We called Tiger Plumbing to do a little plumbing in our house as we were putting in a new shower in out master bathroom. We were doing most of the work ourselves but needed some help with 3 plumbing lines. Tiger came out and quotes us $861 to do the plumbing and also told us they would install the shower (because if they did it, it would be under warranty). We agreed. The next day, they charged my credit card over $4,600 for the project. When I called them to ask why they over charged me by 5x the amount the quoted, they were automatically very aggressive and rude toward me and told me I was a liar and that was never the amount quoted and refused to explain any reasoning to why the amounts were so different and refused to work with me at all. They refuse to send me an itemized receipt, as the one they did provide has no details of where pricing come from on it. They straight up stole my money, misrepresented themselves and attacked my personal character.Business Response

Customer was made aware of pricing. We have documentation signed by her husband indicating the price and agreement to do the work.
We also called her to ask when we were in the home if she wanted us to install the doors as well which was an additional $2500 to which she declined. I'm not sure why the initial work would be cheaper than the doors themselves.
Her husband was entirely aware of the price as the technician discussed in the home.
In addition, the price she is referencing was never even put into an estimate.

On May 2, 2025 we met with a representative from TigerHeating, cooling and plumbing. We were quoted a price and promised 100% money back guarantee if we were not satisfied. May 7, 2025 I believe they put in new waterlines and a new hot water heater. The plumbers who did this did this wrong and also put my 3 year old grandsons life in danger 2 different times. I filed a complaint with management about everything and made an appointment to have the situation repaired. They tried to cancel the repair due to their issues. I fought and fought and finally got someone out here. I made it clear I was standing in front of my audio and video cameras speaking to them and I wasnt satisfied. I told them their mistake caused my grandson to burn his buttocks (not severe) and I was fed up with the incompetence and they refuse to honor the money back guarantee. Also due to their error in scheduling I had to take an extra break at work and was written up.Business Response

We completed all of the work on May 14, 2025 during our visit we left a baby gate open and now the customer is requesting full refund of $17,000.00 of all of the work we completed because of the gate being left open. We are willing to discuss an amicable solution with the customer.Initial Complaint

Tiger Plumbing was called to do some Plumbing and sewer line repairs. My sewer issues are worse now than before they completed work. The sewer line shows some separation that their tech pointed out on March 23, 2024 that has still not been repaired. Tiger Plumbing replaced some indoor Plumbing in which they removed a sewer vent and did not replace the vent. Their tech told me on 12/12/24 it is not up to code. They now claim the work is up to code but have not repaired the problems. Their techs have been out to the house repeatedly and identify a problem but they never return to fix it.Business Response

Stay far away from Tiger ****************************** Back in march we called them out for a new garbage disposal. Their employee, ***** ********, told us if we sign up for their monthly club we will save $250 off for the install of a new system. We signed up and received the $250 discount. They called us a couple months later saying we owe them $250, even though our online portal account shows $0 balance. We have explained to them that the $250 theyre claiming we owe was the discount their employee provided, and they agreed. Today we received a notice in the mail saying we have been sent to collections. Conveniently this happens after we cancelled our monthly membership with them (because they were going to charge us $10,000 more for a new AC unit than we were quoted elsewhere, which is another story in and of itself). Please just save yourself the hassle and do not call them!Business Response

Tiger plumbing sent a plumber to my house, he provided me two quotes to fix my problem. I opted for the cheapest quote and the plumber agreed because the more expensive white would damage the concrete under my toilet. The job was scheduled. A different contractor came out to do the job. He didnt do the job, he only started the process. He asked me for payment of the higher quoted amount. $802 I told him thats wrong, I told ***** I wanted the lower quoted amount. He stopped the job and left after cutting into a pipe in my closet. I called the manager, he argued with me and we decided to not proceed with the service. I had to call another plumber to take care of the job. He told me Tiger plumbing offers solutions that are not needed and over charge. He knows as he used to work there. He said they never should have cut my pipe when there is access to the pipe on the roof. He completed the job auguring through the opening in the roof for a quarter of the price tiger Plumbing wanted. Tiger plumbing caused unnecessary damage to my property, attempted to rip my off by overcharging me the quoted price and they are sending me bills and having people call me for money when they never performed the services and they are trying to pull a bait and switch with the quotes.Customer Answer

