I placed an order 5/16 for online pickup #********, the items didn't arrive in the time frame I then reached out to chat support and told them to cancel the order since it didn't arrive in the time frame, I was told the refund would be processed 5-7 business days, Here we are a month later and im still with out my refund each time I call im told my refund is being proceed or its being sent to a manager because they dont know why my refund isn't being processed, and im given the run around I dont know what to do at this point I have asked to speak to managers each time im transferred to some one who knows nothing about what's going on.Initial Complaint

I've been to quite a few Jewel Osco drug stores and they blatantly starved me for months and maybe longer. I think that cysco thing by the pharmacy take it out of you. I get played when I go in there they have no idea how hard it was to do anything but it's partially seen it's not good to take $20k cash from me.Initial Complaint

On May 10 2024 placed an order. Called customer service minutes after placing it. It was 2 items True Moo Blue Starwars Milk and a doz eggs. They out of stock on the milk so cancelled order. Reference number ******** later that day they delivered the eggs called again was told to keep them the wouldn't come get them. Called several times about this the gave me a new case number ******** Now it's just the principle of the situation. I keep getting the Bozo run around. I was shopping at jewel in the **************** location at 5/13/24 @ 19:08 pm . I was scanning my items . I placed all my items on the ledge next to the scanner . I had a small case on Pepsi mini soda . I proceeded to scan it . It was my last item to scan , I placed it in the cart . Your employee named ***** , approached me and said to me , if I didnt see you scan that , I wouldve thought you walk out without paying it , then she places a jewel sticker on my case . I proceeded to say , youre accusing me of stealing ? She said , ** doing my job So , I tell her , your job is to accuse customers of stealing! I told her , if you dont like the way I scan my items , than you scan it . I told her I was going to speak with **** in the morning. Hes the manager of this store . She says , go ahead ! I know him too and proceeded laughing at me . I took a photo of her as well , *** been a resident of *************** for 30 years . I literally shop almost everyday at this jewel and never have Ive been accused of stealing . I know several employees there and they know me . My daughters worked at this jewel as well for a few years . My sister worked several years at jewel too . I know , employees must sign a contract date of hire . On how to treat paying customers with respect I was so upset and disrespected as a continued customer for years . I took a photo of her waving her hands back and forth and laughing at me . I did call corporate office to put in a complaint and Im walking in tomorrow morning to speak with **** personally about this situation that happened to me . Im also , going to contact the better business bureau and find out if my rights as a customer were violated in any way .Initial Complaint

I placed a curbside pickup order early in the morning on 3/2 they waited all day when I kept calling to check on status to cancel it at 8:30 at night because they were prepared for the sale going on. It says I can reschedule for Monday 3/4. They charged me and took all the money I had left for my family for groceries and won't give me my order or money back for 5 days. That's not right to charge someone and not give them their order. Other managers I spoke to at other jewels said they filled all their orders for the day it's only ************** Jewel the store manager **** is very unprofessional. I have gotten hung up by most of his staff when questioning about my order and since they don't know what to tell me they just hang up. I am writing to formally address an incident that occurred on February 14th at approximately 11:30 AM, at the Jewel Osco store located at **************************************************************************. This situation not only resulted in significant inconvenience but may also implicate violations of applicable consumer protection and non-discrimination laws.Upon attempting to complete a $500 money order purchase using my mobile banking appan accepted and authenticated payment method I have successfully used at this location on 36 previous occasionsmy transaction was processed as debit, and after entering my PIN correctly, the payment was inexplicably cancelled by the attending employee, *******************************, who identified herself as the manager. Despite the digital payment being recognized and authorized by the payment terminal, ****************** insisted on a physical card, effectively refusing a legal and secure form of payment.Initial Complaint

Jewel is injecting their ground beef pub burgers with water. I made a recipe that required a pound of cooked ground beef, with the fat drained off to be added to another part of the recipe. After I drained the fat and put it in the fridge to cool, the fat separated and there was a quarter cup of water in the bowl under the drippings.This is false advertising. At the jewels located at 94th and ******* in *******, they dont restock their meat in a timely fashion. They let meat sit out until it turns gray,they refuse to sit out fresh meat until it is sold and the butcher refuses to cut fresh meat. The bacon sits out until the package looks like it has water in it.There fish stinks like it spoiled.They change the date on package goods.This jewel customer is 99 percent minority and use to be one of the best on the south sideInitial Complaint

I was riding my bicycle into the private property of Jewel-Osco. I believe Jewel-Osco failed to protect bicyclists that choose to ride on the sidewalk where the parking of a bicycle is next to the jewel-osco entrance. I was struck by a car on the private property. I felt that I was not afforded a proper police complaint because of the private property and that responsibility is owed to the business to protect pedestrians in this case in ***. The driver was not cited by the *** police thus I feel responsibility is owed to the private property of the parking lot of Jewel Osco.This private property owner failed to recognize my complaints as to fail to recognize the incident occurred on their property. I feel they had a duty to recognize the police report and contact me to resolve these issues. I feel they did not resolve my concerns and that the local jewel and corporate jewel failed to recognize my police complaint. By not recognizing my complaints that nothing has been done to safely secure the parking lot area to protect bicyclists from drivers on their private property. I felt it was necessary to recover from injuries on my own but I do feel reoccurring concerns. The health care details are confidential in-nature.I can speak to the bicycle damaged. The damage was only to the front tire. I would like Jewel-Osco to take responsibility for repairing my bicycle or allowing reimbursement. I believe without proper safety for bicyclists during winter time that vehicles can wrongfully strike a bicyclist even if the weather was normal conditions and the lighting was still day-light. I believe the private property owner can take responsibility due to their private property and if necessary recover damages from the vehicle owner who struck me. I believe I should be a properly insured customer on their private property and that Jewel-Osco failed to protect me from a consumer leaving the Jewel-Osco parking lot per the police report as a pedestrian/bicyclist on sidewalk.
