      United cancelled my flight (DDMVBH) home from ********** on 5.4. We could not fly out until the following day. We contacted the phone number on a card given to ** by the airline. They shared (on a recorded line) that they will cover the charge of our lodging, transport to and from the airport and meals until we arrive back home. Additionally we requested compensation since we incurred late fees, additional charges and lost two days of vacation between my husband and I. We arrived back home over 24 hours from our original return date and time. We were mentally exhausted, but hopeful our additional costs incurred would be covered and we would be compensated for the fees incurred due to arriving 24 hours later. When we called to checkin on the status of our claim a few weeks later, they shared they are a reservations line and cannot issue a credit or help. They said we had to file a form online and attach our receipts. I did it all, even with their website being faulty. After weeks of going back and forth on email, we were told we will only receive $200 per person for our fees incurred. That covers about half of our fees due to the cancellation. I have repeatedly asked to be contacted by phone, but no one will acknowledge or help. Whenever I call their care number, I am on hold for over an hour and am repeatedly told no one can help, it all needs to go through email. We were blatantly lied to and have lost hundreds of dollars through this process. I am requesting reimbursement for the costs I personally incurred due to this flight cancellation.

      At the ************** trying to escalate a concern with ***************************, it was not resolved. As I said asked away she told her coworker she gets at least one jew every day which was a slur directed towards me.

      Disappointed and outraged.The refund was denied when wasnt able to have my wedding due to your flight. I missed my hotel booking and all because of United. I placed in a hotel for a few hours that was not even close to standard. This happened because your flight 662 had mechanical issues severely. Five hour delay total. On the turnpike with brake issues, scared me and my fianc half to death. Landing was so rough because we flew on a plane with broken breaks and air flirtation. This is unacceptable of an experience being my first time flying United. Counter reps in ****** extremely rude and dismissive. Gave incorrect baggage information so had to stay at the airport an extra 2 hours looking for my bag. Just appalling.

      I called United Airlines on June 11 to confirm my tickets and request the seats if possible prior to my flight that was scheduled for June 12 at 7:45 PM. When I called, your agent, ****, answered and left me on hold to check my booking and assist with seat reservation. However after a 15-minute hold she notified me that the flight was "cancelled" for "technical issues." I was shocked because nobody notified me from United Airlines or the agency I had booked the tickets with, CheapOair. All she proceeded to do was offer me new tickets at a significantly higher price, some of which were double the initial price I had paid ($3760). She was very persistent in selling me these new tickets claiming that these "discounted" tickets that she offered will expire and that I would have to pay as high as $8000 per person. I could not afford that, and I told her I was going to contact my agency that I booked the tickets with in the first place. ********* claimed to not know anything about this problem and said it was United Airlines who were responsible for the cancellation. The UA agent texted me that it was *********'s fault and that they cancelled it. I lost my flight because of the negligence of UA and CheapOair, and now I am waiting for a ticket refund (that I hope will be done in a timely manor as they promised) so I can rebook tickets with somebody else. I will never use United Airlines ever again and I think they should shut their business down because they have terrible customer service and are making people have horrible experiences. That should not be a case because we paid for the service and the tickets.

      Imagine being stuck in an airport in *****, ***** unable to get back to *******, fine right, another day of vacation. Well, not with United. Instead of cancelling the flight earlier, they kept delaying the flight hour per hour, meaning you couldn't leave for fear you will loose your flight. They continued to do this and wasted an entire day before cancelling the flight. Halfway across the globe is not like we could find another flight with another airline at the last minute. They scheduled the flight to the next day and handed some paperwork out for reimbursement for overnight hotel and a meal voucher. Then it took about 3-4 hours to finally get ** back through security and get our luggage. We also had a connecting flight, which of course we missed, so they rescheduled one of us, but put the other person on standby even though our tickets were book together. Spent over an hour to finally get through to **************** to get us booked on the connecting flight and at this point our options were crappy seats in the back and not what we have paid for. Fast forward a month later, have spent hundred of hours going back and forth with United **************** (or lack of) showing them proof of expenses and the letter provided at the airport. Each time they come back with another question for something that has already been provided. Either they're playing dumb or they're really that dense. Terrible customer service!

      United Airlines has gone way down hill over the past several years. Number one: Their new PLUS POINTS program is a joke. You accumulate Plus Points but cannot use them because United doesn't allow them on most flights. If you happen to fly in the dead of winter or fly to some remote island, sure they are allowed. But you can't use them most of the year, especially to popular destinations. So they expire. Really bad program which shows no respect or appreciation for Mileage Plus customers. I was a 1K customer sitting on 180 Plus Points that I tried to use to no avail, so they expired. Did United give a damn? Absolutely not. Number two: Their business class is one of the worse I've encountered. I fly all over the world on many different airlines. United has the worse food and the smallest compartments. I will give them credit for service in biz class, however. Their flight attendants are good. Unfortunately, what they serve is terrible. Goodbye United. You don't care so why should I?

      I have booked a flight to ******, ******** on Feb, 11 2023 for my step fathers funeral on March 23, 2023. They canceled my flight March 23 not even 6 hours before my flight, with no explanation, just telling me to make other travel arrangements. It's been over 120 days and no refunds or compensation and every time I call them they hang up the phone. I missed my step fathers funeral because of this. I've tried asking to talk with a manager repeatedly and they just keep hanging up on me. I don't know what to do from here. The worst experience I have ever hard with an airline!! 0 stars in my book and should be investigating for fraud.

      Unfortunately, United Airlines is the worst airline I’ve ever flown with because of the terrible customer service and not having my issue resolved that’s been ongoing for the past 9 months!!!

      I am requesting a full refund for $388.40 with United Airlines. I was suppose to fly to Rapid to spend time with my family. I have a disability & high end anxiety. Because of weather the plane had to be diverted to Colorado Springs. We sat on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hours. We finally flew back to Denver & arrived in Denver at 9:06 PM. The plane to Rapid was cancelled. The customer service agent rebooked me a trip to Chicago & told me I would get a hotel voucher in Chicago. She was not going to get me a voucher in Denver but made Denver happen as well. I arrived in Chicago at 11:19 AM 5/30 & the agent there would not get me a hotel stating when it came to weather it was beyond their control.. I have high end anxiety & United could care less & needed rest if I was going to enjoy Rapid & seeing my family. United never should of sent me to Chicago. They should have kept me in Denver until 1 was available to Rapid. Bc of United negligence I never got to see my family & see my mom for her 75th Birthday. I am requesting a full refund & for loss wages as I took a week off work.

      Terrible experience! If you get the regular ticket now they make check in at the airport, instead of on the app and they charge $60 so they can check a small carry on, they won't let you your bag with you!
