      I was rear ended and it has been a nightmare to get repairs to my vehicle. No one knows what’s going on, I called repeatedly and they had my email address wrong, never received important documents, absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had.
      I do not recommend them. If you are ever hit by someone with State Farm insurance, just get a lawyer involved.

      With out a doubt the worst insurance company in the business. 30 years of payments 3 minor claims and nothing from them. Not worth even having insurance if this is your insurance company. Spend your money anywhere else.

      Have had 3 roofing companies inspect our roof for hail damage. They all have found it obvious hits on shingles, soffit, gutters, chimney topper, etc. on both the house and our shed. The shed had shingles off as well. We have had 2 State Farm adjustors out to look at the damage, and both had questionable takes on the roof (How can obvious hail damage be classified as normal wear and tear?). State Farm has denied the claims of many in this area of Wisconsin from this hail storm whereas other insurers have been making good on their customers getting roof replaced. I am at the point where I can no longer trust State Farm to cover our home and cars. I will likely need to go through the process of finding a new insurer after this and my next step is to file with the state insurance commissioner and potentially finding legal representation. Our Agent, Erik Hosking, has worked hard on this and is in no way at fault in this issue. I never had issues like this from my prior insurer, **** **** *******

      State Farm deserves a 0 if I could give it. Specifically the ******* ** branch on **** ******s. My boyfriend and I have been going back and forth with them and corporate for TWO WHOLE WEEKS to get our bill corrected. In the end, we were still told we had to pay the incorrect amount because it had already been billed. Their UNMANAGED agents are simply messing up folks policies and not making any effort to fix it. We received incredibly poor customer service. When we visited the branch, we couldn’t go inside. We simply wanted to add our new vehicle to our existing policy and we’re screwed over. We are having to pay for the policy double because of the agents mistake. We were never explained or given option of policy. What they are charging does not match up with what we were quoted or our declaration that was sent to us. I am highly disappointed and will not be renewing anything with them this year.

      State farm stole money from me and canceled our policies and didn't notify us about it. They were only allowing 18 cents for insulation, 25 cents an hour for a carpenter. They are the worst company I've ever dealt with. I would advise to run a car away from them as possible!

While we cannot share specific details in this public response, our Claims Department contacted the complainant on September 9, 2022, to address her concerns. We have reached a satisfactory resolution of this matter with the consumer.

      We have been paying premiums to State Farm for over 47 years. This year State Farm cancelled our home owners insurance. The cancellation letter stated we had too many claims. We had two paid claims totaling $13,000 in 47 years. We were working with a roofing company/State Farm on replacing our roof. Many homes in our subdivision were in the process of getting new roofs due to a storm that had taken place in 2020. We filed our claim in the 1 year window. And we were told we did not file in a timely manner. When they determined we did file in a timely manner, their story changed. Then we were told we didn't have any hail damage. We called our agent and never got a response back from her. State Farm is not the insurance company it used to be.

      I am 29 weeks pregnant and my car stopped working at 9pm. I was stranded on the road for 5 hours waiting for a tow. No AC And I couldn’t leave my car because I wasn’t able to lock the car. I called multiple times and the chat is UNRELIABLE. the agent would close the chat or not even respond back to me. I had to call so many times in that 5 hours and kept getting “you will get a text soon”. It’s 1:30am and still waiting for a tow.

      Parents have been with state farm for 62 years had to make claims 2020 2021 twice in 2022 because sewer and water backup first time ever using the insurance for having it for 62 years put more money in it that they ever got out of it and canceled them because they used their insurance that they paid for. Insurances are nothing but a big money maker. They love you as long you dont have to make claims and they don't have to put money out. So sad you been with a company go 62 years and when you finally need they to pay up they drop you.

      After being a State Farm customer for MANY years, I just dealt with the most dreadful experience while cancelling my policy. Long story short, they continued to charge me after I had cancelled my policy and made it near impossible to receive a refund. And instead of apologizing for their error and doing everything they could to ensure I received all of my stolen money back, they created delays and roadblocks every step of the way. They did not believe that I had ever called to cancel my policy even as sales people from the town where I've moved started to hound me. Dealing with Mikayla ****** was particularly unpleasant as she gaslit me and refused to take any responsibility on behalf of State Farm or her own lack of effort at resolving the issue. I wonder if this is a common scam - "forgetting" to record cancellations, continuing to charge, and then hoping people simply give up prior to receiving all their money back. It warrants investigation. At the very least, avoid the State Farm Chuck Braun office like the plague.

      Adding on to my review above: They finally sent me two refund checks for the same amount. I deposited one into my bank account and it BOUNCED!!!! So they must have cancelled if after realizing they'd sent two, so my bank charged me $12 due to State Farm's bounced check. I guess they could not have bothered to reach out to me and let me know that one of the checks would be invalid. I believe I still have the other check, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if that one is bad too. State Farm, please refund me an additional $12 dollars for sending me a bad check and not notifying me. This is beyond ridiculous.

      I was hit from behind by somebody insured by State Farm and it has been the worst damn experience of my life. They were in such a rush to settle but won’t release my damn funds for my medical injury . WHEN ITS BEEN PROVEN THEY ARE AT FAULT! This was first week of June and it is now the end of august. 98% of the people i talk to are rude as hell and I’ve got hung up on more than once . The adjuster over my case has only talked to me one damn time through this entire process and could care less about the bad place his client put me in. This has been a load of hell.
