      I purchased tickets in May VIA GROUPON to The Offspring, Sum 41, and Simple Plan. We were meeting up with other friends who also bought tickets via Groupon. I pulled up my Groupon and my 4 tickets all stated "refunded." I checked my email and no such notification from Groupon was sent letting me know of this cancellation. I can't call Groupon (no working customer service number) so I try their live chat. They said the merchant cancelled my tickets. I call USANA. They say Groupon cancelled my tickets because they over sold. If it was an inventory issue why wouldn't they cancel tickets for the more recent purchases rather than tickets purchased months ago? I asked Groupon to talk to a manager and they have stopped responding. I opened a second live chat ticket with Groupon. A live person comes within 5 minutes. I re-explained the issue. Asked for merchant contact information and asked for a groupon phone number. They never responded. So 2 live chats in and they won't talk to me. So this is Groupon's fault and they refuse to take responsibility. Terrible customer service, would not help me nor transfer me to someone who could, cancelled my tickets purchased in May, but did not cancel tickets of more recent ticket purchases (my friend purchased mid-July and gets hers), did not contact me about cancelling my tickets, would not take responsibility, and then straight up stopped responding to me and it's been over 1 hour. Oh also, when I asked for the merchant they said to contact " The Offspring with Sum 41 and Simple Plan: Let ************* Roll Tour" LOL!!! Okay....let's just go ahead and call The Offspring lol!

      5 stars 5 years ago, zero if allowed *************** deals are always inferior products that didn't sell on the open market, restaurant deals are often credits back. Refunds for Groupons on companies that closed were promised, but are difficult to obtain. Avoid this site.

      Wish I could leave no stars. They are pocketing people's money now. This company needs to be shut down. Their policy does not have a time frame for exchanging a voucher for groupon bucks, but yet they are refusing to allow people to trade in vouchers referring to a return policy that is completely different than their trade in policy. They have also taken down the trade in button so people are unable to trade in the vouchers themselves. They no longer have a contact phone to contact anyone either, and if you wish to speak to a supervisor or manager, they claim they escalate the situation then you don't hear from anyone acknowledging they are even a manager. Then you have to request a live chat only for reps to tell you wait for a manager who never responds as one then they end the live chat. Horrible service, horrible company, and they need to be shut down because now they are simply taking advantage and running off with people's money.

      AVOID Groupon! They take your money but the deal doesn't send out!I bought a deal as a guest (not logged in as an account). I never received the deal to activate it. When I tried to create an account to check the status, it says that it couldn't be created, so I contact support. All they said was that I violated terms and services and I couldn't create an account never stating what exactly I did wrong.

      I purchased 4 tickets for great wolf lodge thinking that Groupon has actual updates on availability on reservations. Once I purchased, the receipt stated that we need to confirm ***** hours prior with Great Wolf Lodge. I called Great wolf, they had no availability for the day I purchased on groupon. Groupon is a scam, they do not want to provide a refund so I had to file a dispute.

      They don't even deserve 1 star. What a mess! This company works and lives on stealing your money. They always finds some exclusions to not honour your coupon, cancel your Groupon, pay you back, etc. You can not call them. You can only chat with them and 9 out of 10 it's someone based in a call centre in ***** that helps you with poor understanding of the English language. Avoid at all costs!

      Horrible experience. Bought a package and tried to use my Groupon bucks and the order indeed shows 0 before the submission because of the Groupon bucks. However after the order was submitted, it went against my credit card. Have been trying to reach out to customer support, but no help was offered. Worst company ever. Basically, they have 0 support and how can such a company exist?

      Bought a Groupon for carpet cleaning. The company never answered or returned any of my calls after I left two voicemails. I contacted Groupon customer service three times, and they have failed to resolve this matter along with issuing a refund within 30 days.

      Groupon allowed me to purchase services from a company that is no longer open for business. When I contacted them for a refund, conveniently they show the groupon as redeemed. How can you redeem a groupon when you can't even schedule an appointment???? The Groupon cannot show as redeemed until the merchant scans the code. How can a merchant scan the code if they are not open??? I have not been able to get the merchant to answer their phone and they do not provide the ability to leave a voicemail. The last FB post from the merchant was back in 2020 and they have multiple phone numbers associated with them, none of which is a number that they answer upon personal investigation. I contacted Groupon the day I purchased the services for $358.00 and let them know that the number associated with **************************** just rings, no one answers and they do not have a voicemail. I even went by the location Groupon has for them and the address and space is a hair salon. Groupon is now telling me that they need an email from the merchant stating that I have not used their services in order to issue a refund. I have been telling them since July 28th that it's impossible to reach them, so not only did someone at Groupon change the status from "redeem" to "redeemed" but they are telling me to get something from a company that is not in business. This is a complete SCAM and I am now out $358.00. Groupon should be ashamed.

      I've been a Groupon Merchant for the 4 years and have used their marketing services. However we have encountered some issues over the year that we believe involve fraudulent activities by Groupon. With the assistance of Groupon staff we have documented instances where they altered contracts, mishandled customer payments for vouchers and failed to make correct payments for services rendered. We have even had to involve authorities due to threats made by some Groupon customers who have criminal records. These threats included violence towards our staff arson threats towards our business well as incidents of bank fraud and identity theft. Recently I had a conversation with someone named ********************************* who claimed to be from Groupon's *************************** Initially she tried to explain legal policies that apply in ******** (a different state than ours) but after educating her on business law, criminal law and cased documented trial results, she changed her story and simply stated that Groupon is just a marketing company, before abruptly ending the call (hanging up on me).During the last three weeks I have encountered a concerning issue with Groupon Corporate. It seems that their phone number is disconnected making it difficult for me to reach them. Despite my attempts to get in touch with their ******************** and provide evidence in the form of recorded calls and chats it appears that they have engaged in activities against customers who were trying to book massage services. Unfortunately they seem unwilling to address or resolve the fraud they committed or take responsibility, for the loss it has caused my business.
