Beware!! No money-back guarantee. I am a music instructor and was very unsatisfied with the song I received, and was not able to receive a refund or partial refund of ANY kind. It was very expensive as well. Definitely have buyer's remorse.Songfinch

I was very disappointed with the anniversary song that was provided. It was so bad and customer service was not helpful. Such a huge disappointment. They promise you will love your song and you can make edits but then they limit you to 5 lines only. No solution to be found and a complete waste of money and energy. It seems like they use robots and AI to take whatever you provide and do the bare minimum. I can not recommend them to anyone. They need to improve the communication and tell people that they need to literally write the song themselves and provide what they want for the lyrics to say otherwise be ready to be letdown and have a sad outcome. This was suppose to be a gift to my husband after 33 years of marriage for our anniversary and the artist put no effort towards being creative with the message of the song. She wrote how we had been married before and this was not the main point of our story ... Buyer beware - I would not pay $200 for what got created and the time I spent providing information and the back and fourth with customer service who presented more like a robot than a human. Having customer satisfaction should be the goal here. Not overcharging and then when people aren't happy requiring them to spend more money to fix what is broken and not worthy of a song.Songfinch

Like many of the suckers that fell for this, I too am here to tell you this company scams people and delivers a finished product that sounds like it was written and performed by AI. I could hardly stand to listen, it was so corny and embarrassing, I could never gift it. I thought I was supporting an indie artist, but theres no way a musician who took themselves seriously would attach their name to the song I paid $300. The customer service team has been terrible, they refuse to do refunds and blocked me on ******** for commenting my experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.Songfinch

My wife and I ordered 2 songs for each other for our anniversary, I made mine first and we found an artist we liked and wrote the details for the song. Very little about the process was explained, including that we had to actually request that the lyrics rhymed. The song came back with good music and vocals, but with only about 1/6th of the lyrics rhyming. We thought this wouldn't be an issue because of the "worry free guarantee" but despite the extensive changes we needed to make, they only allowed 5 total changes. In order to get the song to a workable state with our lyrical changes we had to contact the artist via social media and ask him to use our lyrics instead, which is the only reason the song is the way we wanted (artist would get 5 stars, not songfinch).At least we learned a lot from making the first song, for the second one from a different artist we made specific requests about rhyming and other things we wanted to make sure the changes would be less significant.The second song was closer to what it should be, but there were so near-rhymes that didn't quite work but we brainstormed the changes and went to make it through their UI 47 ish hours from delivery. To our surprise the button for revisions was already gone, we were unable to make the requested changes. I can only assume that they count 48 hours from when the artist submits their song and not when we receive the email telling us it is ready, which is not accurate or fair.I have contacted support to request they fix this and allow us to fix the lyrics as they said we could. I will update my review and rating based on what they do when they respond.Songfinch

First issue- they do not provide a customer service number. You can only communicate with them via email. I ordered a song and afterwards, as in just a few hours, I had read online reviews of this company and how terrible they were so I decided I was going to cancel my order and order with a different company. I got the customer support email, I emailed them and said hey can I cancel my order? the agent then responses with your order has been canceled and your card has been charged a fee. I was not aware my card was going to be charged a fee so I emailed him back and said whoa I didnt know there was a fee. If theres going to be a fee I would like to just keep my order. Then he responds to me nope, sorry you requested to cancel and your charge is going to remain on your card. I have tried to email him and the company multiple times since requesting that I pay them the full amount of $200 to just continue on with my normal order, but now they will not respond to me. So instead of the company making $200 theyre only making $60 and I get absolutely no product out of it. Customer service and this company seems to be a joke. They need to teach their agents to number one before they do anything, educate the customer on what will be involved in the process like a cancellation fee and they need to be able to provide customers with an additional way to reach customer service .Songfinch

I made two purchases for gifts for Christmas to my daughters and another one to my husband. On both I had written the poem and had given specific information regarding tempo and artist preferences for each song. One of them was perfect, their worry free and well work on it until is perfect is truly a lie as they will charge you even for minor edits. The second song, despite providing lyrics, background and artist references was a complete nightmare. I contacted them and they took three days to respond. Only to tell me they would charge me half of original cost to change it to the tempo I had originally requested. The lyrics were HORRIBLE. This was a heartfelt song for my husband that turned out sounding like an ************************* on drugs. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and despite my original experience. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.Also, their customer service is not the best and you will not have any contact with the artist.Songfinch

