The seller lied to me, saying that the delivery and preparation for delivery of the ** were not included in the price and that therefore they had to be added to the previously agreed price. This is completely false. Those two charges are already included in the price, but I didn't know that at the time, and he took advantage of my ignorance.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Delivery and preparation of the RV cannot be added to the agreed price; those charges are already included when the dealer receives the RV from the factory.
A judge in Oregon has ruled that Camping World has overcharged customers by millions of dollars, and Camping World, reached an agreement with the state of Oregon and paid $3.5 million to return the money to the defrauded customers.
This is what I ask for, that the money I was scammed from be returned to me, $2,000, to be exact.
Sincerely,
Jorge QuintanaBusiness Response

Camping World RV Sales, LLC (“CWRV Sales”) is in receipt of the above-referenced consumer complaint (the “Complaint”) recently filed with your office. We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention.CWRV Sales confirms that we have spoken with Jorge Quintana. After reviewing the details of this purchase, we have confirmed that all fees are accurate and appropriate. Regarding the Oregon (OR) settlement referenced in the complaint, please note that this settlement was based on state-specific regulations. It applied exclusively to purchases made within the state of Oregon and within a narrowly defined date range. Therefore, it does not apply to Mr. Quintana's purchase, which was made in the state of Florida.
To this end we consider this matter closed. Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the Complaint or statements made by Jorge Quintana.

Complaint: 23504338
I am rejecting this response because:Once again, they're lying. The Oregon settlement wasn't based on "state regulations." It was based on the state Attorney's General investigation into double-billing and psychological abuse of Camping World, since 2017, see attach document.
It is true that a specific period was investigated, since they stopped defrauding customers when the investigation began, but that does not rule out the possibility that the same scams are currently being committed in other states of the country, like they did to me at this dealer.
Therefore, this situation will only be resolved when I receive back the money I was double charged.
Sincerely,
Jorge QuintanaInitial Complaint

Since the date of purchase, we have nothing but issues with the slide outs (they would not install slide roller either). We had warranty, but they claimed it was not covered under the warranty. We took it back in twice within the first 6 months after purchase and they were unable to fix the problem.Other problems include: Water leaks to the shower pan and a bad water pump, outside shower faucet disconnected and leaking, bad battery, inadequate leaf springs in rear, Oven stop top cover was broke and covered with wood, kitchen hood vent fan blade installed backwards, screen door was broken (they said they could not replace), wood frame in kitchen table seat broke away from the wall, and table kept falling down, water fill kept spilling out upon fill. Kitchen ceiling is falling down, (we were told it was wear and tear). We have tried to sell this coach, and trade it and have been told its value is only worth half of what was paid.Business Response

We purchased a water filter and paid with cash. A few hours later,, we took it back to the store for a refund (wrong filter). They would not give us cash back, even though we had paid with cash. They told us that they would mail us a check. That date of purchase and return was May 20, 2025. Our receipt is stamped store 313, Reg 2, Cashier ******, Trans. 4949 and Date/Time as 05/20/25 13:46.We have not received our refund and it's been a month. The cashier said that we should have the refund within a couple of weeks. We want our refund mailed to us **** and we'd like for their stores to put up a sign by the cash register telling customers that if they return an item paid for with cash that they'll get a check mailed to them. We would have paid with a credit card had we known that they do not refund cash purchases returned with cash. I still have both the sale and return receipt if that helps resolve this issue. May 2025 we began a process purchasing a used 2018 class A motorhome from Camping world in ************. We drove from **** Az to look at the motorhome and fully examine everything on the vehicle. We put a $500 dollar deposit down on this vehicle. I paid $3,000 camping ready fee. We scheduled an appointment for the following Friday 1 week away and were promised the work would be completed. While the week passed we had constant communication with the dealership. What we did not know was the salesman **** ****** was lying to me the entire time. The salesman informed me everything was completed and the motorhome had been fully inspected and repaired. When we traveled to ********* the next Friday. Absolutely nothing had been completed on the motorhome and then mechanic had just got the vehicle the Thursday before. Since we were at the location we decided to look at the vehicle once more with the mechanic and the General manager ***** ******. During that same inspection more issues were found and brought to attention to the General Manager. We agreed that they would give me my $500 deposit back as a sorry for his son lying. We then scheduled an appointment for the next following Friday three weeks out from the original agreement. I was promised communication through the process and that week there was none. When we arrived on the third Friday of May 2025 some minor items had been replaced and all major items were left untouched. While we completed the walkthrough of the motorhome major issues were hidden by the technician and to novice owners we were unaware. After signing the paperwork and providing payment. We were informed they did not resolve any major issues. We paid for this service and they informed us they had already lost too much money on the deal. They informed us we had already purchased it and too take it up with the extended warranty we purchased. In the travels home we had major issues with the coach due to them not fully inspecting the machine.Business Response

Purchased RV trailer on 5/16/25. We were misled on what was covered in the extended service warranties we purchased and rolled into our financing. We outreached to inquire about cancelling bother the extended service as well and the tire/wheel policies. We were provided a form via email on 5/22/25 to fill out if we wanted to cancel. We submitted the form via email on 5/22/25 requesting confirmation of receipt and that it was processed. No response on 5/22/25.6/9/25 email follow up asking again for confirmation of receipt and processing of form - no response. 6/10/25 phone call made and left message with front reception - no response. 6/12/25 phone call made to general manager, left message with front reception - no response. 6/12/25 follow up email sent - no response. Would like confirmation and date that cancellation of extended service plan was processed and sent to the finance company for adjustment of our loan. Purchased a used camper from Camping World (Longmont) under the understanding that all components were in working order. As this was purchased in late Feb of 2025 the unit was still winterized, having no running water available. In May when we pulled the camper out to set up for the summer we discovered that the water pump wiring was cut. There is a significant leak in the drain on the bathroom sink and the water line coming out of the water heater has a leak.We did purchase the unit missing caps for the motor on the awning, the dealer said they would send them to the ******** (my home town) Camping World location where I could pick them up. After 6-8 phone calls to various people at the dealership, none of whom could call me back with an update, I was able to track down the ** (*****), In late May, nearly 3 months after our purchase, he confirmed the shipment was received in the ******** dealership on April 21... nearly two months after my purchase. With the electrical components on the awning exposed to snow, rain and other elements we now have an awning that shorts out, working intermittently.I am looking for this dealership to step up and fix what has been outlined. I have been forced to go the route of the BBB as no one in the dealership will return my calls to discuss.Business Response

I purchased a 2022 Ameri-Lite 19RD camper (Stock# *******) from the ************, ** location on April 15, 2025, for a total sales price of $20,772.86. The purchase included fees for registration in the state of *******. Despite repeated follow-ups with *** at the dealership, I have received no resolution. On May 28, 2025, I also contacted ******* ****** at the corporate office (Reference #********), who assured me she would investigate the matter and follow up, but I have yet to receive a response. My temporary registration expires on June 13, and I am now unable to use the camper as it will no longer be street legal. This has forced me to cancel travel plans beginning June 16. Additionally, I discovered a charge for a Metrotech Paint Warranty on the contract that was not disclosed at the time of purchase, which appears to be in violation of 18 Pa.C.S. 4107(a)(2) regarding deceptive or fraudulent business practices.Business Response
