      On June 9, I paid a $1,000 deposit on a Class C motorhome at Camping World ********. The ** was located in ******* and needed to be transported. We were told that once it arrived, we could decide whether to proceed, and if not, the deposit would be refunded. After a week passed with no camper or updates, my husband called and was told everyone is in a meetingno one ever called back. We didnt want to bother our salesperson, who was on vacation, but when he returned, he said the ** was still in *******, just waiting for transport and prep.On June 21, now 11 days later, I called and expressed concern that something must be wrong since it still hadnt arrived and no one was calling us. The receptionist said the sales manager would call ******* and then call me back. He never did. The next morning, my husband texted the salesperson to cancel the sale and request a refund. Only then did he respond, saying you were my next callits in. Still no one called us directly.We reiterated that we wanted the refund and were told it would go back to our credit card. On July 1, I called and spoke to *****. She said issuing the refund was just one click but only the sales manager could do it. She promised he would take care of it that day and Id get a text with the receipt. No text came. I called againwas told ***** was on the phone and would call me back. An hour later, still no call. I called again and said I would contact the Attorney General. ***** then said Ive got you and promised it would be done that night. As of July 2, we still have not received the refund or any confirmation.

      Purchased a BRAND NEW 2024 Heartland Pioneer BH261 on June 13, 2025. Upon bringing it home we immediately discovered the ** was not working. We called Camping World as soon as they opened on Monday June 16, 2025 to report the issue. The soonest service drop off appointment was not until June 20, 2025. The camper wasn't looked at until June 23, **************************************************************** the ** unit. The part can not be delivered until July 16, 2025 at least. OVER A MONTH AFTER PURCHASE. We contacted camping world on June 27th requesting some way to make this right, and again on June 30, we requested a buy back due to never being able to use the unit since purchasing it. They offered us 25-30% less than we paid for the unit. We now have a nearly $19,000 lawn ornament and Camping World will not offer any sort of compromise to fix this situation other than waiting for warranty work to be done and not being able to use the unit.

      Upon receiving notification of our complaint, Camping World was miraculously able to receive the part needed for our repair. We dropped off the unit again on June 30th, and repair was completed on July 1, 2025. This does fix my current complaint but this business could still use improvement on their customer service practices. I will stand firm to my belief that it is a reasonable expectation to have your travel trailer in full working condition immediately after purchase unless information was disclosed otherwise before purchasing. 

      With this situation I have a few scenarios that I believe could have been better for the customer:

      1. Pull the part from another unit, this AC model is used in various other travel trailers. Rather than waiting for warranty to cover the item, get the repairs done for your customer ASAP. If another customer came in interested in the unit you pulled parts from you could disclose this to them before purchasing so that they are aware the unit is waiting on parts. 

      2. Provide a replacement unit. Camping World is a large corporate business - I found the exact model within an hour distance from this location and there has to be some way we could've gotten a working replacement.

      3. Buy back the unit for what the customer paid. The buy back quote we were given was absolutely absurd you should not quote this off of looking up exactly what we paid, this should be done through your RV valuation simulator. We notified the company immediately the next business day that we were unhappy with our purchase due to the malfunction to no fault of our own.

       

      FINALLY - take responsibility for your part in this. Yes, I understand at the end of the day that this is a manufacturer problem but YOU sold us a broken unit. Stand behind the products you are selling and put your current paying customers before anyone else.

      We brought a motor home three months ago. They sold us this motor home with issues the day they we brought it. The sideview cameras was suppose to be working on this motor home and this one didn't have it when I was told it did. My biggest issues with this motor home was the generator-(suppose to use propane and gas). After signing all the paperwork and driving this motor home the salesmen advise me it only use propane. Then we notice the radio don't work. The Salesmen- (*****) told me to just make a list of everything that is wrong and they would fix everything wrong with this new Motor-Home. They have had my camper now for three-weeks now with no communication with the dealership. Finally, after three weeks of my camper just sitting there with nothing being done the parts was just now being ordered. I have contacted the service adviser-(*****)-and he also told me that the parts was in stock when I dropped the camper off three weeks ago.

      I am rejecting this response because: Everyone in your management department knows about the side view camera lie. Sales should not have told us it had side view cameras. Thats the only reason we did not buy the motorhome that actually had side view cameras from ****** ** in ****** ********. We had a down payment on theres but we pulled the deposit do to the lie we was told at Camping world about theres had the same setup it did not. I will not accept anything until we end up with side view cameras like we was told it had before we signed all paperwork for the motorhome. If we would have had a legit walk through before purchase we would not have bought that camper do to no side view cameras. My wife was very specific that it needed side view cameras so she could drive it then we were lied to about it.

