I returned $209 worth of merchandise within a week of ordering it in June 2023. I never heard back from them. I emailed 4 times before I found the public phone number. I called twice. Both times they said the refund was coming. Nothing has been refunded and they wouldnt sent a refund email. I finally reached someone who said I was being refunded $120. When I said I was owed more they said it was a mistake. But now they cant figure out how to refund me what Im owed or even transfer me to someone who can help. Its MID AUGUST! Do not order from this company!! I just want what Im owed back!Business Response

I purchased a Blueair 311 Auto made by this company and was charged $270.76 on April 22, 2023.The unit was used intermittently for less than 3 months. The fan stopped working so the unit is inoperable. There is a 1 year warranty on this product. **************** is HORRIBLE and non responsive.From reading online reviews, this is the normal operation for this company. Blue Air charged my bank account in the amount of $243.79. I have never purchased anything from this company. Until this transaction, I did not even know who this company was. The company tried to charge our bank card for $212.99 but that transaction was denied.Business Response

Incidentally, this was a fraudulent purchase made on our website with this customer's payment information. Please have the customer contact their bank to have this card cancelled as they can probably expect a number of other charges.

Ordered a BlueAir 211i **************** from BlueAir directly and returned it the same day due to odors it emitted. I followed the online instructions printing a label with the return authorization and including the original packing slip. It arrived at the BlueAir warehouse the next day. Still no refund over a month later, and under my order history there is no sign of my return, even though I can find it through the *** tracking. The small print on the site says it takes 60 days to receive a refund, which is outrageous. I also get no response from BlueAir when submitting a question about my order. This is the worst company I've dealt with in decades. Feels like a scam.Business Response

After cancelling my subscription for replacement filters I received an email informing me that do to my cancellation my warranty would be void immediately. This tactic seems ripe with fraudulence. I have every right to use my filtration as much or as little as I choose and I also have the right to purchase replacement filters as I need, without being required to have a subscription for replacement filters. Either the device is manufactured to last for its warranted time period or not. Having a subscription does not in any way extend the life of the filtration device since filters can be purchased from other sources or be purchased only when they device needs them. I doubt that cancelling my warranty was legal.Business Response

I ordered (online) an air filter from Bluair on June 27. It was never received. On the website, it was marked as 'closed.' I called the company a week later to try to figure out why it was closed and never shipped. The customer service agent apologized for an error and said it would be shipped and that I would receive a confirmation email. Neither happened. I called again this morning to cancel my order and refill subscription, and I also removed my payment information from their website. What I got was a reinstated order and shipment. This is not what I asked. I called again to follow up, and no one, not the agent on the phone nor the agent on the chat offered immediate cancellation. There were 2 charges placed on my card on 6/19/2023, and I have never done business or did I even know who this company was.I contacted my bank and they directed me to contact the company directly to refund the charges I did not make.I have been trying to call the ***** number with no answer. I just sit on hold with no response. The charges on my card total $514.10, but the company credited $10.00 back so $504.10 has been taken from my bank.It seems this company has a major fraud issue and should be investigated by the BBB since this is an ongoing issue and they do not seem to have proper fraud protection systems in place.Business Response

My existing blueair purifier started to smell when i would run it. This purifier is about 9 years old so I wasn't sure if it was the age or the filters. 07-Aug-2022: I ordered a new set of filters for my existing Blueair purifier 603 series which was order no. CA100049617. However the same smell was occurring so I wasnt able to run it often. 11-November 2022: I emailed Blueair in regards to a burning smell coming from this air purifier and asked if they had any suggestions what that could be. I received # Request ****** for this email but no response from them. 07-March 2023: I ordered a new Blue air Classic 605 purifier since I was not able to use the existing one due to the smell and Blueair had a sale on. With order CA100068365, my total I paid is $479.52 ********. 25-March-2023: I emailed blueair at ******************************* because the exact same smell was coming from this new machine now. So I now have two air purifiers I cannot use due to the smell it omits in the room which smells like a burning smell. With this email I referenced both of the above order numbers CA100049617 and CA100068365, as I think this smell is coming from the filters and I have since read reviews with others experiencing the same. I received no response to this email. 08-Apr-2023: I logged the above email through a service request and received Case **** which said I would receive a response in 7 days. I have not received a response yet. Now reading all these complaints from others and not ever getting responses from Blueair, I want my $479 back for the new air purifier and to return this at their cost. I cannot use this from the smell it omits and I am not interested in trying new filters or a different air purifier with the customer service they do not provide.Business Response

I have severe asthma, I bought 2 $850. Air purifier from Amazon in January of 2020 Blue air was highly recommended by Consumers Reports.After the first year contacting customer service became more difficult . Now blue air has moved all their customer service off shore to incompetent clueless poor English speaking representatives After only 2 years of service the motor bearings on one air filter are making noise and the whole motor assembly has to be replaced. I was shocked to find that it only had a one year warranty, because Blue Air knew they were selling junk products, made in ***** along with their air filters. I would like Blue Air to replace both units at their own cost , but I know they never will.Please do not buy anything from Blue Air, you do so at your own risk, if you just look at the vast amount of complaints you can see this not a good company to deal with.Business Response

I bought two BlueAir Pure 211+ a year ago. They worked fine for months. Then I replaced the filter (a Blue Air filter), and one of the machines stopped working. I opened it up and the filter was black. I have contacted the company numerous times--and each time a **************** rep tells me that they are going to send out a new unit. I've called numerous times, but cannot tolerate the 15-minute+ waits. I registered the unit when I bought it--and the service reps have said the warranty would cover the problem.I'd like a replacement unit--soon!Business Response
