      On 08/21/2022 At 4.30 PM MICHIGAN time we call for towing to state Farm. They ask us to pay up front even though I have policy with state farm with towing coverage. They charge me $377.00 and text me that some will be there 90 to 120 Minutes. We call 18.34 that how long it will take ? they said 15 to 20 Minutes. At 18.51 we received a text that provider arrived? I text NO. At 19.33 we call and ask when towing guy will come again said 15 to 20 Minutes. We call 19.54 and told us some will there within 15 to 20 Minutes. We keep call them every 30 to 45 minutes and they keep giving us false promise that some will be there in 15 to 20 minutes. At last some one came next day 1.00 AM. Next day I ask Towing invoice they said we will email in 24 to 48 Hours. I didn't received and contact back them they said we can't provide you. I contact Agent on 08/24/2022 he made complaint and told me that some one will call you by tomorrow. I didn't received any call on 08/25/2022. I received call Friday 08/26/2022. The lady name FATIMA was rude with me and told me that we can't give you towing invoice and any compensation. Me and my family wait 7 and half hours without food and Bathroom on middle of the Highway shoulder. I need invoice and compensation for all mentally and physically harassment.

      I contacted state farm inquiring about a life insurance policy and was directed to Lea Champagne (Laplace office ) I spoke with her and she was to contact me later on that day with quotes, never did. This happened three times. I never requested her , I was directed to her. She is related and if she chose to not to want my business she could have simply asked someone else to handle it. Extremely upset because it made me feel my business wasn't good enough.

       I am rejecting this response because:


      I was not aware that she no longer works for State Farm until I was told so by that agents office. The issue here is that since she was no longer working there according to State Farm at the time I summited my complaint than how is it that my son has been made  aware of the situation and has informed me that I was trying to get  *** ********* fired. I was accepting the humiliation until then. Someone from that office called her and told her of the situation if she was no longer working there and that's even more humiliating. So if *** ********* would have accepted my request to not handle my quote I would not have to figure out how to resolve this within my own household. This has just turned into a downward spiral that I have to deal with thanks to that office going the extra step to insure that. *** should not have been able to contact my son about this matter , I do understand contacting her for her side . I can't express what this has done to my relationship with my son. Do whatever either-or side of this chooses to do, enough damage has been done to me

      I got a quote from State Farm which was a reasonable quote then they came back a week later after I switched saying that there was an insurance claim paid out showing me at fault which I hadn’t had any at fault anything. the only claims that would’ve shown up I told them about one was a windshield claim the other being hit an animal. So they said that I needed to get proof from that insurance company which was progressive I provided them with proof and my insurance agent with State Farm says that she’s talking to the underwriter and the underwriter took off the at fault but they’re still charging me a surcharge which should not be there that is what the insurance agent is telling me that it should still not be there because I have no at fault. I’ve given my agent two weeks to get this cleared up and so that is why I am submitting a complaint because in a couple weeks they’re gonna want to take next months payment out which is a ridiculous amount.

      I just received a notification for $594 to be auto drafted from my bank account. My payment should be $290. State Farm did not call me about this. I do not understand the new charges and I do NOT have any outstanding balance. This is the 2nd time they have charged me a hidden amount and I am utterly DISGUSTED with their lack of professionalism, hidden charges, surprise charges and ROBBERY!

      I was in a car accident on 07/29. The other person failed to yield and was at fault. I called the police and they took an incident report. I called my insurance and they found dealership to fix my car. I called sate farm about this accident and they said they have to get hold of their insurer and they will attempt 4 times. I waited and waited for a call back from state farm and never received one. I called back and they said that they have approved my claim and that they will repay my lost wages. Just that I had to provide documentation for lost wages. I uploaded my documents through the state farm app. Now they say that they not going to reimburse me due to that I denied their rental car. They have never offered me rental at all!!! Iam beyond upset. I just want to get repaid for my lost wages. It's been close to a month now. I have not been working and have a baby on the way. This accident has ruined my life and state farm could care less!!! Horrible and lost for words. State farm is the worst.

      I was involved in a small accident in a rental vehicle on 7/20/2021. I filed a claim with State Farm the same day. I have heard nothing about the claim since last year. Yesterday I received a message stating that State Farm made a payment to me and a third party.

      I have called the claims department three times seeking for information, each time they have directed me to subrogation but were unable to transfer me. I called my agent but my agent has no information and cannot transfer me to subrogation.

      My main concern is that there was damage to the rental van prior to my use and I believe there repairs were made to damage that I did not cause. State Farm did not keep me informed in the claims process over the last 13 months. In fact, there has been no communication in the last year about the claim. Since I was not involved in the claims process, I believe there is strong possibility that repairs were made that are outside of the scope of the damage I caused to the vehicle. As a result of State Farm's poor claims process, I will be paying more for this claim as well as more for my insurance which is absolutely inappropriate. I thought the claim had been closed because so much time had passed without communication from either party.

      State Farm mishandled my claim which inflated the consequences. I believe my responsibility for the consequences should be diminished commensurate with their mishandling the claim (i.e., the repair costs, insurance adjustments based on the repair costs). ***** ************ *he uploaded document is the extent of the information I have access to and my insurance agent has access to. I uploaded the rental contract in July and there was no other information solicited by state farm nor were there estimates provided to me.

      Per our discussion, they said they should have contacted me with estimates when they received them in March and that there was no excuse for the lack of communication up to that point.

