      I paid for the up graded seats for a flight with one stop, after paying for and receiving a seat assignment they pulled my seats and said sorry about your luck. Deal with the seats we give you.

      We booked United for a family of four to and from ******. Because Basic Economy would not allow seat selections we paid the higher Economy fare for seat selection. From ****** to *************, we had to pay extra for a window seat so 4 of us can be together. But coming back, they reassigned all our seats to the middle of the plane and we lost our Window seats and no automatic refund. Coming back from ************* to *******, we selected 2 window and middle seats but we were reassigned again with 3 of us in a row and one of us assigned to the very back of the plane just before boarding. I complained to the Agent and she told me she did not know why we were split up and she acknowledge I paid for a seat on the last leg but not this one. In order to move up I had paid over $100. During that flight I did not even get a drink of water for a 4 hour flight while my other 3 family had snack and drink. I have complained to them in an email and their response is they cannot guarantee seat selection. This is obviously a money grab. When they have people willing to pay more to have our window seats or seats closer to the front, they would sell our seats to more profits. This is the first time of any airlines that our seat selections were not honored. It is obvious in the website the difference between Economy and Basic Economy and we are paying more for Economy but nothing is guaranteed. They can downgrade you and sell your seats when others are willing to pay more. I have asked them to refund me the difference between Economy and Basic Economy and their excuse was that we already used the tickets that no refund would be rewarded. Do they expect us to refuse boarding? What an ridiculous excuse. I had complained to the ground agent and she expected me to pay to get moved up. So it is not they did not have the seat but they wanted me to pay extra for it. This is a scam. They do not honor their Economy fare benefits and use excuses to cover their dishonest and money hunger.

      united airline charge $300 did not return for ticket and $125 charge for cancelation . total $ 425. they are thief

      My wife and I paid for a flight. We received an email from United Airlines confirming the flight. We paid our driver to bring us to the airport. Upon our arrival we were then told by an employee of United Airlines that our flight has been cancelled. My wife and I then quickly paid for and rented a vehicle in order to drive (approximately 200 miles) to catch our connecting flight. We caught our flight. However, UNITED AIRLINE IS REFUSING TO (at least) REIMBURSE US FOR A FLIGHT THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!The actions of the executives and employees of United Airlines are both incomprehensible and unacceptable -- Why do they feel as though they can act as if they are above the law?!

      Horrible customer service and website. Flight was canceled without my knowledge and I didn't know until I tried to check in the night before. **************** agents were no help even though they were at fault.

      Our flight to ****** was changed without our consent, which caused us to be stuck in ****** and lose a day of our vacation in ******. We lost hotel reservations, had to make new accommodations, and lost our luggage without United providing any apology or compensation. My wife was without her luggage for 7 days in ******, and I did not receive mine at all.Here's the official United Airlines lost baggage policy as of 2022. Note that it says, If we're unable to find your bag after five days, you may be eligible for $1,500 for the value of your baggage and its contents without requiring any documentation.We have received nothing but transfers, deflections, and ingenuine customer care. They have also lost our luggage when traveling to ********* over New Years (simply cancelled our flight and could not return our luggage when we rebooked through Southwest). They have incorrectly charged me for traveling with my bike to Napa and ********* for my Ironman events. What once was a 96 year old business that had an edge on other airlines in customer service, prestige, and convenience, can now not even provide luggage compensation that is specific to their website. It seems they are a company of idiots bumping into each other. Fly elsewhere.

      United Airlines refused my wife to board her flight despite showing up to the airport with ample time prior to departure, and they refused to refund her the funds. This airline is unprofessional and should be avoided at all costs.

      They sold me a 45 minute "flight" that turned out to be a 3 hour train ride. Their customer form has been having "momentary" service issues for several hours now. Their phone representatives do nothing except ask you to try to fill out the form over and over again. Their refunds department doesn't issue compensation for committing fraud. I'm going to hire a lawyer.

      disgusting costumer service, do not take responsibility for there mistakes, only good when everything is smooth, but when any small bump, delay, change of schedule, they make you pay, no service, every one ignores you

      We have been waiting for our suitcase for five days now. They told us it was in ************** and that it should be delivered the next day . That was five days ago!How long does a Suitcase take to to be delivered from ************** which is only 45 minutes away from our house. My husband has been on the phone everyday because on the app it tells us it is out for delivery but it never gets here. So now we are worried that it's getting lost or delivered to someone elses house. So he's on the phone with United airlines customer service baggage department on hold for over an hour each time. This has been a nightmare! This is a terrible delivery service. I would recommend that if your flight gets cancelled to get your suitcase and then try and find another way home like we had too or you will be without your things forever!