On 5/28/24 I agreed to have Tiger Plumbing fix a leaking bathroom faucet, a leak in a shower, a leak with a toilet and replace a water valve. I also agreed to have them install a Halo softener to replace my existing softener. It was explained that I would no longer need the existing softener, which requires hauling and loading salt in the basement. I paid a total of $6,324,73 for this work. The same day they completed the work I started getting rust stains in the toilets and the shower. I did not have this problem with the old system. After a couple of return visits by technicians they determined that they would need to reinstall the old system, which solved the problem. They would not remove the new Halo system. So I now have 2 systems and still have to deal with the salt. I have called several times always being promised I would get a return phone call. I still have not had a return call.Initial Complaint

We pay a monthly fee to TIGER for preventive maintenance and services always ahead of the season. We scheduled an Air Conditioning tuneup MANY months ago and the spring appointment for A/C tuneup was rescheduled from Spring to Summer 06/25/2024. Today it was again cancelled and wanting to reschedule my A/C tuneup for September which is about when we want the furnace and water heater tuneup. We pay "Club Membership" fee for expert and expedited business. As a Disabled Veteran and limited mobility senior citizens we pay this fee because we cannot do it ourselves. We have had other appointments cancelled as they prefer to work where they get paid the big bucks then fulfill a contract with a Club Member. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!Business Response

******************** had an free maintenance inspection for his Ac today June, 25 2024 from 12-4. Tiger contacted ******************** first thing this morning to let him know that Tiger would have to reschedule due to the amount of emergency calls on for today with the weather being over 100 degrees and customers that have no ac at all. Per phone conversation between Tiger and ********************, Tiger apologized and made sure to ask how his ac is doing which he replied his ac is working fine. Tiger did let him know that at any time if the ac started to act up Tiger would get ******************** on for the same day. A one month refund of $18.95 has been submitted as of June ,25 2024. As explained to the customer a full refund could not be done as Tiger has been there and performed every job asked of Tiger.

I had this company come out as I had bought a walk in bathtub and the sewer system was not strong enough to handle the new bathtub. They neglected to x-ray the entire system and tell me everything that needed to be repaired. They dug up my front and back yard and didn**;t touch underneath my house where roots are growing into the pipes, a part of a pipe is collapsed, and I feel I paid $13,000 for nothing because I have the same issue. I called them this morning for repairs and they refused to do it. They said the alternative was to blow the system out but what needs to be done is repairs. I**;m now going to have to reach out to another company to correct the issues that should have been done by this company.Business Response

Tiger Services, LLC was at the home on April 16, 2023. No options were given for under the home repairs as Tiger did not find any issues under the home. Tiger found that the sewer like was orange burg and it was collapsing on itself that needed replaced. Along with an old septic tank that Tiger filled with 4 tons of sand which the customer was not charged for. Along with a discounted rate for the work that was completed. The sewer replacement the customer requested that ******************** complete was fully completed on April 20,2023. A completion certificate was signed from the customer when work was completed. A month ago Tiger agreed to replace the water pipes leading out of our house to the street. They said that as they dug the hole would collapse and then they would continue until it was deemed too dangerous without the proper truck to **** up the dirt to prevent further collapse. Instead of using the truck in 2 days they left a huge exposed hole in my yard down all along the side of the house exposing our foundation. It was a total of 2 weeks before the job was finally complete where the foundation laid exposed and we had no running plumbing. Instead of making sure they had a truck available they would come in and wait for it to collapse and leave early after that. A month later we discovered the part of the foundation that was exposed was actually broken and we found our basement full of water and water flowing from a brick. Despite the fact that on Monday we told them we had standing water in our basement and mold growing in the wood they have only came once to take pictures and leave as the water continues to leak into the basement and ruin the foundation of the home. It took us so long to notice because our basement is unfinished and not used so we are rarely down there. Right after the job our neighbors told us that they hit their gutters with their truck completely bending it. I promptly called them and explained what happened and they said that theyd be out that week to evaluate it and get it fixed. They never came out to look at it and have just avoided fixing it completely. My neighbor also has video evidence of this happening.Business Response

Per Tiger Technician --Dug up the foundation outside and sealed it with hydro plug went inside cleaned up the mud and water before spraying everything down to kill any mold and then mopped the entire mechanical room, walk way and stairs and landing. Spoke with the customer as we was wrapping up and she seems satisfied with what we did today.
