      The date of our transaction with Tiger plumbing is January 2, 2021 for a total of $2,000 for a 50 gallon water heater. We requested it be installed in our basement where the last one was located. It happened to be located next to a sump pump, so we told them it needs to be placed on a raised surface as we do not have a system in place to assure some flooding will not occur around the base of the water heater. They did not place it on a base that was raised. They put it on the floor. We are out of town often and it flooded recently. It is now August 23rd 2022, and the Tiger repair man came yesterday explaining that our water heater is not working because it has received water in the base and it now must be completely replaced and it is not covered by warranty. My complaint is that their inability to listen to what we explained in a clear and concise manner, and follow common sense instructions caused this fatal error. They did not do their job correctly OR completely. Any good plumber would confirm rather than make an assumption about the sump pump abilities to protect the water heater. I have called the company to remind them of their error, filed a complaint, and said that we want a new water heater installed for free, and they have not returned my call. *****, the plumber who came to diagnose the issue and spoke to the project manager about the warranty, agreed that we have receive poor service in light of the circumstances. My desired resolution is the free water heater that we deserve and to be installed properly this time. Thank you.

      Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical Services was at the home of ***** ***** on January 2, 2021 and installed a water heater that included a one-year tank, parts and labor warranty. During that time a base for the water heater was not discussed nor on the invoice. A happy call was made by Tiger employee on the afternoon of January 2, 2021. During that call **** ***** expressed that he was happy with the installation. July 14, 2021 **** ***** signed up for a Tiger club membership on a recorded line and still never mentioned anything regarding a base for the water heater.  Only after the flood in his home occurred was a base ever mentioned.

      In August of 2021 we paid for tiger to come replace our main sewer line which they did no problem. As I’ve said in my review on their site, the workers were fantastic and are the only reason I gave them two stars instead of one. Everything after the sewer line has been an absolute nightmare. We were told that they would have a crew out 90 days after our project to level and seed the yard. They didn’t end up scheduling us until over 120 days after the initial project meanwhile the dirt was washing away under our concrete leaving it free floating. The yard level manager showed little to no concern about this. When the day for our appointment came their crew never arrived leaving us sitting around waiting and wasting an entire day for us. We called to see where the crew was and they informed us that they had rescheduled us to the following week due to weather but we were never notified. Mind you, the week of our appointment had been dry and sunny. I may not know a lot about yard leveling but I do know that is the ideal time and weather to do it. Finally the following week they had a sub contractor (*** *********) come out and do the yard level and repair the driveway with an epoxy coating. After just 8 months the yard has washed away under the concrete again, and the epoxy is chipping and breaking up all over and the sub contractor cannot be reached to honor his work. After reaching out to tiger to honor their warranty on the project they scheduled me for a level and concrete evaluation three separate times and have failed to show each time. Allegedly they have rescheduled me for the afternoon of the day I’m writing this complaint but of course I was never notified which has become a regular issue with Tiger. Managers are impossible to reach as they’re always “out of the office”.

      I am rejecting this response because: Tiger contacted the original subcontractor for the original driveway sealing. The very contractor we tried to contact for months, left multiple messages with, and never received a response from. Now tiger has rehired him to do the work and last week stated that he would be stopping by to asses the state of the drive way, he never showed up. After calling tiger to see what the status on this appointment was I was told they gave him my contact information and he would be reaching out to me. That was a week ago now and still nothing. Being over a year into this project I thought tiger would take more initiative in completing the job but that doesn’t seem to be the case. At this point, I’m only interested in figuring out how to proceed with the billing adjustment portion of my complaint so that I may take my money elsewhere to someone that cares about getting the job done.
