I sold my camper that was purchased at Camping World in ************* in September 2021. I have been calling and emailing them requesting the *** insurance refund which they are required to reimburse. They contacted me via email April 2022 stating the reimbursement would be mailed within 4-6 weeks. I have not received it and they are no longer responding to my emails.

I took my camper to Camping World in ********** **, February 4th, 2022, by appointment. I had a small list of items for repair. The main issue was with a slide out on the side of the camper starting to show some wear on the bottom not bad but was a concern to be corrected. The other items were fairly small in comparison with this. I was instructed that the floor on the slide out would need to be replaced, I agreed to the work and was advised that it would take about 3 weeks, maybe 1 month for completion. Since dropping it off communications have been horrible, they have had several employees leave the store, some off these are the ones I initially spoke with on the 4th. I filed a complaint in April to the corporate office in reference to the lack of communication, at this point I could not get any clear direction as to what was going on with the camper from Greenville. At the point corporate got involved I received a call back from Greenville ensure me that it would be repaired soon. I attempted multiple times as to what was going on even after this with no luck. Finally, near the middle of May I get a call saying the camper is ready. My wife and I took a day off work 2 days following this call to go pick it up, per their request so that it could be cleaned. The morning we leave to pick it up I get a call stating that they ripped the flooring due to them installing the repaired slide out improperly and they needed to fix this. I went a few days later to discuss the repair, they advised they would replace the flooring, but they had to wait on it being it was not in stock. I suggested that they go to Lowes and get the flooring as it was not a special covering specifically for campers. This process was delayed for weeks. I submitted another claim with corporate, they seemed surprised it was still there. It's still there today but supposedly ready now. I would like to give more info about a small compensation they are attempting to give and more details please.

CWRV Sales confirmed that all customer approved repairs are completed and ****************** was advised to come and pick it up. As a gesture of goodwill, he was issued a payment of $500 for his time out of service. To that end, we consider this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because:

As of 7/19/22 this supposed offer of $500 has not been received by me. Also, for clarification this was only offered as compensation of lost time from the point they damaged the flooring. It has no reflection of the 3.5 months of delays, sloppy communication, multiple hours on the phone attempting to resolve issues not only with the store but through corporate as well. This also does not compensate for my wife and I having a day each lost from work per your stores appointment made to pick up the unit only to find we were unable to pick it up due to the floor damage caused by Camping World. I have also made 2 other trips to the store in attempt to personally meet with the service department to figure out what was going on, 1 of these 2 days was another day of missed work.  I feel like this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever witnessed. During the 5-month 2-week process (so far). I have had horrible communications with this company. Upon filling a complaint back in April, I was issued a case worker. This person's job is to basically keep upset customers at bay to buy time for the store. They painted a nice picture of compassion, until the unit was complete then the case was passed off to someone else to strongarm you and basically say it is what it is and come get your stuff at full price. The $500 is compensation only from the point of the damage, the time prior to this should be removed in my opinion but at least heavily discounted. I have an appointment with the Service Manager and Manager this Thursday at 2pm to view the repairs and pick up the unit if satisfied. I do expect the **** to reflect my dissatisfaction with this unprofessional process.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************
