      *********************. ******* **, 38126.They accept no medical record. The price is $9. 95 with no medical questions. I, *********************, inform them that I, *********************, have bipolar. The representative reported that the life insurance will be like $35 dollars a month. I am on social security, I have a limited income. I am 61 years old. I feel ******************* is reporting fraud on the *** I have call them, they will not contact their supervisor. I have made several calls when I ask the question, they hang up on me.

      If I could give no stars I would. They say no doctor but what they don't tell you is, soon as you give your ssi num they look up your pharmacy 2 yrs. Their commercial is a MAJOR lie.

      My uncle put his whole trust into them and they stole his money the day he died! He was caught up on all payments and when he died of lung cancer, they said he OWED THEM MONEY. They are awful scam artists looking to take advantage of the old and dying.

      The agent, *************************** and a male partner whom I did not get a name, showed up at my door without an appointment, asking for my wife and didn't even know my wife's correct name. I asked her how she knew my wife and what she wanted with her. ******** stated that my wife had contacted her to discuss ******** Insurance. My wife works in the insurance industry, so I knew instantly that ******** was lying to me. I then asked her if she was soliciting anything, and she said no she was there just to advise my wife. I informed her that our subdivision has a sign at the entrance that says, "No Solicitation". Obviously, it was ignored. Again, I asked her what she was selling, and she said they were not selling anything. Her partner also stated they were not selling anything. I asked her for her business card which she provided; her partner did not have one. I told her my wife was working and when she got home, I would pass on the information. When my wife arrived home, she said she had not contacted anyone about ******** insurance, let alone Bankers Life. I feel that Bankers Life's approach was extremely unprofessional! To show up on my doorstep acting like they have an established connection with a family member to try to gain entry.After I had spoken with my wife, I called ******** and asked her why she lied to me. She denied it and tried to say that she did not say my wife had contacted her. Now she is changing her story. She tried to talk over me and I told her I wanted the name and number of her manager as I was going to report her. She provided her managers name, *************************, and his personal cell number. I hung up and called him. I explained to him what had taken place and he defended ********, and said she did not lie to me, and denied they were not soliciting business. I was not going to argue with him as he had made his position quite clear.I do not appreciate their underhanded, lying tactics to try to gain business!I said I was reporting them to the BBB.

      I too am sickened by the constant run around. My brother has been in a long term care facility for over six months. Recently had his leg amputated. Between the business office and myself submitting documentation over and over....escalating to a supervisor, all assurances by the phone reps have fallen by the waist side. Lies about his case being expedited to underwriting have been excessive. It looks like legal action will be our only recourse.

      I've been trying to cash out my life insurance with Colonial Penn because I have gone with another carrier. Colonial Penn customer services is giving me the run around. I see by the complaints registered with the BBB, that I'm not the only customer who has had problems with ********************** Penn.

      Bankers Life reps cold call anyone who is lucky enough to reach traditional retirement age. Their repeated soliciting is harassment. I do not buy anything door-to-door and do NOT want sales people targeting my home. With all the complaints on this site, I have no idea why BBB gives them such a good rating. Do these sales reps have an ***** peddler's permit? GO AWAY.

      Horrible to deal with in filing claims. Constantly resubmitting in formation they claim they didn't get. I have been helping my parents for months to file for my mother and it's been a virtual nightmare designed to be obstructive and confusing. It's as if they want you to throw your hand's up in the air and give UP. And if it weren't for me taking care of it, my 80 year old father probably would have by now. Took over a month for them to even give us claim form and it's been one thing after another since. Asking for information multiple times, inconsistent fax numbers, snail mailing things and you name it. Buyer beware and be sure to read reviews on them all. This is by far medical records least favorite company to deal with. I would love to know all the poor elderly people who do not have anyone to assist them in this despicable journey. If I were a betting person, I would place a bet they have many members that just gave up and Bankers Life mad a FORTUNE on them all. Shame on them. Meanwhile my father is paying out of pocket for daily caregiving as mom is now non ambulatory. If you have these folks for your insurance, look into hospice options to assist as that is paid by ******** and at least there will be more assistance. I have been working in insurance for 40 years and have never felt more disgusted dealing with this horrible customer service. It has caused undue stress to my father and I who are dealing with an Alzheimer's loved one and the grief we feel daily. I can only imagine how much longer we are going to have to deal with this before we get results. No care for the people who need it the most. As a person who works with elderly and deprived authorizations for care, it saddens me that now my parents are victims of this nonsense after paying for this for years. Horrible. I would give no stars if I could, but cannot place the complaint if I don't **** at least one.

      No better agent than ***************************!***** has now been my agent for years and I would recommend him to anyone. ***** is very knowledgeable, patient and overall looks out for your best interest. I recommended ***** to my parents and family friends and they are all happy with the services and products he offers. ***** is a one stop shop for all your retirement needs. Give him a call, you won't regret it!