      To summarize, repairs were made to damages I did not cause and I shared proof (pictures) with them and they said, "we've already paid. It's not like we're going to ask for a refund." They went on to say the third party could come after me for more damages (e.g., lost revenue) as well as refer any delayed payments to collections. 

      It did not seem like they were focused on finding solutions.

       I am rejecting this response because:


      I emailed State Farm with evidence that showed pre-existing damage to the vehicle which was repaired by the damage claim. State Farm presented no evidence of negotiations of prorated costs associated with pre-existing damage.

      A large portion of the bill is associated with painting and decal work which was much more necessary to repair the pre-existing damage rather than the damage related to the claim. The pre-existing damage scraped into the decals. 
      Further, a side panel was replaced where the bulk of the damage was from prior damage, if I damaged it all. The prior damage was visible because of the yellow paint transfer, rather than grey, and much taller than what was associated with my damage - 4ft rather than 2ft or less.   

      I discussed both of these with State Farm. I am paying for repairs to damage I did not cause.

      I purchased a new vehicle and contacted my agent, ****** ****** to add the vehicle to my account. I’ve been a loyal member since 2004. When my policy was issued, one of the discounts applied was wrong. I was given good driver discount instead of accident free. I was told multiple times it would be corrected. I was continually told by the agents staff that there was an issue with underwriting being “understaffed”. It has not been corrected and I’ve been given so much false hope from State Farm and am losing trust in this company. I often feel like im being lied to by staff as im sure they do no care for me at this point. Now, my emails aren’t responded to and I’ve never once received any sort of acknowledgement from the main agent himself since switching.

      This should Not be that difficult to fix. Add the discount, submit the policy so I can go about my merry way.

      I’m normally a patient person and have had good experiences since moving to MI, but this is pathetic.

      On July 21, 2022 my neighbors rotten tree fell on my property causing damage to approximately 100 feet of fencing and salt treated fence posts. My husband's log splitter was also damaged. About a year ago, ***** and ***** ******* moved into the house and property in question. We were told that the owner. Ms. ******* was giving the house and property to ***** ******* who is her neice. Several months ago. My husband showed the tree in question to ***** ******* and gave him the name of someone to remove the tree. It wasn't until the evening of 7/21/2, that we were advised Ms. ******* had never transferred the property. I called myself and made the claim to State Farm the next day. 7/22/22. ***** **********  It is now 5 weeks later and I am still told the case was under investigation. Meanwhile I have a large tree in my front yard. The Claim Adjustor for State Farm handling the case is ****** ********. I must say he has been very rude and not at all forthcoming with information. I have many pictures of the tree and damage. I feel the owner was neglect in this matter. We contacted the people who we were told owned the property. My insurance company is Nationwide. My adjustors at Nationwide has at least been calling and checking. I can not say the same for State Farm. So much for being a "Good Neighbor on your Side". I would definitely appreciate some answers to this complaint.

      I called state farm on 8/10/2022. Because on the 9th of August i noticed a puddle of water sitting in the middle of my basement level family room floor,I told the claims agent That I am not aware and unsure how or what caused it to happen. I know there was a bad rain storm on the 8th of August and that my laundry room flood but the water drained and there wasn't any damage in the laundry Because it's tile floors. I explained the only damage was to my carpet and the area rug that layer on top of the carpet. She asked if there is still water I said not really the carpet is just damp. She said ok I will have to send out a medigation team to dry the water I said ok. 3 days later ATI medigation team came out completely tore out my carpet exposing asbestos tiles and cut ever wall in the room open from the bottom half left 3 machines in the room to dry the room sealed the area came back 3 days later took their machines I requested that they keep the area sealed since the tiles are exposed and I have 4 young children 1 of which already has breathing issues. 1 week later they set up an appointment for someone to come out from state farm on 08/24/22 he came in looked downstairs asked if it was ground water. I said the water was on there floor he stated it's not cover your policy doesn't cover flood your not In a flood zone. I called my agent spoke with my direct agent she 3 water state farm claims to understand how they are not covering the damage they have caused with no resolution I keep requesting to speak with managers, according to everyone I spoke with none are ever available you have to put in a request for a call back 2 days and still no call back. So what could have costed me 2000$ to fix state farm turned into 10000$ of damage if not more and are refusing to cover the cost of their own damage.

      I was in an accident with a State Farm insured driver on 7/1 (his fault). I was finally able to get my vehicle in a shop and repaired on 8/15. State Farm was responsible for providing a rental during the repair process. I returned the rental on 8/18 and now realized that Hertz charged me $29.16. I submitted the receipt to State Farm as I shouldn't have any expenses for this claim (even though time spent on my part has well exceeded any amount they have to pay). I got a call from State Farm telling me that the charge is for fuel and they aren't responsible for fuel charges. So, I was supposed to get a rental and then NOT drive it to work and back?! What is the point of paying for the rental if you're not going to pay for me to use it. Just ridiculous and it's been like this since day one of filing the claim with State Farm. They have the rudest claim team and customer service associates and they've done nothing but try to skirt the claim and now I still end up having to come out of pocket. I will NEVER use them as a carrier and I make sure to let others know that they should steer clear as well.

      I don't want to discuss my "concerns". I want them to pay the full price of the rental. Their driver hit me and they should pay for me to have to drive a rental car while my vehicle was being repaired.
