      Never ever have I received an order on time. They delay and delay and hope $5 credit will fix it. Do NOT use these people

      Grubhub boldly scams customers. At some restaurants, they'll have a special offer advertising 40% off an order above $24. Then in the fine print, it says the discount is capped at $2. This means the discount is 10% or less, depending on how much you spend, and the 40% off is a complete lie. I am shocked at how boldly they're scamming customers with this teaser rate. It's legitimately a brazen lie. I'm writing this review because I'm shocked at the audacity it takes to lie to the customer's face this blatantly.

      Searched for a local restaurant on the site. Went to order without realizing that grubhub had given me a location that was in another county, not the one right up the road from my house. Realized immediately after placing the order. Immediately tried to cancel online but wasnt allowed. Called the restaurant and wasnt allowed to cancel. Contacted customer service and was told I wasnt allowed to cancel. I expressed my concern that the location was too far away to receive the food in an edible condition and a safe temperature.Was still not allowed to cancel. Was made to wait for the food. When it arrived it was cold and watery like I expected. Contacted customer service again, asking for a refund. Was repeatedly denied a refund, only credit towards future orders. So I would have to spend even MORE money with them. Argued until I was promised additional credits close to the cost of the food, but not completely covering it. Was not satisfied with the result and the credits I was promised were not added to my account, only the original $10 they offered me. There was no reason they couldnt cancel my order with how quick I was to catch the issue, they just refused. No reason they couldnt refund my money, they just refused. The credits were an insult, they just want me to spend even more money with them. Terrible website, terrible policy, terrible customer service!

      Extremely disappointed by spending almost $40. Didn't get 2 of thr 3 items and the 1 item I received is inedible. I was offered a $5 credit (which I am not going to be able to utilize, based off of where I actually live) and only a refund for the 'missing items'.

      DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND DATA My order never arrived. The get help link in app doesn't work. I emailed customer support who took several days to respond. They refused to issue a refund because more than 48 hours had passed. But that time elapsed was the time they spent ignoring my support request. It's not worth fighting them over. They make their money by selling our data anyway, I'll just delete my data and use **** eats.

      After not receiving items (clearly shown in orders and clearly not in the photo the driver took of the delivery) and cold food because it took an HOUR to deliver fast food, I've been told by the useless chat and over the phone customer service I can hardly understand because they're nowhere in the ***, because of my ONE refund years ago from their driver blatantly disappearing, that I won't get a refund because of an "unusually high amount of refunds" my account (most certainly did not) get.. this company is a scam with drivers who are entirely incapable of doing their simple job correctly. Never using them again. I recommend no one else does either unless you like cold food and paying for things you won't get!

      My food order several times has went from like 30 minutes to close to two hours...won't let you cancel, food is cold, no refund. Absolute garbage of a delivery service and horrible customer service

      Absolutely unacceptable. I placed an order, the delivery person did not care to check the details of the order so not only gave me wrong items, the driver also claimed the store was "out of stock" of a primary and secondary choice. Upon physical review of the store there were plenty of both of the items in stock, the delivery personnel just did not care to add the items to my order. The location was examined in person within minutes of the delivery person saying they were out of stock of both the primary and secondary options. I contacted customer service, who claimed to have issued a refund that will take 3-5 days to process. The customer service representative ********************* had me hold stating "Please allow me to check what I can do as I partner with my Manager. Hold on, please.". I was offered a $7.00 GrubHub credit. What about the MULTIPLE items? Why should I be expected to wait 3-5 business days due to a driver's incompetence? GrubHub's service is the worst service of all of the delivery options. Please avoid this company unless absolutely necessary. They do not care about their customers and when given an opportunity to correct the problem they really don't care about retaining their customers either.
