in ********* ********, Ive used this company (Stricycle) for over three years, I would say within the previous year this company has gone WAY downhill. Although I am charged monthly I have gone Six months without any medical waste pickup. Around 9/?/2022 my company needed a pick up and after I called Stericycle to ask why I havent seen them, I was simply told that o had a balance of $40 and that is why, without notifying me or anything, then I was told to sign a new document via email so I could get a pick up with my updated payment information- today I just found out that document was a FIVE YEAR contract, and they will charge me over $1,000 to cancel it.This company is a Hustle. They do not offer notifications of pick **** you are charged MONTHLY and there isnt a thing you can do about it. Just today when I asked why I havent seen them (AGAIN) within six Months although Im charged monthly, I was simply told we had operational issues on our end and that was it.This company is stressful, you will not quickly get a human being on the phone , and worst of all they are a Hustle.Stericycle, Inc.

I have had an account with Stericycle for many years. Recently they added my name to a different account. That account is going to collections. I have spent hours on the phone to try and solve this issue. Each time the account rep tells me it has been taken care of. I have proof of payment from cancelled checks and the reference # given to me each time by the rep. NOTHING WAS DONE. A few weeks after my call, I will receive another collections letter. I'm tired. My true account has a positive balance (they owe me). I will be happy to amend this review if I ever have a true response from Stericycle. Can't wait to get the same canned response that everyone else who has left a review receives.Stericycle, Inc.

********* gave me a quote of $205 for my removal. I verified that amount with the representative. When they invoiced me they added a $59 surcharge and 3 different taxes, making the final cost $287.. I asked for transparency, I got, essentially, a lie.QBJStericycle, Inc.
