    I was contacted by the above company about resolving my outstanding state tax penalty, I was under the impression this was a legitimate company. To this date nothing has been resolved and to my knowledge the contracted recovery company that had frozen my bank account for payment has not been contacted, every time I have tried to contact Nationwide to talk about the issue I have gotten the run around.

    They reached out to me via mail because I had a tax issue/lien with the state of ********** to take care of and said they could help me get a reduced cost. They were very slow to respond after taking my money and every time I got reached out to via text or email by different accountants. They were very slow to act and shady, and I didn't receive any notification from the California *** until months later when I received a notice that someone was requesting POA (which I expected). However, the name mentioned was different from any of the accountants from Nationwide Tax Care that I had spoken to. I keep occasionally receiving these letters from the CA FTB that people are requesting POA on my records, and it's been different names every time.I'm now working directly with the CA FTB on my case and I've asked for a refund but *** did not mention anything about my refund inquiry and just kept asking about POA. This is very frustrating and I would like my money back.They had the nerve to text me about helping me file my 2024 taxes after all this.

    In October of 2023, I paid this company to help settle my Ohio taxes and after I filed tax paperwork I didnt hear anything for close to six months. No one reached out, no one helped me, and Ohio sent me a letter saying that my taxes were in collections so I had to pay them over 1400 by a certain date in September 2024 or they would garnish wages. It has put me in a tight spot these last five months. I tried contacting *** for a refund, and heard I would get one but its been two weeks and now their phone doesnt work. I would like a refund.

    I am rejecting this response because: while that is true that it was sent to a collections agency, I never heard back from Nationwide Tax Care for over six months after I paid and then in September I had to pay over 1400 dollars to resolve the account and so they wouldnt garnish my wages, when I was promised by *** that we could set up a payment plan. It has put me in a tight spot money wise for over five months and I would like a refund from NTC.

    Let it be known that no one communicated with me satisfactorily for over a year, and you took my money and did nothing to help me pay my taxes in any kind of plan. So the state of **** almost garnished my wages. Let it be known that I am a dissatisfied costumer and you should be ashamed for leading me around for over a year, blocking my phone number, not answering my emails, just so that you would not have to give me a refund.

    I paid them for a service to protect my accounts from the *** and they did nothing to help! Maine took 2000 dollars from me when Nationwide was supposed to stop that from happening! Now I cant pay my bills and might get evicted! When I call them I dont get answers and they hang up on me! Not a legitimate business! Could use some help

    I started this whole process in October I was told that if I paid almost $500 then they could get me settled for 5% of what I owe the state. Fast forward 2 months and I got nowhere I got thrown around to every different excuse in person you can think of getting told I would get called back in a certain time frame and never getting called back emailing with never getting response texting with never getting a response anytime I could get a response it was always the same excuse give it another 24 hours or 48 hours or a week and we'll have an answer for you. They never did they never delivered after 2 months of fighting with these guys to try and help me I decided my efforts would be better talking with the state directly at which point they said they could talk to the state about getting a payment plan not anything to do with the 5% that they promised me when I pay them up front after reading all the other reviews I see that I'm not the only one that fell for their scam and now they're trying to tell me they could not refund my money I call the main office I've called every extension to try and even talk with somebody and no answer no one will take my call no one will respond to my emails it seems like calling them fake and a scam on the reviews is the only way that they Merit a response so here I am two and a half months later still trying to get a hold of somebody to get a refund on something I paid for and was never delivered.

    I was promised a service that was never provided and lied to about the time frame and which it was supposed to be provided completely ignored and was given nothing but run around answers and to call back or get clarification later. No evidence was provided or anything showing that there was any work being done just Nationwide Tax care claiming it had already went through their processing and that's why they can't refund. This needs to be resolved the right way considering I paid over $400 for absolutely nothing

    I am rejecting this response because: you guys are literally just copying and pasting your response you're not even trying to reach back out and settle this the right way. Bottom line is a service was paid for and none was provided if that isn't a scam I don't know what is. Anybody else that is thinking of working with them I hope you see this message before you give them any money and if you've only given them a partial payment after the refund immediately this company is completely useless and I don't think they've helped one person in their entire business career

