      Well on 8/10/2022 I had purchased a quarter panel in the amount of ****** from my local LKQ pick your own service part well unfortunately it didnt fit my ******* had ended up not even needing it but Sadly I had lost my receipt But I had used my credit card so I figured that could be proof of the purchase I made I return to the store and I was talking to a male employee who had said he would go get the manger but then the lady that had happened to actually be the one to sell it to me was rude & intervened claiming you have to have the receipt so we can pull up the transaction & was very rude about it & refused, But I know for a fact there has to be another way every (POS)point of sell system has a record keeping of all its transactions thats the basic functionality principle of POS plus its kept for the business ************** operations but she straight up refused & also wouldnt go get the manger basically walking away from me as Im trying to tell her I can verify with my bank statement I have the proof of my purchase but she straight refused so over the next course of 4 days Ive tried contacting corporate but their basically nonexistent AT all no way WHATSOEVER to get ahold of any type of actual help Ive called and 4 different numbers I could find on LKQ first person told me he has no idea to try another number he knew I call that one she tells me she has no way to see their system she proceeds to tell me to call this other number its just a automated recorder Ive submitted 3 different help me forms under their corporate website to be contacted regarding issues I call the corporate phone it claims your calling outside of business hours all my options are exhausted with no help at all Im very confused as to why the local LKQ couldnt help me & the employee wouldnt let me speak to the manger it was like she was deliberately trying not to help me when I was never rude or never Got mad I just simply stated that I needed to return this & I lost my receipt

      Markist Card I Honestly dont understand why you guys give customers a full on hassle but portray you guys offer a No hassle refund return policy I even showed my bank statement when using my credit card stating the actual transaction & location where it was purchased AT LKQ ALSO even went on their website showing the part I purchased & the part from the website is the part I CLEARLY have & these people still refused to help me  I have gotten nothing but no help dealing with you guys I will never shop or go to a LKQ AGAIN nothing but rude & ignorant people refuses to a offer a refund which I totally dont understand how that cant be match to show proof of purchase & I know for a fact every (P.O.S) point of sale system can search receipts & keep records of all transactions they just absolutely refuse to help a loyal customer that they now lost because nobody wants to do their job thanks for NOTHING AT ALL

      Work order *********. The listing for the engine says the details for the engine and specifies turbo. The engine arrived without the turbo. I spoke to ***** who stated the individual locations write the description so it may or may not be accurate. I feel this is a deceptive practice. I have included the document with turbo stated. I feel that I should be provided the turbo.

       The part description "1.6L (VIN X, 8TH DIGIT, TURBO, WITH CYLINDER HEAD TEMP SENSOR) XTRB NK UTS", describes the engine type. The manufacturer produced two versions of this engine. One using a turbo and one without. This does not mean that the long block assembly we sold you came with the turbo. A long block assembly includes the block, the heads and all the internals. Anything sent in addition to this is not guaranteed or warrantied.

      I purchased an engine from *********************** in ******* **** on June 7/2021 who purchased it from LKQ for my 09 ****** for *******. It has insurance to cover it . 3 yrs or ******* miles. I have had it repaired x2 .One time was a camshaft seal leak the other time was rear seal leak. They only paid 1 time and only paid a small amount to the mechanic. The third time it blew up while I was driving it . It is now sitting at the mechanics. The insurance company wants him to tear it down to see what is wrong and then they will let him know if they will fix it . I cant get Lkq or the insurance company they use to contact me

      We own a small local automotive repair business. We purchased a $2800 used motor from LKQ Corp with a 6 months parts warranty. Motor was supposed to be checked upon shipment. The motor was installed and upon start up, the water pump was out. Motor was paid for in full by the customer ($4700 with labor and additional parts such as fluids and gaskets). Now the motor having a water pump out is an additional charge to the customer of $856.75 due to the fact the motor was not in the condition they stated. My sales Rep ********************* transferred me to his boss who was extremely hateful and hung up on me. They are stating it is too bad we are a small shop and are having to now take care of an almost $900 bill because of their careless check out. I refuse to call the customer and ask for them to pay an additional $900 on top of the already paid $4700 because LKQ does not want to cover their warranty. The water pump is ran by the timing chain although timing chain will not be replaced because of holding tool on hand. Timing will have to be checked because there can be slack in the chain with any repairs/replacements to water pump. The motor was originally replaced due to broken timing chain which caused major internal issues to original motor.

      On may 30, 2022, I ******************* purchaced a crate motor from jegs.com. for the sum of $4315.00. as it turned out, the motor was built and sold to me from a company with the name; ******************** ENGINES, or also LKQ. First off, i have been building, servicing, and diagnosing small block ************ for about 25 years now. I know every aspect of the extremely important process of " breaking in " or " seating the rings" on any one of many small block ***** engines. Once the motor arrived, which was about 2 weeks later and sooner than expected, i opened up the pamphlet with the break in procedure and warranty details. I then purchaced everything they recommended i use with the new motor. I then installed the motor into the car following every procedure the warranty info pamphlet had stated, as to not void the warranty, and also as a mechanic agreeing that the procedure listed was infact the correct way to operate this engine. Everything about this motor was coming along great, and i was very satisfied with my purchase, untill i went out to start the car; now having only 450 miles on it; and while it was at an idle it started making a terrible noise so i shut the car off. I tried to then restart the engine but it would not and by the sound it was making i knew it was something catastrophic. Of all the motors i have seen in my 25 year career, this type of engine failure under this particular situation was never seen or even herd of, so i am just puzzled and shocked that this has happened. After several weeks of poor customer **********************, i finally get the warranty claim procedure in motion. I then send the motor back to atk for an inspection. A few weeks later a technician named **** calls me to inform me the motor WILL NOT be covered by any warranty because it was caused from detonation. I then asked him what caused this and he said it could have been caused because of bad gas. Well assuming that to be the cause, why dont all motors fail having used that gas? **

