      Buyer beware! Groupon is advertising services that cannot be fulfilled. They are creating Bait and Switch where you purchase a service and the service is no longer offered once you try to use it. Once Groupon has your money and you ask for a refund, they will only issue a credit to Groupon.

      Groupon isn't letting me use my Groupon Bucks to buy deals, essentially holding my money hostage. The chat associate claimed they'd escalate the issue, advised me to use another payment method, and I never heard back. My account still won't let me use my Bucks. This feels like a total scamtaking people's money without allowing access. Anyone else experience this?

      I purchased a voucher for a1 night stay at **************** the total came to $661. The next morning my mom passed and I tried to cancel it and get refunded as I was in a financial situation and needed every ***** to book a flight out of town and go bring my mom home for final resting place. They have consistently denied me saying that I was passed the cancellation point, I asked for a supervisor and explained my situation. I am still waiting for the email and I cant get a human on the phone. This experience has been so traumatic that I will never use them again and advise anyone who wants good customer support, to look past ********************** because you will not receive it! I feel almost as traumatized by dealing with them as much as losing my mom. Thats a pretty horrible feeling. Literally crying as I am posting this review!

      purchased a $25 voucher for a ***** membership. The fine print was conveniently hidden, and it wasn't until later when I received a receipt showing the purchase, where it said that it can't be used for a renewal. Another annoying and scamming part of their company is if you try to call customer service, you get several message offering discounts on various products. Never an option to speak to someone. When you try to leave a message with customer service on your phone or laptop, it's practically impossible because everything you enter gets an error message "wrong format". UGHHHHH. Someone needs to shut them down.

      I PURCHASED 4 GROUPONS FOR 4 REGAL MOVIE TICKETS WHICH MEANS I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN 16 MOVIE TICKETS. I COULD NOT USE ALL 16 TICKETS, AFTER I USED 3 OF THEM, IT SHOWED THE SAME VOUCHER NUMBER FOR THE ONES I ALREADY USED SO THEREFORE WHEN I TRIED TO USE IT, IT SAID THAT THE VOUCHER WAS ALREADY USED! I LOST MONEY AND WAS NOT ABLE TO USE MY VOUCHERS. IT WAS NOT NOTED THAT THERE WAS AN EXPIRATION DATE UNTIL AFTER I PURCHASED THEM SO I HAD MAYBE 4 WEEKS TO USE THEM! I ONLY USED 3 OF THEM WHICH I PAID $12.50 FOR EACH TICKET! WHAT A RIP-OFF! I AM SOOOO FRUSTRATED!

      Im reaching out regarding some ongoing challenges were facing with Groupon on the business side.We currently have an active Groupon offer, but theres no way for us to verify the legitimacy of a voucher through our customer management software (CMS). Ive requested that Groupon provide a method or API for us to validate vouchers through our CMS, but theyve declined.Ive also contacted our account manager, ***** ******, asking to be connected with someone who can help us resolve this issue. Unfortunately, he has not escalated the matter and seems to be functioning as a gatekeeper. Despite several attempts to reach someone elseby phone and through alternate emailseverything continues to route back to *** ******, who has been unable or unwilling to assist further.This lack of access to voucher validation is a serious issue. Weve already encountered cases of fake Groupons, which are damaging to our business. In addition, if there is even a minor typo in the code we submit for redemption, the payment is denied and we receive no compensation for that customer.Were truly at our wits end and would appreciate any assistance or guidance you can offer to help us move this forward. We want to continue offering deals through Groupon, but we need a more reliable and secure system in place to protect both our business and our customers.Thank you for your time and help.

      I had the same negative experience with Groupons **************** product as others have shown on this site. It is the most frustrating experience that Ive ever had, since dial up internet service!

      Absolute trash. Businesses use this platform to make people think theyre getting a deal. But in reality youre basically paying the EXACT same price except you look like an IDIOT because you think youre getting a good deal. Contact the business directly or print off a coupon. Groupon give me back my money

      I use to like Groupon. No more. Tried to get a refund when I tried to use the Groupon I purchased and the company wouldn't accept it. They said "so sorry but your past the refund date by 2 days". After much back and forth and me telling them this is bad business they gave me a refund of "Groupon Bucks". After reading all the bad reviews below I'm not optimistic. Not to mention I now have to risk getting something else from them after this bad experience. :-(
