      I'm on my 2nd pair of MD Hearing aids. The first set lasted a little over 2 years and were great. The 2nd set I purchased are no where near the quality of the first set. Neither the hearing aids, nor the case that charges them are the same quality as the first set. With technology getting better, it's sad that the quality has gone the opposite direction.

      I tried a pair of MD Hearing Volt (h) for 7 months and do not recommend them. The right ear unit stopped working after about 4 months of use and never worked again even when showing fully charged. The left ear unit still works about 90% of the time but just goes off for no reason sometimes for 15 seconds and sometimes 10 minutes. Calling support after the 45 day refund period they tell you it is only because you have not bought a $35 new set of tubing & tips every 90 days because ********** from your body clog them and the hearing aid. I keep my tubing and tips absolutely clean every day....Hmmm...why would the unit not even turn on???? Anyway if you get an RMA number from them it will cost you $89 per unit to clean and return to customer. Not gonna happen to me again. I will use the one that still partially works till it finally dies. Being my first pair of hearing aids the sound is kinda tinny and the Volt (h) would probably work better with the "closed comfort-tips" as the unit does not filter out background noises very well on any setting but number 4. Sadly I really did want to like the MD Hearing Volt (h) but can not endorse the units.

      While the hearing aid I purchased did not work for me, the **************** Rep was very understanding and I had a complete refund in just a couple days after returning. The product failed to meet my needs but the customer service was very good.

      This five star rating is for service received while getting started with over the ear hearing aids for my 93 year old mom. Very impressed with the communication from chat to product descriptions to articles helping with setup and FAQs. I feel someone cares as if my mom and we caregivers, have a positive experience.

      This was an easy purchase experience, and the price is very reasonable for the Volt on sale. They followed up by email to make sure I was installing the hearing aids properly by reviewing a photo I took of my ear with a hearing aid in place. They phoned back with suggestions to improve utilization. I have had Volts now for 6 weeks and found them to work well and quality seems to be fine. I have phoned once (in the middle of the week) on a service question and found their response was fine. They actually can take a call back number and I received a return call within an hour. Recharging has been trouble-free and there has always been enough charge for the day.

      MD Hearing Volt series ********* are reliable, light weight, comfortable with excellent rechargeable battery life. The device pair is reasonably priced for OTC basic hearing aids. Companys web site and online ordering is good - the replacement part searching is difficult to navigate.

      NOTE: This is an unsolicited review.Since first contacting the MDHearing organization in early June 2023, there are two main points that stand out in the on-going communications: 1) MDHearing is driven by a clear and sincere Mission, and the mission is to improve the quality of life for people with hearing impairments by providing a variety of technology-advanced hearing aid options that are absolutely affordable; and, 2) **************** advances the Mission, with outstanding telephone support (have not spoken yet with a rep who was grumpy, impatient, or disinterested), and excellent visual media presentations. This doctoral-degree-in education holder may have some expertise to say that the videos are extremely helpful, concise, and well done. Short, to the point, and effective. The continuing education that the videos provide is spot-on. Mission accomplished. Thank you, and keep up the good work! I thank you for my Mom, as well.

      MDHearing is a wonderful company to work with. Their customer service is amazing, when you call you get a live person who is easy to understand, and helps walk you through any problems. Exchanging or returning is very easy as well. The first pair of aids did not work well for my mother but they were able to exchange them for an over the ear set and she is so happy with them. Just as good as the hearing aids you get from a clinic!
