Been with US cellular for 20 years Never had a problem with billing but ever since 5G came about I get the worst reception you can imagine it's almost as if 3G became 4G and 4G became 5G and 90% of the time I'm on d*** good thing they don't charge for 5G because they would not have a customer left And forget about traveling because you will not get reception

NO STARS, - 100, the worst, I have been trying to cancel service since I moved to Colorado 6/1/22, all I get on the phone is run around, they are still charging my account even though the phone has not worked for 7 months, bad, bad, bad, bad.

My charge card company actually alerted me to the exorbitant fees being charged to my account by us cellular. I would try to pay online, but they would say it didn't go through and then tack on a whole bunch of extra charges. I paid 470 for two lines in ********** seem to invent reasons to justify their charges. I feel like they are going under and trying to get as much as possible from their customers as they try to stay afloat. Run from this company.

US. Cellular service is expensive but it works well. The issue here is they are a third party vendor for cell phones. They sell them and provide support. However, when it's a warranty situation you have to deal with manufacturer. In this case ******* When contacting ****** I was informed that because it was sold by 3rd party retailer it is not covered under warranty. 1 year from date of purchase all phones are under warranty according to US Cellular but they won't support you. They tell you place an insurance claim. Then you have to pay a $200 deductible to get a defective phone warranty. This is wrong in so many ways. Leading up to this it was 3 calls to us cellular at least 30 minutes per call. Then several calls to ****** to resolve what should be warranty issue. This was over a 5 day window of time. Consider these devices are necessary these days for personal stuff and life. Our lives stop because of this. My advice after talking with the phone manufacturer is to never buy a cell phone via the cell service ever. Buy the phone direct from manufacturer. Then you have warranty and professional support. US Cellular needs to be sure for false representation of warranty claims. They need a separate lawsuit for insurance fraud for warranty claims.

I would give them a minus 5 if I could. It started with a bait and switch on the new phone. Never got a credit for my old phone, and the same plan was double not including the cost of the phone. Went in, paid off the phone AND the balance due and told them I was firing them and cancelling the service (or so I thought). It took 3 days before they would unlock the phone for the new carrier, and that put me into a new billing cycle I never intended to be in. They charged me for the next month because I needed to call and cancel. Which is BS because I cancelled when I paid off the phone. They delayed unlocking the phone so I would have services rended in the new billing cycle. They are saying I technically cancelled a month later when I got the bill and complained. When I left the store that day, my balance was zero. They are still trying to collect. I am still refusing to pay.

The long and short of it, 27 days of their "high-speed" internet service cost me and my family approximately $720. I was sold an Inseego 5G router as part of a promotion with this poor excuse for internet, reassured that it would work great for my household, and was completely screwed over. I thought that the internet had been slow for weeks because I had gone way over my plan allotment, but no, I had only gone over by 9 GB on my 300 GB plan after having it for 27 days. This store is incredibly unprofessional, I was sold a promotion for a product that wasn't even in the store when it was sold to me, I was given little to no explanation on the program or the device, I was tossed over to a different associate than the one that technically processed my order according to the paperwork, and couldn't even pay my bill with the help from support until I talked to an associate in the store the day I went to return it. When I went back to the store to return the router and cancel the service, they redirected me to the customer service number who then put me on hold for an hour just to tell me that I would need to come up with $500 to buy the now useless router and cancel the service because I was 10 days past their return deadline. The operator said that they do allow returns beyond 15 days, but dissatisfaction with the service, unprofessional salesmanship, a MISSING "SIGNED" CONTRACT and a gently used router in the box isn't enough of a reason for an exempted return apparently. They also informed me that USCellular TM** is not responsible for Satellite store merchandise, so I would NEVER recommend buying any type of equipment from this "satellite" store, because apparently USCellular has no accountability for the items and no duty to accept them back once they're sold. And to think, I used this service as an attempt to save some money before the holidays. I will never use this service again and wish I could could give negative stars. What company does business like this?

US Cellular is a horrible company. They do not explain the fine print if you get out of contact. They do not tell you that you have to pay the rest of phone bill even if its the beginning of your payment cycle. They steal from you!

I switched from the horror that is Tmobile to *** prepaid, bought a $40 phone at ******** pay $40/mo no account, no verification, no questions asked, no dropped calls, no lag. I just need a phone for calls and to browse the internet. I'll never sign a contract again or pay hundreds or thousands for a phone. People who still do contracts, give all of their info to these companies, and buy expensive equipment will get screwed one way or another. Wake up lol. USC is the best , no-nonsense prepaid service. Don't go to Tmobile. They have over ****** complaints in 3 years..USC? 500+. Wake up

They falsify internet throttle speeds to get you to purchase products. I was told 2mbs throttled.. How do I go from 18-20mb/s (no throttle) to as low as 20-100kb/s (throttled). Absolutely useless home internet. When I call support for help they shut me down and say "it is what it is". However now I'm on the hook to pay their ridiculous price for this "Orbi" router! Incredibly shady tactic, I do not recommend. I get two weeks of good service and then I can't do anything for the rest of the month. Yet I'm charged full price? Absurd.

They false advertise with every promotion and get away with it continously.
