      In July 2024 I contacted ***** ***** senior Vice President (NMLS ******) as a mortgage lender for a Coop in *********. As a young professional first time home buyer I was apprehensive of the process. ***** reassured me the process would be quick, smooth, and that he would be readily available to guide me through the process. What occurred in MONTHS to follow was an absolute nightmare. Once I signed documents paid the $700+ fee for the application and appraisal fee he became elusive and arrogant. He was short, and rude in conversation and I was constantly being dismissed with phone calls or important questions such as an explanation of the point system or rate locking. He simply could not answer my questions saying we had time and redirecting me to his assistant. I was directed by him to sign a floating rate and that I had time to lock it in while my calls were unanswered, my lawyers for the coop calls were unanswered, paperwork was not completed on a timely manner and he was consistently promising things he did not provide. October 2024, 4 months after contacting ***** ***** I still did not have a final clearance to close. This is now awaiting over 30 days for the mortgage approval to close. The real estate attorney and I expressed our dissatisfaction with his professional abilities and his reply was to find another lender without problems. He said the bank could not give me the loan after waiting 4 months. He promised checks to be mailed to my residence covering the fees I paid but the checks were incorrectly written. He wanted me to correct the checks myself.l I refused and he wound up zelling me the money with another womans account. Be CAREFUL with who you deal with. This has caused me a great deal of issues I had to pay penalties for my rent extension. He told me the money came out of his pocket to reimburse me Im thinking because he didnt want it to go corporate.

      **** is a true professional and a huge support through all things unknown (to me). He made sure I understood every step of the ***** process and helped make the refi super easy on my end. I highly recommend **** and The Federal Savings Bank team for all things VA Loan and Refinance.

      Deceptive mail constantly being sent to me. I do not want a loan from them, they have sent mail that looks like a check, others are perforated annoying mail that I no longer even open saying "Available Funds Alert." I called them and asked them to stop, the guy was an arrogant jerk, and the mail continues to come in.

      The Federal Savings Bank is an absolute joke! These people who claim this is a private company ran by Veterans strung me along for nearly 3 months and at the end of the day final sent paperwork stating my income wasn't sufficient enough for the amount I was requesting WHICH IS A FLAT OUT LIE!!! They could not find a program within their structure to find my particular situation and because they couldn't they sent a letter blaming this on me. From jump this was a stall tactic because their customer service *** OVER promised and UNDER delivered. I'm requesting a call back from management because my next step is to ***ort *** to the ****.

      Stephen exceeded all expectations. I have never seen anyone so proactive, diligent, knowledgeable, in touch with modern communication, and not afraid of Technology and progress. It was my best experience in customer service, and as a professional, a stature that doesn't run the street nowadays.
      I am happy with everything I have because I am convinced that Stephen did everything he could to satisfy my needs on this refinance.
      we have a six-month review of the loan. I am already excited about working with him again.
