      I DO NOT recommend posting a job on career builder. No applicants applied to the job for a month. The same job I posted on indeed provided qualified applicants 24 hours after posting. Within days I requested a refund. I was told they were investigating. They waited a month to investigate to tell me i was no longer in the refund threshold and would send my balance to collections if I didnt pay. Within that time they started sending unqualified applicants with no experience in the job posted. I didnt think to check reviews for employers posting on career builders and wish I knew their poor rating before making the purchase.

      They allow 3rd parties to add false personal information about you to anyone needs to be taken down immediately.

      Horrible company. Do not follow and definitely do not give them your resume. They will steal your info and post all over the internet to try and make money. They are not even located in the US and definitely from *****.

      I regret that I didn't check reviews about CareerBuilder before seeking their assistance in my job search. My complaints about them are very similar to those enumerated in all the recent reviews. I don't even want to give them one star - horrible! When you try to cancel your account, you can only opt for one but not all options and then mysteriously unable to log back into your account using the same login and password. Oh, and forget about getting anyone on the phone. 800# is useless. It's a real shame because CB was one of the pioneer job search engines.

      I have had my resume on career builder for years & decided this year to update my profile, to find a work from home position. When I started applying, I noticed that they had a plethora of positions & could apply in bulk. And none of these positions were on indeed. I started receiving text ***************** from fraudulent *************** asking me for my address to send sign on bonuses through **** without any type of interview. And they always want you to download ********* teams from sum reason. Career builder is allowing this. I will be deactivating my profile & removing my resume. I receive 100s of these fraudulent positions daily. It's sad, because we are in need of real positions that pay well.

      CareerBuilder not only continues to send out your old information (older resume), even when you update it, and delete the old information, they also have sell your data, have become elusive about their unethical business practices, and make it difficult for your to delete your account. This company needs to be shut down by the SEC, or Attorney General, and if not, perhaps a Class Action Lawsuit (which I am looking into starting). Shame on them for thinking that they can get away with so many unethical and poor business practices.

      Do not use this service. They will sell your info to scammers and actively promote scam jobs on their site and through emails. When I emailed them about the scams I received a response telling me that it was my responsibility to ensure I wasn't being scammed, rather than them reviewing the postings before allowing them on their service.

      Posting my rsum on this site was a huge mistake. I have gotten nothing but scammers trying to scam me repeatedly. It should be called Scam builders.

      Career builder scammed me out of 3k!They wont help me locate the guy who claimed to have located my resume on THEIR site which I did not approve!

      Such a disappointment! I was verbally offered a 3 month trial, never verbally advised of an auto renewal. Their platform is terrible. I advertised for a Financial Controller and received 0 qualified applicants and hundreds of unqualified applicants. I watched their videos, took their on line tutorials, followed their directions and got zero results. I tried to cancel and they told me I am auto renewed for 3 more months and outlined a clause in the contract.DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!THE PLATFORM IS USELESS AND THEY INTENTIONALLY DO NOT ADVISE YOU UP FRONT OF THEIR 3 MONTH AUTO RENEWAL.
