Do not do business with this predatory company.!!! I had a 36 month contract with them as my electrical supplier. I failed to notice that my contract was expiring and they charged me over 19cents per KWH ! Now I have another month of this before my account is with ************************ at 5.6 cents per KWH. How can they justify that rate? I have talked with this company and they "reviewed" my account and the representative just kept repeating that it was in my contract from 36 months ago and on my present electric bill. Wish I would have seen it. Wish they would have sent me a letter that it was expiring. I think that by not contacting me via separate letter was contrived on their part. It is middle of winter in ******* keep the thermostat on 60. My bill past month was almost $800.00 . Wonder what it will be this month? Shame on them!!Eligo Energy, LLC

This is not an honest company. They are absolutely crooks! The first 2 months they saved me $8. The next 6 month they cheated me out of over $300. Should be put out of business!!!Eligo Energy, LLC

I wish I could leave no stars !DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ELIGO,This company is the absolute worst! They are price gougers for sure . They are liars and cheats as well . I missed a deadline one time and got a very high bill, I called Eligo and was informed my contract was up , so I renewed and got that taken care of . I swore right then and there to never let that happen again, and I didnt ! I called them every time before the renewal date to renew so I wouldnt need up with a large bill again. This time I called ,Eligo at (470) which I find out is not eligo they are contractors ,I spoke to agent ID #*** . We have the conversation about my energy and they find a different company called Direct energy that has a better rate then eligo and it s good for a year and its a fixed rate I sign up for that ! Then November come around we get a high bill ,December an even higher bill ,I call consumers energy and find out that I am paying OVER twice the amount consumers is charging right now! This has been going on since March of 2022 almost a year ! I call eligo at and they say I havent had a contract with them since March of 2022 . Convenient I cancel with them immediately! I call the number and the post card I got( and get every time at renewal time) and spoke with agent #***** says he cant help so, I call direct energy they never had me as a customer! The are cheats and liars and price gourgers! I have turned them into MPSC( ******** *************************) ! I am waiting to hear back from them.Eligo Energy, LLC

This company needs to be closed down for fraud. They initially gave me a me a competitive rate for natural gas. They never informed me that this was an introductory rate and this rate would triple in a couple months. I received back to back invoices that were thru the roof. When I went on the ******** gas rate website to compare suppliers, Eligos rates were extremely overpriced compared to others. They are charging over $14 per mcf when other suppliers are charging $5. I received a call from this company( Eligo Energy), thinking its my Consumer Energy I have had for past 20years and offering me rate just a tab lower then last year to try for a month stating its energy saving so on so forth . Never did they state companies name, after rate was discussed sales person said try it for month and we will send you letter to make consent for a long term I found out 8 months later I have been switch without my knowledge to this Eligo Energy company and I would continue to probably never to find out if my three past bills didnt came triple the price from what o was paying years back. It raised my concerns after 3rd bill came four times more. So I called consumer Energy thinking ok something is not right . Their representative said I have been switch over and gave me number of this company. When I called with concern and I addressed what I came to find out they just said we will submit that you are canceling our service no explanation to why I was switched over without my consent to it. I will file a dispute I will track down all I have to have this right . You cant just do this and mislead, give false information and get away with it!Eligo Energy, LLC

Eligo outbound sales callers are TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS - they say they are with ComEd and and they MUST talk to the person in charge of the account and they leave a call back number.When you call the person who answers does not identify who the company is and and says "Oh, ***** (or whoever left the message for you) is with another customer but I can help you) with the re-pricing of your electricity that has been approved for your area." THEY NEVER INDICIATE WHO THEY ARE AND THAT THEY ARE NOT COMED.Eligo Energy, LLC

If I could give no stars I would.. this is a predatory company that prays on low income and the elderly. They trick you with a phone call into changing from your normal gas company with the ruse of being cheaper. When in reality their cost is double or even triple the going rate.. this company needs to be stopped.Eligo Energy, LLC
