Every job offer I have received through CareerBuilder has been a scam. I verified one scam by contacting the company I received an e check from. The accounting **** confirmed the check was fraudulent although it did contain their true account information. Had I followed the instructions without question, I would have deposited a fraudulent check, submitted a screenshot confirming the mobile deposit (providing my banking info), and eventually giving their HR department with info for direct deposit. Every job offer I have received has been a similar scam.

CareerBuilder has been breached! And millions of peoples information and resumes have been stolen- I'M SURE!!!All of my information that I had on their site previously, is no longer there. They are creating the illusion that I need to set up a new account- when in fact- I do not. I had all of my info intact on their site, now its no longer there!!!They need to be prosecuted and sued, for illegally stealing peoples information.

I used to use Career Builder back in the day, all the time. And it was legitimate. Now I have been scammed by four different companies coming from them, and you've got to be careful because they will get your information, and they will be real and look legitimate. One company said that they were ************. One company said that they were, *******, another company, said that they were KB homes, and they are very convincing. I almost gave them my personal ID and documentation to fill out because I was hired through them. Be very careful!!!! also. they try to use teams as their way of conversing with you. Do not use Career Builder. ********* teams are using that as the go-to for scamming.

CareerBuilder has not provided any ROI. When we requested to cancel our subscription, they stated that we can not cancel for a full year, even though the contract states a 90-day written notice to cancel. Terrible product, revolving door of account reps. ******** waste of money.

Similar to other complaints, I have found my information has apparently been sold off. I receive several calls from what sounds like an offshore call center, very aggressively pursuing me to the point of suspicious activity. Resource Logistics is the name of the company in my specific experience contacting me, but declared I was found through Career Builder.Additionally, a few years ago I had tested Career Builder for a recruitment gig. I found our local reps and the product of very low quality and poor ROI/conversion.I cannot believe Career Builder is still around pulling this low quality and unprofessional business tactics.

My information was sold to a third party who said that they found me through Career builders. They communicated with me through ********* teams. After interviewing and doing assessment/ skills tests all day I was "hired" by a pharmaceutical company in ******. I researched the company and the company is legitimate only this person was not. I was sent a fraudulent check to purchase a laptop for company use. My bank releases $500.00 for immediate use and this man wanted a screen shot of the deposit. This supposed supervisor was adamant that I set up a PayPal account so that he could send money to the person that was downloading the programs needed for the job onto a laptop. I had a PayPal account already, but I was not going to send any money until the check cleared. I told the supervisor that I set up the account, but that the funds would not transfer for 3-4 days. He then became adamant that I setup a cash app account or purchase an apple pay card for $500. I had had my doubts all day, but with the pressure thisman was putting on me I knew for sure it was a scam. The man kept calling me on my personal phone number, which I don't give out. My resume has my work cell listed, then I realized that I had put my personal number on my career builders account. I texted the man to stop calling me and that I knew this was a scam. I called my bank and informed them that I suspected that the check that I deposited was fraudulent. I had to close my accounts and debit cards and yes the check did turn out to be fraudulent. I get calls on my personal cell everyday from different numbers and names, but the text is very similar. I got called at 5 am this morning, I have now decided to change my personal, cell number. Many years ago career builders was legitimate, but no longer. Please get the word out to anyone you know that is looking for employment NOT to use career builders.
