My name is **** M ******, **** ****** is my Mother, I have Power Of Attorney on her. Im trying to get her help due to her failing health. Im trying to get her service with AR Home thru ****************************. They are requesting the policies that she is paying for and Kemper Life would not give them to her. I have been requesting this information for over 6 months. *** has denied her due to Kemper had told me that they will send the policies and they never did. I had ask several times. I was told that she was the beneficiary not the policy holder. I then said but you all call me every month and I pay you. The fire policy is in my deceased Dads name and they would need to speak with him. Like I had told he passed away 5 years ago and that my Moms name is on the house. Theres also a policy on my Brother whose is mentally unstable why was the policy put in his name instead of of my Moms name. Please help so I can get my Mother some help. She is in need of this help. I have been paying for home insurance for the past 3 years and where I live we got hit with a major hail storm and now that I filed a claim ,they come out with that windows and roof are not covered. So in other words I was deceived by the salesman at that time because I was never told that because if I had been informed of that I would have never gotten the insuranceBusiness Response

I was rear ended 4/27/25 in the accident it was my elderly mother , my 13 month old grandson and myself , I place the claim to this insurance , the communication went from ok to nothing at all .. I am still having body injuries I took a law firm that was not very good , so I decided to drop them cause I didn't wanted to deal with them .. so I decided to try to get settled with the ins , I have still not heard from them in over a week ,. I need my rental expense to be reimbursed , I need the injury claim people to reach out , Im still pending the diminished value response . My car had over $10k in damages .. the kids car seats have not yet been replaced either ,.. we are driving around two kids with out of compliance car seats one for a 14 month old and the 6 year old , I have left messages , emails , text and nothing to ***** **** ***** , ***** ***** and some ***** that never calls back. I need an answer this people forget that we have jobs just like them . I need answers and need to get paid back .Business Response

My car was in a car accident and the other driver was at fault the insurance that is paying for the damage of my car is Kemper Insurance and they have giving my the run around. My car has been ready to pick up since last week and the body shop Classic Collision has sent the insurance the final invoice, picture on Friday of last week and they have only received one check but they are still missing payment from my car and also for them to approve the final voice. The Body Shop stated that they have been waiting for Kemper Insurance so I can go get me car in the meantime I have to be taking **** to work and still pay for my car and insurance without having my car. I need help because I have called the Kemper Insurance and spoke to Naya ****** which is rude and not professional at all she is no help.Business Response

My 2021 DODGE CHARGER was insured by KEMPER when it was stolen back in October 2024 from right in front of my home. We supplied them with the police report, along with a ton of other unnecessary, sensitive and privacy invading info they requested like phone records and location history. In the end they knew we were not involved and still denied the claim due to "wear & tear" which doesn't even make sense because THE CAR WAS STOLEN!! On top of all this they were also trying to say that the car was never fixed from a previous accident 6 months prior to when it was stolen when we clearly sent them pictures that were time stamped/ dated when we added the car onto our policy.Kemper asked us to turn in all the keys to the vehicle and we did months ago, and now theyre trying to flat out deny our claim.Business Response

On 12/13/24 an individual insured by Kemper Insurance crashed into my vehicle while backing out of a parking space. Police was summoned and they received a citation. I called their claim department in order to get my vehicle repaired. After spending almost an hr on the phone providing all information being requested, I was told they needed to "investigate" to see who was at fault and this could take up to 30 days. It's been nearly 6 months since the accident and no payment has been rendered. I've called & spoken to the adjuster (Latera) assigned to this case who is EXTREMELY rude & unprofessional numerous times, left messages to no avail. Her VM states she would return the call the same day or within the following business day which is untrue. My calls normally get returned a wk later. The last time I was able to spoke to this individual she proceeded to tell me if I wasn't happy with the process & how long it would take that I was free to go thru my insurance to get my vehicle repaired - which is absurd. I think I've been patient enough waiting nearly 6 months to get this resolved to no avail. I would appreciate the assistance in getting this resolved so that I can repair the damages caused by their insured.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:As of today, June 17, 2025, my claim remains unresolved, despite being filed over six months ago. The adjuster assigned to this case, Literra Booker, consistently failed to respond to my calls over an extended period. It wasn’t until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) that I received any communication—at which point the adjuster informed me a check had been mailed.
When I finally received the check, I was shocked to find that my name was misspelled, making it impossible to cash. This is inexcusable given that the adjuster had access to the police report containing the correct information. I again attempted to reach the adjuster, leaving several messages over three days, all of which were ignored.
I escalated the issue to the adjuster's supervisor, Mike Irvin, who took two additional days to return my call. He acknowledged the error and claimed a corrected check would be issued, but stated this would take "several days." This delay—on top of an already six-month wait—is unacceptable.
This experience has highlighted a disturbing level of incompetence, unresponsiveness, and lack of accountability. The behavior of this company and its representatives is unprofessional and appears to be part of a broader pattern of delay tactics aimed at avoiding timely claim resolution. Given that fault was clearly established in the police report, this matter should have been resolved months ago.
I am requesting immediate action to finalize this claim. Furthermore, I urge regulators to investigate this company’s practices, as I fear many others may have been forced to resolve similar issues on their own due to these ongoing failures.

I am rejecting this response because:I am writing to formally express my continued frustration and concern regarding the handling of my insurance claim by Kemper Insurance. Despite repeated assurances, as of today, June 25, 2025, I still have not received payment for the damages related to my claim.
Most recently, I was told that a reissued check had been sent via 2nd-day priority mail, yet no tracking number was provided to verify this. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. Given the numerous delays and inaccurate information previously provided, this situation appears to be part of a broader pattern of mismanagement or negligence.
I am formally requesting a full investigation into how this claim has been handled to ensure compliance with insurance regulations and ethical standards of claim resolution. It is my sincere hope that this matter can be resolved without the need for further escalation, but I am prepared to file a complaint with the Department of Insurance, and other consumer protection entities if necessary.Please consider this a final opportunity to resolve this matter promptly and professionally.
