      We were told that the process would take about 2.5 weeks... back the last week in May. We got them all the information they asked for asap after the phone call with ****..... Still havent heard a word on it. I have sent emails just asking for any kind of update.... NOTHING back. They knew our financial situation and how desperate our situation was and that we needed to make it happen.. To not respond to calls or emails at all over the course of WEEKS.... Horrible business and HIGHLY recommend avoiding.

      I was called by ***************************** Assistant Senior ******************** *******. He told me he aims looks to help out veterans. I told him I wasn't interested unless I could get down to 5.75% from the 6.75% He said I could buy down my rate by paying $9k for a 1% reduction. I told him paying $9k plus refi cost would be a $15k refi for only $300/mo savings. It made no sense. He said he would make sure I skipped two months payment, saving $12k then saving $300/mo would mean I would break even from the refi in one year. We went forward with the refi. EVERYTHING was aimed at getting me to skip two months. He said we needed to close at the end of June so I could skip July and Aug payments. I've refinanced before and we've also closed at the end of the month to skip two payments. We closed June 24th and he told me my first payment would be Sept 1st. The notary went through 300 pages of closing docs in 10 minutes never mentioning the first payment date. I should've looked closer at the docs but I had no reason to think what we spoke about would be changed. He disappeared after the closing and I couldn't understand why. I needed to submit my tax docs to him and he couldn't be reached for two weeks. Then I got a notice in the mail that my first payment was due in August. After all the promise of skipping two months, they put on the closing docs for me to only skip one month. I finally got a hold of him after emailing I would report him to BBB and he completely denied ever promising me two months payment being skipped. He had the nerve to say I could've skipped two months payment if i closed July 1st but I chose to close June 24th. It was HIS idea. Why would I choose to only skip one payment instead of two just to close one week sooner? He ripped me off of $6k I really needed. What's worse is he is specifically targeting disabled veterans, promising them the world then switching paperwork on them at the closing table and having you sign, sign, sign quickly so you don't catch it.

      This company promised so many things to get us to refinance with them. There were so many inconsistencies and red flags and I shouldve livened to my gut, but the banker was so convincing. We were told they were going to pay off a total of 8 debts, wed get $20k cash back, our credit score would go up to over 700, told that missing checks were mailed out, told us not to pay certain creditors, first payment would be due on 8/1/23, etc. all of these things told to us were FALSE! When I contacted the business I got no response back for days. When I finally revived contact I was told that the banker I was dealing with (*******) was no longer with the company. I asked the manager named ****** about everything that ******* told to me and he was NO HELP. He didnt really seem to care about the falsehoods I was told by his then employee. We were promised things that anyone would go with and they DID NOT DELIVER! I have text and email correspondence proving all of this. I made ****** aware and his exact words to me were what ******* told you doesnt matter. Needless to say if I knew then what I know now we wouldve run the other way!

      I have a 750 credit score, good income, money in savings and own my own land. Things were going smooth, paid for appraisal, and then all of a sudden got a we can't help you, bye. Little to no communication. No alternatives such as we can't do this convential loan for you but let's try something else. No $ back from appraisal or application fee. Heart wrenching, being a single mom and living in a camper due to demoing old home after he initially told me, I was approved and we would close. This mortgage lender (*****************) has no heart. He's completely out for the $. Btw ... Went to another bank and quickly was approved. Do NOT deal with this bank.
