      State Farm increased my property insurance by 28.25% ($926) based on a lie that they worked with me to do an estimated value of my home, inside and out (using a photo of the outside of the home). The agent tells me replacement costs are high but I'm not in a flood zone, fire zone and I have not filed a claim during the entire 29 years I have been with State Farm. Am I paying for the California wild fires just as I have had to pay a large increase after September 11th, 2001? Of course, I was sent the increase right before the policy renewal; so I have a limited timeframe to find another policy.

      I have been a State Farm customer for many years. I filed a claim due to hail damage on April 18, 2025. I had a contractor come to my home and verify the hail damage. State Farm sent an inspector out and the contractor walked with him on the roof and pointed out the damage. State Farm claims verified hail damage on a metal shed and also on the metal chimney tops all over the roof, but denied that the damage to the roof was caused by hail and denied the roof part of the hail damage claim. I contacted them again for a reinspection, and also sent in numerous pictures of the damage.
      The claims department did not even send out an inspector and again denied the claim.
      I have pointed out a couple of things that don't make sense;
      The hail damage on the roof is on the South facing roof, but the north facing roof does not show any of this damage. Claims states this is normal wear and tear.
      Secondly, how is it possible to have damage on all the metal caps, and to a metal shed, but not on the roof?
      I would like to State Farm to live up to the policy and coverage I have been paying for, for many years.

      What a joke
      State Farm denied and didn’t complete the work needed on my truck. Problems from my accident are not fixed. No in person adjuster look at my truck. I pay hard earned money to this scam of a company for decades and get denied on repairs truck leaks water through windshield a/c doesn’t work properly. All these problems were not happening before the accident. I am not satisfied with anything that has taken place after my acciden. I will not sit back and take this lightly

      Despite repeated communications and reassurances, my case continues to experience delays, misinformation, and lack of proper resolution. I am requesting that my roof be restored to its pre-loss condition as soon as possible.
      During our conversation yesterday, I was informed that pictures of my roof would be sent to me. However, among the images I received, I noticed three pictures of a black wall with a barcode—which clearly do not belong to my property. I request that all photos used to assess my claim be verified as belonging to my home and not be mixed with images from other properties.
      I must emphasize that when the contractor assigned by State Farm visited my property, he spent less than 10 minutes on-site before leaving. A proper and thorough roof inspection should require more time and care. This lack of diligence casts doubt on the accuracy and fairness of the inspection report.
      The current focus by State Farm appears to be on partial shingle replacement, even though photographic evidence clearly shows multiple areas of damage requiring repair. A partial fix does not reflect the full extent of the storm damage.
      The proposed solution by State Farm includes the addition of materials that differ from the original roofing components. This change would not only affect the appearance of my property but could also negatively impact its market value, particularly if I decide to sell the home in the future.
      As I have stated in previous emails and phone conversations, prior to the windstorm, there were no signs of light or wind entering my attic. The storm has compromised the safety and integrity of my home, and it is critical that this be addressed completely—not partially.
      Since raising my concerns about the initial claim decision, I was informed that the claim had been reopened and escalated to management. I was also told that an option for a second inspection would be considered.

      I was rear-ended by a driver carrying State Farm auto insurance. I, like the rest of traffic, was stopped at a light. The other driver wasn't paying attention and hit me going at or over the posted speed limit. Cops called out, ticket issued, her truck crumpled upon impact. State Farm refuses to pay for the damages their customer caused to me and my vehicle because her policy, while active, doesn't cover her truck -- per State Farm, they know about both vehicles and stated, "She's had these vehicles for a while, I don't know why the truck isn't listed on her policy." So, now the repairs to my vehicle are on me thru my policy, my premiums will go up because of this claim, and I have to find the money to pay my deductible... all penalties for something that's not my fault.

      I had a great experience when talking to Joanne, a State Farm rep. She saved my daughter and I a great amount of money for our Auto insurance and home insurance.
      We were both satisfied and in awe with the amount of discounts that were applied!

      A tree fell on my fence after a storm at the beginning of the month. I contacted State Farm. Initially, a young lady informed me that State Farm would pay to have the tree removed. The estimate to remove the tree was $750. A second tree that the tree service said needed removing due to rot would bring my total payment to $2600. I was only asking for $750 since it fell on my fence. I was then told by a different person that I would have to pay the deductible, around $2000. I said that the other person said it would be covered. I don't understand the high deductible. I have been a customer for years and felt that I was/am getting the run around. This was an act of nature. I'm going to change insurance agencies because I don't feel like a valued customer with State Farm. These ridiculous deductibles you have to pay in order to receive a service that my years of paying to this company should be considered. When I tried to call there was no answer. This is not how you do business. I'm speaking about the State Farm downtown Rome, Georgia. My name is Sanea.
