      US Cellular is absolutely the worst telecommunication company in the United States.... they make it unbelievably difficult to cancel your account and charge you excessive fees to do so....they do not prorate your ending date.... they charge you for the whole month regardless of when you cancel.

      Charging $358.80 for long distance calling when I was told I wouldn't be charged is a little screwed up if you ask me and I know this company records for quality assurance so how about you pull it up were i did call

      Absolutely hated this company from the get-go. Was promised 5G service in my entire service area, and got nothing but LTE and no service, even right in front of my house in-town. I was told there was no way to fix that, and since I already had a phone through them, they would not cancel my plan so that I could go elsewhere. When **************** introduced their buy-out program in January 2025, I switched over to them. However, instead of USCellular waiting for me to pay off the remaining amount with the E-Visa I get from *******, they put the remainder on autopay and automatically charged me the full amount due. When I called, they said there was nothing they could do, and it would be almost a month before I got my money back. I will be filing a formal complaint with USCellular and their lack of care for their customers. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

      I have a home Internet plan, which is a hotspot. They say that the speed is enough to stream television, but when they throttle you at the end of the month because you have used more than their 600 gigabytes. It slows down to one megapixel the two megapixel download speed and megapixel in half of upload speed. This is ridiculous. Dial-up is ********* is ridiculous because they change our IP address six times this month and that affects our streaming.This is Bad business and I give this a poor very poor ratin

      I have been a customer of ********************** competitors; ******, *******, ***** and Tracfone. US Cellular is the worst cell phone provider of all. Their ads claim lowest prices compared all other cell providers, not true. Their billing practices basically are to chiffon their customers. Service can only be stopped at the end of billing cycle. Cancelled service for the end of billing cycle, but was billed for another day, prorated. **************** **** on phone, said their system only stopped billing at end of cycle, no prorate. Then, how did I get billed for one more day. Had a small credit balance leftover & called customer service, it takes at least 3 months to receive debt card with remaining credit balance. That is a joke! Started the service at a ************** store, purchased two phones on payment plans. The store manager told me, if I wanted to pay off phones early had to pay at the store which I purchased the cell phones from. I was skeptical. Months later, called customer service & confirmed this policy. The ************** store, which I bought cell phones from closed. Drove 12 miles to nearest, paid $100 & told them to apply to cell phone pay off. They did not apply to phone pay off. Drove 28 miles to another store, was told US Cellular stores never take cash to pay off phones.

      They lied to me about a promotion. I complained several times. They always said, give it time... It'll kick in. It never kicked in. After 10 months I had to make several phone calls to them. Several trips to the store that's 26 miles away. They said they would apply the promo finally, and back credit me for the months I paid and shouldn't have. Worked for 1 month then the back credit stopped. Now another round of 15 minute phone calls and yet another trip to their store. This company doesn't care about anybody. Pretty sure I'm not the only one. I'm just so poor, it's impossible for me not to notice the extra money going to them. I want my money back, the service is garbage too. Get ** *****, let's make America great again together.

      US cellular has predatory practices and does not follow through on conversations. My mother passes away in August. On Sept 3rd I called and canceled her home internet and they sent me a box to return the router. After receiving another bill. I contacted them around 10/14 and paid the remaining balance and they said the account was zero. I now have another bill generated on 10/4 which could not pull from the account since it was closed. They are now saying that this bill is owed even though they received the router and admit They can see I spoke to them in September and October. They also hit my mother will extra charges many times with the home internet and phone, not explaining charges and taking out extra from her bank account on two occasions, blaming it on their billing cycle.They refuse to do anything about the balance and reported it overdue, eventhough I have explained at least three times I have reported my mother deceased. If the bill was outstanding from 10/4 why did they not bring it up on 10/14. I tried asking these questions multiple times and was rudely cut off. Also they did not mark the router received until end of September and I explained that is their issue, not mine. I sent it back on 9/6.Beware, especially if you have elderly parents.
