This company is criminal! They basically bill you for services not even performed and you are not allowed to even cancel your service. When I called in, I told the representative my needs which she said they could accommodate. It was my fault for trusting her and not re-reading the contract because what we discussed was most certainly not the contract that she drew up and had me sign which I did blindly. When I called to tell them the contract was not what I had asked for they pretty much told me too bad...you get what we give you. We are a nonprofit cat rescue, what a shame that they would take advantage of someone like that. CROOKS! At this point, I have been calling in since MAY of 2024 to cancel my account, you cannot be connected to the elusive "cancellation department" nor is their a phone number or any other way to reach them. You have to leave a message requesting to cancel your contract and someone will get back to you...of course they never call. After multiple times calling and emailing customer service, I finally received a call today, it is Sept 30...UNBELIEVABLE. This woman says she only got the message on Sept 4th. Still, how does someone call to cancel on the 4th and it takes the company until the 30th to respond...and then you have to give "60 day notice to cancel" which now puts us in November. This is comical. I called to cancel in May and my request will not be honored until November. How is this even legal? The best part is that Collections had managed to call me every 2 weeks since May to ask me when I will pay the bill, but the mysterious cancellation department is so backed up (according to the representative) that it took them not weeks, but 4 months to return my call. This is after my request was "escalated" 3 times. Since we signed a contract in May of 2023 we had 1 pickup. ONE. and we have paid almost $500 and they are billing us $1,000+ more for one pickup. I joined Stericycle on 9/1/2024 and was told I would have quarterly services at roughly $188 a pick up. I was then sent a bill for September and October on 9/15 for an annual Subscription for **** and pick up. My sales Rep **** ********* never once mentioned to me I would be paying for a monthly subscription. To make matters worse out first pickup was missed I had to call 5 days in a row and spend hours on the phone each day to try to see when the pickup would be rescheduled and all I got was the run around. Finally on the 5th day of calling I said I would like to cancel my services and miraculously my pickup was immediately rescheduled. I still asked to cancel my services as I believe there was a breach of contract for the missed pickup, terrible customer service, and for the sales *** misleading me and selling me a subscription product. I was then redirected to a retention specialist **** **** who was very unhelpful and told me that to cancel I would have to pay the entire year since I signed a contract and kept giving me a scripted response that she was obviously taught to provide. I asked her multiple times what the company considered a breach of contract, but she refused to provide me with examples and instead told me I was in the wrong since I signed the MISLEADING contract. I am now stuck in a contract with them even though I tried to cancel after being a customer for less that 3 weeks and provided ample examples of the negligence the company did but they refused to take any responsibility. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using them as they outsource anyway to local companies to do their pickups. My suggestion is just to ****** a local company and use them.Stericycle, Inc.

They have been awful to deal with. I recieved a quote for $200 and change, when the employee showed up he was disgruntled, grabbed the stuff and left. They I recieved a bill for 2 full bags of recycling that it was not. It has my signature on it, but the employee didn't tell me he updated the order, he just said sign here. I thought I was signing that he picked it up, not a change order. Then I recieved an already charged invoice of $508. I reached out to my customer service *** 3 times and he said he would look into it and nothing. I called the 1800 number, they were also terrible. Now all I am left with is this bad review and stuck paying an extra $300Stericycle, Inc.

Stericycle is a scam of a company. They have billed my husband and have sent to collections for a service that was "performed" a year after my husband's death and office closed. They should be investigated! They did not perform any service for my husband's office. I have contacted them several times with this info but yet they still harass us by sending bills and collection notices. This is causing much distress and heartache. I will be filing complaints with the following: *************************** *********************, ************************, and the *************************** This must be stopped! I would leave a 0 star rating but that option is not given.Stericycle, Inc.

THEY ARE TERRIBLE ITS BEEN 8 MONTHS NOW I CANCELLED THEM. THEY SHOW U EVERY MONTH WE TURN THEM AWAY AND THEY SEND A BILL, THEY SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS, AND N ONE CAN HELP YOU WHEN YOU CALL. THEY WILL TELL YOU A CASE IS CREATED AND NO ONE FOLOWS UP. WHEN SOMEONE DOES STILL NOTHING CHANGES. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE THEY ARE AWFULStericycle, Inc.

We left our previous medical waste disposal service because they would not show up for months and when repeatedly called (calls go to call center), they would schedule a pickup and still not show up (but continued to charge for services not rendered). We decided to go with Stericycle. When setting up our account, the gentleman repeatedly agreed the issues with the past company were something they would not repeat. Now here we are. Stericycle has not picked up on the dates they were scheduled. All calls to find out what happened go to a call center. *********** says they cannot get ahold of anyone. Send "resolved tickets" when nothing is resolved. Try to reschedule pickup for days we are closed. Cannot get anyone from this country to call back to try to determine what the issue with pickup is and try to find solutions. They have continued to charge for services that they are not providing. This company could care less about their customer's satisfaction, meeting the details of their contract (they are always in breach of their own contract), nor do they listen to try to fix any problems that they have created for their customers. I have phoned this company several times over the past year and they have yet to follow through with what they say they will. I never get calls back from supervisors and I have requested that our contract be cancelled SEVERAL times due to them being non-compliant, quoting directly from their contract of how they are in breach, only to be ignored. They refuse to let you speak to a supervisor stating that they will call you back - no they won't - they never do. They cannot get the *** schedule figured out or their website fixed after an update. This is just another greedy corporation with zero customer service or problem resolution to the problems that they create for their customers. They don't provide supplies as contracted (like bringing bags and boxes for the next pick up) and when they ship sharps containers they ALWAYS come broken because there is no protection added to boxes to prevent damage during shipping. There have been times we have had to call more than once to get the broken items replaced. Don't bother responding with your generic message to call or email someone - JUST CANCEL MY CONTRACT! Maybe it's time to contact our lawyer and get them involved. As you can tell, it doesn't make a difference when I do call to get a problem resolved. You simply don't care! It's very obvious you are scamming people at this point! Consumers: Stay far away from this company!Stericycle, Inc.

0 stars! I haven't even had a pick up yet and I owe 250$ so far, for NOTHING! Their customer service is terrible and I've been calling and emailing for weeks without resolution. I want my account cancelled and no one is processing this request. Still waiting to hear from someone. Extremely unhappy.Stericycle, Inc.

I'm dissatisfied with the handling of my account, specifically concerning the poor communication and the inability to speak with a representative to cancel my account services. This situation has culminated in my account being sent to collections services despite my months of requests to terminate the account. I started the cancellation of our account on February 29, 2024. The customer service representatives either stated that I would be contacted or we must send an email with the cancellation infomation. I have done everything requested to still receive monthly invoices and now collections. No one from Stercicyle has reached out to us to help resolve the issue. The collection was entirely unjust, considering that my request to terminate the account was made well within the necessary time frame and should have been processed as such.Stericycle, Inc.

If I could give this place a ZERO, I would. I have been trying to cancel my account since January. I sent them a certified letter cancelling the account and they never responded. They refuse to call or email me back and now I have received a collection letter. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLEStericycle, Inc.
