I have been trying to buy Aldi brand fat free lactose free milk for several weeks. The store manager was nice but told me that the delivery that just came in today did not have the fat free but the full fat lactose free and the 2 per cent lactose free milk all that came in. She said she was going to check to see what happened. I spoke to *** at their corporate office and learned that the fat free lactose milk Aldi brand is unavailable and they don't know when it will be or why it's unavailable but it will be back in stores but when nobody knows. The store manager and *** were pleasant but the corporate office screwed up something with the packaging or some other problem developed and now I can't find any lactose free milk anywhere.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because nobody knows why the Friendly Farms Fat Free Lactose Free Milk has been unavailable for several months not even the district manager. I got another call and the person was pleasant and will contact me when and if she finds out why this milk has been unavailable for so long or if this milk will be unavailable from now on but meanwhile I have to shop elsewhere to get my Lactose Free Fat Free milk at a far away store on the bus with a shopping cart. How can nobody at Aldi's corporate office know why this milk is unavailable in Aldi stores when the 2 percent and the full fat Friendly Farms milk has been loaded down in Aldi's refrigerators every day? This is no way to run a business. It's too bad because Aldi has other products that are excellent but hard to find and sometimes unavailable for weeks also. I repeat the store manager is baffled by this too.

On 3/27/23 I went to Aldi store #**, ***************************************************************** around 1:40 PM. I had a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as 6 packs of chicken and 2 whole chickens. When I went to check out the cashier was very rude and she was in such a hurry that she incorrectly scanned 2 packs of potatoes. She was throwing my items into the buggy without any care. She threw a package of blueberries in that busted open and spilt blueberries all over my groceries and all into the floor. She did not apologize or offer to get me a new pack. She looked at me like it was my fault it had happened and I had to ask her to take it off my receipt. She also placed a 20 pound bag of birdseed on the bottom of my buggy haphazardly. I did not know she had not placed it all the way onto my buggy. When I got outside in the parking lot, as I was crossing the intersection in front of the store, the bag came off and went under the wheel of my buggy. I had my infant son on my back at the time. I could not roll the buggy off the bag. It was stuck and I had to lift the very heavy buggy off frantically. I was in the middle of the road and I was terrified my son and I were going to get ran over. I managed to get the bag off and get everything to the car. My birdseed has a hole and leaked out birdseed all across the parking lot and into my car. When I got home, I found that one of the packages of raw chicken had been busted as well. It leaked out raw chicken juices into a very expensive insulated bag. I always place all my meats into the bags provided by Aldi to prevent cross contamination. Because the cashier was in such a hurry, my meats had been flung out of their bags. The chicken had been mashed up with all my produce when she had thrown everything into the buggy. Right after this, my husband and I became extremely ill. I ended up in the ** and after talking to the doctor, I believe we had food poisoning caused from cross contamination from the leaking meat. Aldi should be held responsible for my husbands and my medical bills as well as the $272.75 grocery bill.Business Response

I have spent hours on the phone and I have been shifted around between representatives and at the end I am always promised that someone will reach out only to never hear back. I will accept this response only when I have had someone call me to follow up on this matter.

I bought a garden hose from Aldi ********** ** with "Lifetime Warranty" promises. After a short it started to leak. When I head to Aldi's website found an email address to report this. On March 12th 2023 I purchased food for delivery from Their Waterbury store with a delivery date of March 13th between the hours of 11 and 1. On the 13th I received a text stating that my order would be delivered by 2pm that day. After 2 pm I kept checking my order and each time the delivery time had changed. By 4pm that day and still no delivery I called the customer service number on my email. After 40 minutes on the phone there was no resolution as to when I would reveive my order. It is now 10pm and I receive a message stating that my order will now be delivered on MARCH 17th (5 days after my order was placed) When I spoke with the ** rep she stated that a manager would call me back, which never happened. I want my order cancelled, the hold released on my card now, NOT IN 10 Days. My order number is 0154-5841-1445-8216. I was also given a case number but of course I can't ***********. I am beyond angry at this point. If your company cannot provide a service then the customer should not be charged. I WAS a loyal Aldi customer but I can assure you this will be my last dealings with your company. I do have to say that the ** rep that I spoke with was beyond professional considering she had to listen to me yell for 40 minutes. i want a refund NOWBusiness Response

went in tho the store sat 2/18 had 2 pairs of ****************** leggings, red leggings with pink hearts all over the leggings, the whole aisle of ********* ***** was ****ed 50 percent off. The lady at the register told me the leggings were ringing up full price ****. I asked her to call a manager over to **** them down, the manager came over rudely and told me only the candy is on sale not clothes, the rest of ***** he said doesn't go on sale for 2 weeks, he also said corporate handles **** downs and he is not allowed to handle **** downs and the leggings are not on sale, How is that so i said when everything else on the aisle in 50 % off? I asked for corporate's number I told him I saw the leggings on sale at another Aldi but they did not have the size I needed, he said evey aldi is different, and refused to give me the leggings at a discounted price.I called and complained to corp, they told me store managers CAN **** down items.I went back to the store and was told by the manager he heard about me. they could not **** down the leggings for me they are not on sale.I have pictures of all of the other items on the shelf ****ed down to 50% off, including baby clothes, underwear, hot sauce, decorations etc. ( see attached)There is no reason these ********* leggings shouldn't be ****ed down as well.They tried to paint me as a crazy lady in the store for asking for the discount and being upset when they refused to discount the leggings, other customers were looking at me until they realized everything else on that Valentines Day aisle was on sale. It does not make sense to not **** the leggings down.Maybe aldi workers are pocketing the extra money they are charging for these leggings.Now it seems like they are not ****ing the leggings down out of spite.I want to pick up 2 pairs of the ********* leggings today or tomorrow and get the discounted price of **** per pair.Business Response

I have had unpleasant shopping experiences every single time I choose to use Aldis in ************* **. There is little to no customer service. When the employees speak to you, when you are lucky enough to find one on the floor, it is unprofessional and severely hostile. They do not care about their jobs and make excuses for the lack of service they provide. An employee refused to help me find an item and insisted its over there you literally need to go look. Her tone was aggressive and dismissive. This 2/18 experience is just one of many at this location. The cashier neglected to offer me store bags after ringing my 2 orders.(Instacart) When I asked another employee for boxes to accommodate for not being able to get bags at check out she was extremely rude and told me that shes not responsible for providing bags or boxes. If being short staffed is the issue perhaps they should hire more compassionate people and invest in self checkout lanes. Being disrespectful to customers and not even doing your job is unacceptable. This needs to change immediately. These employees need to be fired or retrained.Business Response

On 2/10/23 12:44PM I made a purchase of goods from store #**. On 2/11/23 5:40PM I returned two items from my purchase the day prior to store #**. I was required to insert my card into the card reader to obtain my refund. Mh total refund due was $21.38.On 2/14/23 I discovered that my bank was charged $21.38 instead of credited for that amount. Last night, February 13th, 2023, I arrived at Aldi's at 7:55 pm. The doors were closed and myself with another group opened the outside doors, and the inside automatic door also did not open. A young man went to the entrance area and said they were closed. We replied, it's not 8pm. He stated that the store opens 5 mins before 9am and closes 5 mins before 8pm!I've been to this store multiple times in the evening arriving minutes before close and have never experienced this issue. Frankly, if this store is going to modify hours, please list it on the entrance. As I know they are only opened until 8pm, I do make an effort to get there if my class ends early. Changing actual opened hours required an update to the current hours listed for the store.It didn't **** on my last night to obtain the young man's name. I used self checkout to complete my transaction.