Songfinch is garbage and is hiding behind a bogus "worry free guarantee". I made a purchase to have a song created for my parents for Christmas this year. After spending a painstaking amount of time making sure to include all crucial information and details for the song- I was sent the song to listen to.. The artists voice was fine, but the lyrics were terrible. I would have been better off writing a song myself. It basically seemed like Songfinch ran my information through some half a** AI software to create the lyrics, and then the artist let it rip with no regard for how non sensical the song was ordered or sounded. When I reached out about a refund I was told I could not have one. I expected to have a verbal conversation with an artist to create what would hopefully be an incredible gift and memory for my parents. It was not. I will never recommend Songfinch to anyone I know and will actively campaign against them. To rob people of their hard earned money around the holidays is criminal. My family doesn't have much but splurging for this seemed reasonable for all that my parents have done for me. Now I am left with no gift for them and a significant portion of my holiday budget wasted. What a terrible, terrible job on your part, Songfinch. I hope more people become alerted of your poor business practices and it ultimately leads to the downfall of your company. We are people not just customers, and I'm sure the re-purchase rate will bear that out in the futureSongfinch

Refunds are possible, but we don't start there as we would love to get the song right for you first. Things like the mispronunciation you mentioned wanting fixed are covered for free and can be accommodated. Do not spend your money on this website. You're already smarter than me if you're checking the reviews because this business is a complete scam. After I made my purchase, I entered all the details of my story which takes a considerable amount of time. Two days later I received an email requesting that I enter the details of my story (which I had already done). Frustrated at how much time I had already wasted, I checked to see about getting a refund for my purchase. It was a surprise to find out that after 24 hours from the time of purchase you are only able to get credit toward another song from the website. Mind you, no one could be writing my song at this point if they don't have the details of my story so it isn't like some song writer had already invested time into my song. Realizing it was likely a scam and I wasn't going to get my money back I tried to navigate the website so I could re-enter my story. I thoroughly searched the site and could not find any avenue to enter my story. I even searched the *** to no avail. Do not make the same mistake that I did and save your money for something legitimate. I love the idea of having a song written for my wife, and I and probably got ahead of myself by signing up without reviewing the site. $200 is a lot of money to lose for such a silly mistake. If you guys truly care about artist, your loved ones, and overall quality and organization PLEASE USE A DIFFEENT COMPANY like Songlorious. Not only did Songfinch artist I requested half A** the song ( assuming he's overwhelmed with work ) but was one of the few artist I saw Songfinch promote. The song was terrible and for 200$ it was nice knowing songfinch made half...I started to think about the artist more than my own song ( which was not good ) However, I'm sure other artist dedicate lots of quality time for their customers. I wish songfinch cut out the request your artist and just assign an artist for us customers that want someone who will dedicate the time for 200$. I am not a happy customer but I truly do feel for the artist on the roster that can't be assigned to customers like myself trying to do something nice for a soon to be wife. Only of the artist they promote to mess up lines , not even try to balance the sound and won't fix mistakes. Better leadership is needed.Songfinch

Hi there! Every single customer on every single order can request to have us choose for them. If you were actually a customer or spent 2 minutes looking at the website, you would've seen that (not to mention your email isn't real or in our system. And *****? come on). The truth is - that just like music on every other platform, from vinyl records to Spotify - people prefer to make their own choices on what they listen to and engage with musically. We're not forcing anyone to pick for themselves - but over 90% do.
As for the $200? Artists are paid first out of that. Both now and even if you flash back to when we were manually assigning orders, we pay to bring the customer to the door (IE - to the artist) through advertising. Artists also own all of the rights to what you make (and if someone says they don't care about these songs enough for their own career, then we definitely don't want them making music for our customers). Long before Songfinch eats, the artist eats. That's how it will be forever and always.