      My husband and I purchased a 2025 jayco fifth wheel from camping world. We traded in a 2023 diesel for magnitude motorhome. There was a differential amount. They were to give us a check upon getting the title. They have the title. They have listed the motorhome on their site for sale, and we have not received our check differential. We expected the check the day of purchase. No one told us anything different until the very end. They claimed corporate would send us a check. Well it is almost 3 weeks and nothing. I have filed complaints with camping world, and corporate. Since they have the motor home listed for sale, I should have had my check. I think they scammed me.

      On June 2nd 2025 I picked out a camper and put a refundable deposit to hold the camper. They had to order a part for our vehicle because it needed a 5th wheel attachment, they didnt order the part until June 9th. We decided to not get the camper a few days later. ******** our sales representative said that she would give us a call back after me telling her we were no longer wanting the camper. She never gave me a call back-this was on a Friday June 13th. I called the following week regarding the refund, I could not get in touch with anyone. I continued to call the week of June 16 till today not getting answers from anyone. Today I finally get in touch with a manager who told me I was not able to get a refund due to them having to order a part. This was never stated and also handled very disgracefully. We never received any services nor signed any papers regarding a non refundable deposit.

      Had appointment with Camping World June 25 to fix signal/camera (extended warranty work) and an oil change. Service advisor, *****, called to say warranty company would not cover work. We told him we would call warranty company. ******** company said they would not cover based on info provided by mechanic. We immediately tried to call ***** numerous times and left messages but did not receive a call back. We called again today numerous times and even asked for a manager but never received a call back. Finally at 4:30 ***** called to explain RV could be picked up but after they fixed wire snow the camera doesnt work at all. ***** said he was going on leave and could ask another advisor to handle it or it would have to wait until he returned. We are frustrated and feel that customer service and communication were nonexistent and incorrect or misleading information was provided to warrant company. If the wires were connected improperly per the mechanic then why did the signal/camera work for 8 months after we purchased it. Should we pay for wires to be fixed when camera should not be a separate warranty issue. We would like camping world to work with warranty company on the wiring and camera issues AND communicate with us. I also reached out to CEO and President of corporate and am waiting for a response.

      I purchased a single and double bunk mattress from Camping Worlds website on May 26, 2025, for a total of $400. Both products were falsely advertised in their dimensions.The single mattress was listed as 74 inches in total length, but the one I received is only 71 inches.The double mattress was supposed to have a 20-inch angle cut, but it has a 29-inch angle instead.These incorrect dimensions were listed on both the product box and the website, and because of this discrepancy, the mattresses do not fit properly in my trailer. They are still brand new and have never been slept on.Immediately upon opening the packages, I contacted my local Camping World store to return them. I was told they were final sale items and that they could do nothing to help, even though the issue was with false advertising. I was referred to the online customer service team, where *** spent weeks going back and forth providing multiple photos and measurements to prove the inaccuracies.Camping World continues to deny the return, claiming that my photos are unclear or insufficient despite me clearly showing the measurements with tape measures in full view. I have spoken with multiple representatives and supervisors. I was told the issue was with the vendor, and the vendor would be contacting me directly. That never ************ Im being told that due to health and COVID policies, the mattresses cannot be returned. However, this is not an issue of buyers remorse its a case of misleading product information. If the measurements had been accurate, I would not be requesting a return.I even offered to bring the mattresses to a local store so Camping World staff could verify the measurements themselves. That offer was refused.

      My husband and I consigned our 2015 Rockwood Ultralite Travel Trailer on 4/23/2025 with the Camping World location in *********, **. The travel trailer was sold the first week of June 2025 according to the sales manager *****. Our consignment agreement clearly states that we were to receive notice of the sale and the amount we agreed to receive from the consignment (in this case $11,000) within three business days of the sale. Despite phone calls and emails to *****, the sales manager at the ********* location and ******, the national consignment manager, we have not yet received any formal notice of the sale, nor have we received our $11,000. The last communication with ***** was by phone call on June 13. ***** stated that he was emailing the corporate office in ************ to have them issue the check to us and provide us with a tracking number for the overnight delivery of the check. That is the last contact with anyone at Camping World. ***** has been very difficult to connect with by phone sometimes taking 4 days to return a phone call and has not replied to several emails about this matter.
