      DO NOT USE spothero. Guaranteed a space close to the finish line of the ********* marathon. We arrived to find there was no access to that garage due to road closures in the area. They are refusing to give anything but a credit, which is useless to me. Complete scam.

      Please pursue other websites/apps which have ************ protections as they take no responsibility for any issues that arise in the spots/garages you are renting from. I rented a spot for 30 days in a garage and the garage did not give me the credentials to enter into the garage and park. SpotHero was entirely unwilling to assist and refused any sort of refund citing that refunds are only available up until the date the reservation starts. That is an incredibly stupid policy given that I had no idea the garage, which I paid to park in, wouldn't let me park. **************** was incredibly unhelpful and strung my along for weeks until I finally had to dispute through my credit card provider. Avoid at all costs.

      I made reservations for myself and 2 friends in ******** at their lot at ***********. We never did fine the lot. ************* was residential. We ended up paying for parking at the venue for $15. a piece.

      Deleted the app. Rented a space, used the waze directions in the app, and the space from the pictures were not there. It was a private home. SpotHero couldn’t find another lot for me to park and acted like a refund was enough, even though this egregious mistake derailed my day.
      This was a very difficult area to park in, and I was attending a funeral. I would have sought alternate transportation had I known they had no spots nearby. I was forced to take a parking ticket because there is nothing in the area and I was clearly in a time crunch.
      I’ve sent them several emails about getting the ticket compensated, and the two responses I’ve received come off almost robotic. They clearly don’t read my complaint, and say “we see this situation has been resolved, how can we assist you further?”. When I say “reimburse me for my parking ticket” they don’t respond.
      It’s clear this app is unreliable and although the app is convenient, the practice of it is terrible, and the customer service is abysmal. They don’t care about their customers and don’t double check the spots they are making money off of. They also won’t take accountability for mistakes they make. I recommend deleting the app and finding another parking app.

      This place is a complete scam in my opinion. All of the garages I tried to reserve in ******* had excellent reviews on the SpotHero site. I reserved the first one before actually reviewing the garages on ******* OH MY GOSH. The reviews on ****** were TERRIBLE. Like 1 star terrible!! ****** learned. I called SH to see how to actually read the reviews on their site and the *************** up on me. I immediately called back and cancelled the reservation through the automated system. My thing is, how can you have 1 star on BBB and yet have an A+ rating?!?!?!? Crazy!

      Terrible service. Took my money. I got into the parking lot that was assigned. When I went to leave, the attendant said he could not take my scanned receipt and charged me a second time. I tried to call the compant to straighten it out and got nowhere, Won't use again.

      I got to my prepaid reserved parking spot and they had overfilled the lot and would not honor my ticket. So then I couldnt go to the baseball game and the whole outing was ruined not just for me but also for my family who had sprung for my ticket. A complete disaster, will never use this company again and the $35 refund of the parking ticket didnt even begin to cover the loss.

      If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I paid for parking & got TOWED! I had a group of volleyball girls attending a tournament at GRB in *******. I Pre-planned everything in advance so the weekend would go off without a blip. I came out after the tournament to get our ************ was not there. I reported it stolen, because after all I had a reservation for parking. We paid for an Uber to get home & received a call from a Houston PD Officer that the vehicle had been towed, right after we got home.Whether this company did not register our parking reservation or they're just a fraud, I do not know as of yet. I just know I will never use them again & I will alert anyone I know to stay away. DO NOT USE SPOTHERO!!!

      I booked a spot at a garage in downtown ********* through the SpotHero app for a recent Guardians game. Unlike other garages, for which the app provides a QR code, it stated that you show the reservation to an attendant. OK, no problem ... except when I arrived, there was no attendant. So I parked and, after having paid $21 on SpotHero already, had to get a ticket for ANOTHER $15 in an attempt to get back out. Except after paying, the machine wouldn't read the ticket. With my 10 year old daughter in the car, the only reason I was able to get out was because someone in line behind me had a permanent card. Naturally, I complained to SpotHero customer support. After nearly two weeks of emails, they claimed I parked at a lot several blocks east, because that address came up on the transaction. The claim was nonsense and physically impossible. I've had some terrible parking experiences in my life, but the totality of this takes the cake. And the SpotHero "customer support" left me exasperated on top of it.

      Worst customer service ever. I paid for a spot in ****. They said there'd be an attendant there to let me out. That was not the case. I was stuck in the garage for 30 plus minutes having to wait for a passerby to come and let me out of the lot and they will not give me a refund. Horrible horrible, horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible company. Never use them
