      These guys send deceptive mailers to scare old people that look like ***************** terminations. Its underhanded, sleazy and designed to look like government mailers.

      *********************** from ************* ** came on my property ignored a no soliciting sign and then stayed on my property in her car. I informed her I was not interested but she insisted that my husband (who lives in a nursing home) sent her. I told her to get off my property and she responded that I should have an awful day because I was not nice to her. I want nothing to do with bankers life.

      I got an annuity with Bankers, intending to keep it for the long ********* circumstances changed that. When I requested ( rep from investment company ), to surrender and move, they were difficult, slow, and poor to communicate. Would not speak in person to rep., took 3 letters and 3 months still waiting for release of MY funds!!

      Very unprofessional someone had to come out to my house took my original death cert. so they can make a copy branch manager never called and I always got a answering machine. I never did get a phone call. Now a long time has passed I still haven't heard anything. Are they still in business who knows very unhappy with their service.

      We bought a Universal Life Policy 27 years ago. We were told that after 11 years of paying the premium that the policy would pay for itself. Boy was that a load of c*** We received our first "FINAL WARNING" notice 4 or 5 months ago telling us we needed to send in a check for $200+ to keep the policy financially stable. We received another "FINAL NOTICE" a month ago telling us we needed to send another check to them for roughly the same amount to keep our policy current. We received an email stating that we would have to pay triple the original premium to keep the policy in force. Both being on a fixed income, this is going to put a financial burden on our already tight budget. Thanks Bankers Life for having our backs. You have made our GOLDEN YEARS tarnished. If I knew then what I know now, I would have put the $20,000.00 plus into an account I could have trusted. My mattress comes to mind.

      Applied for this position recently and have gone in twice of interviews and all. DO NOT apply if you do not have at least 7K saved up. If you don't make a sale in 3 weeks, you are working for FREE. there is no base pay, only commission. They are also TOO AFRAID to have anything in documents like emails in regards to the truth of your employment. It's even worse when the manager (J.R.) who I spoke to was named in the reviews on how he doesn't provide the whole truth when it comes to working for Bankers Life. If a customer cancels the policy within a year, you OWE them the money back, and if you spent it, well you're screwed. It's NOT your money, it's the companies. Don't go into this company unless you plan on working 60+ hours and not get paid for 2 weeks.

      Bankers Life ************** Insurance is absolutely criminal. Both my grandparents bought this policy and paid into it for over 20 years. This insurance takes advantage of people and does not have informed consent to what they are actually paying for. When it comes to actually utilizing the insurance and getting the care they need they had to basically be on their deathbed. My grandmother was never even able to use the benefits and my grandfather was had to pay so much more into it before being able to even use a small portion. They make it so difficulty to navigate and are incredibly unhelpful. The fact that they sell this insurance even now should be investigated. Awful! Should have an option for no stars.

      I was recruited by Bankers Life in ********, **. I was only there for 6 months and during those 6 months, my experience was less then good. Knocking on stranger's doors is a good way to get shot in my opinion but that is what they want you to do! They withheld $1000 from my pay for policy cancelations. When I left, Iw as told that I would receive that money back minus any cancelation fees. In October, I received a letter stating that I owed them money. In the letter, there was a phone number. When I called the number, there was only a message, you couldn't leave a message or talk to anyone. In the message, there was an email address. I sent emails to that address, numerous times, and they were all returned saying "invalid". I called the office in ******** and spoke to an administrator and she said she would contact someone. I was asking for a statement showing the accounting of where the $1000 went and why I owe money. I also stated from the beginning that I would pay the money when I had the information. She did get back to me and left a message that I would be receiving a statement. I did receive a statement but It was the last statement from my employment there and still showed a full $1000 credit. I then received another letter again asking me to pay money or they would report me and it would affect my credit rating. I have a good rating so I would never do anything to adversely affect it. Again, the phone number only gave an email and again the email was invalid. There was a FAX number so I sent a FAX dated 12/4/2023. In the **** I stated that I was willing to pay but wanted accounting to show where the $1000 went. I heard nothing until the week of the 18th when I was contacted by collection agency. I paid the money and still have no idea of why I owed money or where my credit of $1000 went. I think that customers should go elsewhere for employment or their insurance needs! Thank you.

      FEELS LIKE A SCAM BUYERS BEWARE..............3 reviews prior to this one I am writing this office and company feels like a SCAM. The online hours say open Tuesdays and Fridays 8:30AM-5:00PM as they are closed Sat/Sun/Mon/Wed/Thur odd for an insurance company but I was told the employees are **** contractors(By ***** The Administrator in Dover I guess).My agent was ************************* whom called me multiple times before I finally made an appointment(I told her upfront that I was a veteran and had medical diagnosis of PTSD and other conditions and she said no problem) well she and another lady whom I was told was training came to my home did my application, about 2 weeks later a lady came from a 3rd party contractor with no ID and took blood and urine from me for the life insurance application. Well that was in Nov and I have texted/email Codi multiple times most with no reply or once her voicemail was full, when I did get her on the phone it was the "HOME OFFICE" will call you I am sure well today 12/29 "THE HOME OFFICE" had not reached out to me so I told CODI to cancel my application which seems to be moving faster than everything else I did to try and obtain insurance with the company. Long Story Short PEOPLE BEAWARE these people feel like SCAMMERS and what proof will I have that my application with all of my personal information will be destroyed NONE!!!!

      Worst company ever cant get paid for my mothers home healthcare pay sent paperwork in constantly and they say they never get it. Please dont ever use their company. All they do is rip people off Im out $12,000 as of right now or may be a little bit more.
