    Eligo is the worst Energy company and if a representative contacts you please hang up as they are price gougers. They get you in with cheap introductory rates and then once the contract is up you don't get notification and the rates then start to fluctuate. I didn't catch this till the first time I turned my furnace on when I received a $421.67 bill for energy. When I called Consumers Energy, and they informed me that I wasn't a customer of theirs and I was being charged $14.49 per unit compared to Consumers $5.18 per unit. As I read the other complaints it seems like we all have the same issue and looks like price gouging. Could this be a class action lawsuit?

    Do not use. My Dad had a bill for $1,500 & $800 per month in the summer. After many calls I was given various excuses; we must have had a pool; you keep the air on all the time; we don't know why . There was no actual readings during covid and they estimated the past 4 months.I sent the complaint to NY **************** of ************** and filed a claim.Eligo responded - said it would be expedited; and later sent a link regarding the outcome. We were not able to create a new account - you had to log in and it wouldn't let ********* responded to our concern and refunded $700 and admitted they made a mistake .My Dad is 85; after we cancelled ELIGO - they called my Dad and a rude, extremely pushy salesman said that ****** does not provide the electric and that Eligo was the only one my dad could use; he didn't know better and signed back up with them. Which of course I had to go back and cancel.

    If I could give no stars, I would. This company should be shut down. They sucker innocent people to switch with an introductory rate and then in the next months, they charged triple the amounts with the same usage. They hope you forget about it which is what happened to me. First month was around $200 which was a saving of $400 but then month 2 and 3, they charged over $700 and $800. Glad I caught it and switched right away. I was told by the salesperson that it will balance out in the end which that was not the case at all as you can see. Never, never again. They should be ashamed of themselves for cheating people out of their money.

    Please do not sign up with this Company. They sign you up for three months for a lower rate and once contract expires, they increase rate three times higher. Agent ******** gave me her office phone number to contact her if I had any questions but when I call, I get busy signal. I was also told they will send me an email or call me before the end of the contract. Never heard from them. When I called ELIGO to cancel my service with them, agent told me it will take one to two months before I see the change. They increased rate from $4.99 to $14.49. I was given cancellation confirmation number but have not received confirmation email as agent had told me. I have been trying to contact ELIGO, I get message your call cannot be completed at this time. ??????

    Do not use this company. Their goal is to sign people on at an introductory rate and hope you forget about it so they can charge obscene amounts, over the legal limit allowed.They increased my rates to triple the standard rate without notification, and the rates consistently go up month after month.I received a call from H3*373837313438353633H's customer service manager saying they do not legally have to notify me of rate increases unless they increase rates 3 months in a row, and they can legally charge up to 30% over supplier rates.So what they did was increase my rates to the **** * months in a row, then take a month off, then increase another * months, etc. She also admitted that they had illegally increased my rates and offered a small credit of $*00. This hardly offsets my bills which were up to $950 some months.

    Eligo sells electric as a third party vendor, and represents that they will save you money on your electric bills. The first couple of months they were competitive with our local **************** Services, but each month after that the price per KWH has increased to the point that our electric bills have doubled, tripled and in some cases 4 times as much as any other period for these businesses in the past 12 month period. We have only had them for 6 months and our electric bills are astronomical. This company is fraudulent in its' representation of what they offer and how they sell their serices, and the prices they are charging is criminal. They should be investigated across the board on all of their customers. We signed all 6 of our businesses up with this company trying to save money and as an example our electric bill for one of our companies went from an average of $ **** to our last bill is $ *****. This company needs to be shut down and should be made to reimburse all the customers they have taken advantage of and basically have frauded and stole money from.************************* representing ***** Cleat, LLC

    Your company will not leave me alone! Getting smart mouth and then left then he went up and down my mobile home beating on it! I called the police. I have high anxiety and ptsd. Now I'm scared he will come back. They have been to my house 8 times! I have no trespassing signs up. He said that wasn't good enough I need to put up a no solicit sign. When entering my mobile home it has two signs no trespassing no solicitation private property. I only rated this place one star if I could give it a nothing I would. I would not have your services for all the money in the world now. HARRASMENT. I will *** this company

    I can tell you my experience. Eligo Energy called me and was giving me their rates of **** cents per KWH. My first bill came for July and used 600 KW bill was for $79.38. They charged me **** cents as they promised. My 2nd month (Aug) my bill just arrived and I used 429 KW and the Bill was $144.79. I looked a little further and they changed their rate from **** cents to **** cents/KWH.This in my opinion is complete fraud and ************** "go with us our rate is **** cents." then change it to what ever they want after the first month because they got you now. I'm sorry but **** cents per KWH is highway robbery If I could rate negative I would. Buyers beware is all I can say

    My electric bills have been quite high for a while now, I know prices have gone up, and assumed everyone was paying such high prices. Come to find out, Eligo is my primary source, not Peco. I called to inquire and was told Peco must of contracted them August 2018, which I do remember getting a letter at which time I promptly called and told them I did not switch and was told I would bd diverted back to Peco. Time went on, life got busy and admittingly I forgot to look again, just assuming it was switched. Eligo records show that I cancelled September 2018, but was never switched back to Peco. The past 6 mths or so I have noticed a substantial increase, $875 a month the most recent when my highest in years past was $400. Someone posted a PSA for everyone to check who was providing their energy bc they were scammed snd lo and behold I have been paying 3x the amount of Peco prices bc I was out of contract. Mind you, I never signed up for anything and was fraudulently switched. I am easily out thousand of dollars and no one will assist me in correcting this.
