    **** was very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. He was helpful with cancelling one renewal order and creating a different one. He looked for the best deal for my new subscription. He offered advice on how to deal with the auto renewal process since I often forget when the renewal date will be. We had a pleasant side chat on his recent discovery of some ********* films and I recommended a couple. (My brother was/is a famous film historian and theorist). He invited me to get back in touch if I had further questions.He sincerely seemed happy to assist me. So nice to deal with such an upbeat and accommodating representative!

    The customer service *** I dealt with by the name of ***** was extremely helpful. She took the time to go through all my orders with me. I have a lot cause I buy them as gifts. She explained everything in great detail and was pleasure to speak with. If I could give 6 stars I would. Thanks DiscountMags.

    I've been buying magazines from Discount Magazines for many years. Dealing with **** has been so easy and delightful. Any issues that I have incurred have been dealt with in a very professional manner. **************** is great and I would never buy my magazines from any other source. Great company.

    I recently received an email from you regarding the automatic renewal of my subscription to Taste of *************.I receive several publications thru Discount Magazines, and I keep track of all the details of each magazine. (cost, number of issues, renewal and expiration dates, etc.) Please understand, I'm old and have way too much time on my hands.The renewal for Taste of ************* jumped in price from $7.80 to $16.98 per year and from 6 issues down to 4 issues per year.I decided to call your customer service number and see what, if anything, could be done.I spoke with ******* (hope I spelled it right)She was FANTASTIC!Sometimes it's hard for me to organize my thoughts to clearly convey the message I'm trying to get across, and I can tell that the person I am speaking with is getting impatient.******* was PATIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, INFORMATIVE and actually FUN to talk with.I can honestly say, I can't remember dealing with a company representative that was SOOOOOOO NICE.I hope you will recognize ******* in some way.- ALSO -I was having trouble sending this email, so I called customer service again.I spoke with **** who guided me through how to send this email. He was also VERY PATIENT and NICE!GOOD JOB!!!!

    Good as long as you want to keep subscribing FOREVER. Cancelling is next to impossible. DiscountMags makes it nearly impossible to cancel. As many suggestions as they've receive both by phone and e-mail, they've done nothing through years and years. This method of doing business is very close to a scam to keep customers from cancelling as people get so frustrated that they give up and just keep the subscription going. This should be illegal. I and now, I can see that others have instructed them to simply make a CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION button for each magazine on the website. Does it exist? No. Additionally, They need to let people know that the prices will change...A LOT!!! So when you use this supposed "DiscountLock" program, it doesn't mean anything. Your price can still change. It's a con. A big con. I hope some governmental organization does something to stop this company. CUSTOMERS: DO NOT FALL FOR THIS CON. I was a customer for years and when I finally decided to stop a magazine and realized this situation (after figuring out how to do it after a few weeks and never hearing back from DM as they were "overloaded"), I then decided to cancel ALL of my subscriptions. These con-artists don't deserve my money, nor any future money. I'm going to post this everywhere that I can, tell all of my friends and colleagues in business to ensure they never use this company.

    Very bad customer service. No efficient way to cancel subscription other than deleting your account. Also false advertising. The magazine I was interested in said it was also available on Zinio Unlimited. After I subscribe to Zinio Unlimited, guess what? The magazine is not one of the ones you can get. False Advertising/Bait and Switch. Either way, stay away.

    Dealing with customer service is now extremely difficult. They have a glitch where you can no longer update your actual credit card information into their system and no matter how hard I try to tell customer service, they just don't want to fix it and don't listen. This used to be a great company, but I am afraid they just don't care anymore about their paid users.