      I am rejecting this response because: this company is clearly a scam, and they are not even willing to admit they are in the wrong. I so regret not researching the customer reviews corresponding to this company's quality and integrity because they have so many terrible reviews and I 100 percent agree that they are a disgrace to this wonderful country and they should be ashamed because they just completely lie and steal our hard earned money. I feel sick knowing that there is probably nothing I can do about this situation because they can hire a big time lawyer with all the money they basicly stole from us, and I can't even begin to afford another motor for my car, yet alone hire a lawyer to prove that they are in fact a scam. A person would like to believe a company would not do their customers wrong but in this case, I 100 percent know they need not only shut down, but they need to be took to court and all the hard working Americans that have been ripped off by them should be compensated!

      I went to purchase a part I needed today 8-8-22- little did I know their "policy" had changed and they were now charging 9$ for returns on defective parts. I did not see signage anywhere but then I wasn't really looking as I was focused on the task at hand, finding the correct part- after "checking in" and paying an admission fee (which I thought was odd to charge one) I went off to the yard to find my part, found it, came back in the pay for the part, and left. Imagine my surprise when I went later to reconcile my checkbook using the receipt to find an added charge of 9$ for some 90 days guarantee, something, again I knew nothing of, nor was asked before charging me whether I choose to get it, if given a choice I would have said NO. I'm very cash poor and really cannot pay out money for something I don't need. I sent an email to the owner (?) and just got a call from this person, who claimed that "there are signs all over the place even a big one on the door stating this 90-day guarantee" I did NOT see no huge 2 x 3-foot sign stating this on or near the door, I did see a piece of paper abt masking, that was all I recall seeing on the door. I told this man it would be helpful to verbalize to customers BEFORE charging them and ask if they want this guarantee, that was wrong to not ask me. I wanted the 12$ back (admission fee and fraudulent charge which I didn't want) this man stated they will not return my money and kept saying about signs, which in all honesty I didn't see a single one. So can u get me my much-needed money back? That would be great

      On 02/15/2022 I ************************* paid LKQ $2696.13 for one engine for a 2013 **** edge. They sent out two engines that had major issues. The first one was leaking, the other was cracked. Due to time sensitivity I decided to fix the issue based on them telling me they will issue me a partial refund for the repairs ($500) which they never did. After a long ride the engine started having issues, called and they ignored. I have even called the sales manager ****** *************) and General Manager *** *************) with no luck multiple times. They were suppose to provide me with a working low mileage engine. Now I am stuck with the engine that cant be used. They spoke to the mechanic and he said they just keep telling him to change parts that don't make sense. Please have them do the right thing and provide a new engine or refund me my money! I'm in desperate need of a working car i have spent way too much trying to fix their issue.Thank you, ************************* *************

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The transmission sent to me was not good. It should not have been sent originally. Therefore, requiring the customer to pay for **********************'s mistake is not reasonable. If I was sent a non-leaking transmission to begin with, we wouldn't be in this position. Someone failed to inspect the unit (that likely came out of a wrecked vehicle) for damage to the transmission casing. I am not looking to eat $800 cost in labor on something that SHOULD NOT have been sent in the first place. The warranty is to cover future problems within the alloted time. The warranty is NOT used to cover existing damage and/or responsibility of LKQ dispursing damaged parts. Therefore, it's a product quality concern and NOT a warranty concern.       Purchased a rebuilt 3.7l ********** from LKQ ( ATK engines) in ************ only ran a few minutes before coolant began spraying from exhaust and engine started running rough. Returned engine for warranty review and credit back. Motor returned 6/22. Since then my contact had stopped returning my emails. I contacted corp office through email and have received no response. I called their office today and requested some kind of follow up but we will see what happens. Paid over 3k dollars for this motor and will probably have to take them to small claims court.

      I contacted LKQ Pick Your Part on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 to pick up a *********************************** a price of $405.00. Everything was based on the information that I provided to them over the phone. The pick up date was scheduled for Monday, August 01, 2022. ********************** came this morning to pick up my **** **** Taurus. The gentleman stated that the catalytic converter missing and I told him that I haven't had any work done on my vehicle to have it missing. I told them to give me ********************************************************************************************************************************************* The driver of ********************** wrote up everything that was missing or wrong with the vehicle (door damaged and the head from the engine). The price that the tow driver put on the form was customer payout is $405.00. Once I got to LKQ *********************** #**** **************************************. The gentlemen told me that the catalytic was missing and that the amount would be different($225.00). Their paper states $405.00 because everything was on my vehicle when they towed it away. Their policy is to inspect the vehicle and pay whatever the ************** states on the receipt($405.00). I showed them the receipt but they didn't want to hear it. I told the gentlemen I didn't want to sale my vehicle and they could have the check back and just bring my car back to my house. I was told that I would have to pay for the towing back to my house. This is a RIP OFF and I want my money of $405 and not just $225.00. They are not standing by what's on the form and their policy. I have attached a copy of the receipt for the towing company and the check that was given to me.