    I paid nationwide to resolve my tax problem $301.15 on November 13th, I never received the paperwork in the mail. My parents took care of my tax issue, I emailed nationwide to inform them I did not need their services and would like a refund, I was told the refund would be in my account in 2-5 business days, I've emailed them 2 or 3 times since the 5 business days passed , I've still not received a refund or response from them

    Nationwide Tax Care sent a letter to my house stating they could help me with my tax debt. That should've been the first clue they are scammers. After I paid the money, I was requested to fill out more paperwork and I had not been informed I would need to do that. I started to get suspicious about the "company" and decided to check the BBB website. I wish I had done that before paying them. All of the reviews, that sound real, are negative. The rest seem fake. My first contact with the "company" was on 11/19/24 with a person named Mico. Then on 11/26/24 I called to request a refund, and a woman named ******* said my money would be back in my account within 5-7 business days. It has been 10 business days, and the money is not returned and now their phone number doesn't work for me. Please help me get my $288 back. At least shut them down so they stop preying on people!

    Nationwide Tax care sent me a communication via mail regarding state taxes that I owed. They stated that their was a new plan whereby individuals who owed state taxes could have those taxes reduced and then enter onto a payment plan for the remainder of the owed funds. The cost to get them to help me get this plan was $700 which I paid. They sent me paperwork to fill out, which I completed and sent back to them. Approximately two weeks later I called to find out the status of my case and they informed me that I did not qualify for the reduced funds. I asked why not and they were not able to provide me with an adequate response. I asked what the next steps were and they stated that someone from the state government should contact me about a payment plan. No one did. I reached out to the state government on my own and sought out a payment plan, which I did received. I asked Nationwide for a refund of my $700 and they have not responded to my phone calls and emails regarding the refund. After I obtained the payment plan, someone from Nationwide, a ******** ********* emailed me outlining the payment plan that I secured for myself. I responded to say that I wanted a refund as they played no part in helping me to resolve the matter. I find this to be fraudulent business practice and would like to received a refund of my $700 since Nationwide did not secure me a reduced payment as they stated, no did they play in part in helping me to secure a payment plan.

    I am rejecting this response because: I set up my own payment plan. It was not done by Nationwide. I called and spoke with the ******************** and set up the payment plan. I am including a picture of my most recent payment. I never furnished Nationwide with my bank information. I am also including an email communication from them that indicates o set up the payment plan. Additionally, when I paid them they never disclosed that there may be reasons that I dont qualify for the decrease in amount owed. If that was shared with me up front, I would have been able to make a decision about whether or not to move forward with them. They furthermore did not disclose the specific reasons I did not qualify for the reduced payment plan. These reasons make their approach disingenuous and predatory in nature. I feel a full refund is the only acceptable solution. Ive emailed and called them numerous times and this is the first time they have responded. They did not render any services to me.

I would also like an itemized bill to demonstrate how the $700 and change that I paid you was spent for services rendered if youre not able to provide those things I continue to ask for a refund.

    *** and its network of businesses has harassed me since July 2024, via the **************************** and also telephone. I have asked that they do not contact me as I do not wish to use their services. They have not removed me from their records. I am filing complaints here and also with the *** and the ****, as the documentation sent, to a ****** appears to represent federal agency. The information contained in their letter is false "tax professionals registered with the ****** what does that even mean. On November 12, 2024, they called my telephone and at that time I asked that they not contact me again, as the person who called attempted to bully me into using their service. Apparently, he hung up and sent 10 different letters saying the same thing, some appearing to be official US government documents to me as if that will make me change my mind. It's only made me seek relief from ***. If they do not stop contacting me, I do intend to seek all legal remedies available to me, including but not limited to, injunctive relief and damages.

    Just as many complaints listed here before me. I sent them my personal ******************* but once they received payment I didnt hear from them again. Apparently I was missing some information to for my account for them to proceed further but this was AFTER they received payment. I ***** them the ***************** said the placed had moved or permanently closed.Seemingly tell tell signs of a scam!
