    Horrible. System doesn't work. Techs keep confirming it doesn't work. Inverters are junk. Tesla DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR JUNK. but they happily take your money. Hard pass on these thieves.

    I Absolutely cannot stand Tesla Billing system. Hurdles to pay through phone. Hurdles to pay online. 3 Month Cycle. and in those 3 months They want to charge overdue fees. This is for a lease takeover of Solar City. People steer away from Solar because of these Practices and I don't blame them. Down Right Incompetence. If **************** is not fixed by this ********************** it will be the next Quest and Singular.

    I have read most of these complaints and couldnt agree more that Tesla has the worst customer service/support that I have ever had to deal with. I had my rooftop system installed and turned on in January 2014. Before the system was 5 years old, the inverter failed. Then the system started underperforming at the 6 year **** and totally failed at 8 years and 6 months. Tesla did finally replace (all) of the panels after the system was offline for almost 7 months. To add insult to injury, my 8 year performance review was finally completed 1 year late and I was told that approximately 75% of the systems shortfall of guaranteed output had been disqualified due to soiling. I am pretty sure that the person(s) that do the performance review doesnt have any idea if my panels were dirty or not, but since the system wasnt performing, it must be my fault. In other words, its a (dishonest) way to avoid honoring the companys contractual obligations. Maybe there is a lawyer out there that sees a class action lawsuit in all of these complaints?

    Installed solar with Solar City 8 years ago. Tesla picked up our service and we remit monthly payments to Tesla. We've been very happy with our decision to have solar on our house. We live in ******** and get harsh hail storms from time to time. Recently we had to have the roof replaced, due to hail damage. Tesla service (or their subcontractor) scheduled and removed the panels pretty quickly, within **** days. We had the shingles replaced and waited the 30-days they require before we contact them for the reinstallation. Then contacted Tesla via email that the roof was done and the panels were ready to be reinstalled. Crickets! No email confirming, they received my email, no call...nothing. Email is the only way you can contact them. I dialed the phone number listed on their removal email and it states 'the number is not a working number at Tesla'. I've sent a few emails regarding the need for reinstall, with no contact back. I've had my panels stacked on my deck since mid-July 2022, 4-months. I'm worried the harsh winds we can get in the front range will blow and damage some of the panels. BTW, I still make my payments. and my higher electric bill. I understand there have been ******* shortages, but please let me know what's going on! I don't know where to go from here. Tesla, please take care of your obligation.

    Do not pay deposit at Tesla store!!! This is not a review of the Tesla panel- this is a review of their sales process. I put a $250 "fully refundable" deposit down at the Tesla store in ************************ in ********* **.This was in February, it took months for them to send me a design that I disagreed with- it was 50% offset, so I asked them to add more panels. They redesigned the system (I had one company quote me a 100% offset design at a much higher price and show me how they could do it), but with only a 60% offset. I needed to sign paperwork for them to come out for a roof analysis. The site analyst said that more panels could be installed than what was quoted on the agreement. With that I asked for another design. Tesla blew me off until September when they, in a very condescending manner, told me that the person that did actual measurements on my roof was wrong, and they would only place a 60% system on my roof. I asked to cancel and get a refund and they told me that the "agreement" that I signed revoked the refund. I would strongly advise against doing business with a Tesla store for solar panels. Very arrogant and very poor customer service.

    An absolutely terrible company to deal with. Due to a problem with their equipment, the shut down the system for two months. The still billed us (an estimated usage) for the time the system was shut off. I called customer service to ask when the system would be repaired and they didnt know. I asked about the **** and they didnt care. The customer service is one of worst Ive ever dealt with. I wish I worked with another company.
