      Camping world of Albany of ny is horrible bought a camper last year never helped with registration once loan was signed they stop caring I would never use them again no one ever responds so Im sitting on a camper I cant legally tow anywhere it had plumbing leaks

      They sold me an RV. No defects or needed repairs were mentioned at the time of sale nor mentioned in the sales paperwork. 30 days later they called me and told me the backsplash in the kitchen needed to be installed, they had repaired a problem with the window and did not replace the backsplash after the repair and I should make an appointment to bring the camper in for service.
      obviously, they knew about this at the time of sale and never informed me of the problem at the time of sale. They knowingly and deliberately sold me the camper with this issue. This problem should have been fixed before selling or delivery of the camper.
      Buyer beware....deceptive business practices!

      I am beyond upset with our experience with Camping World. From the time we signed our loan documents the customer service ended... literally. There was no one to give us our tour of the trailer at pick up..they didn't give us plates, our sales gal disappeared. We had to try to figure out how to do everything just to leave the lot....then we found every tire on our brand new Forest River shockwave was completely garbage..they would have blown out and killed us or other people. I reached out to corporate and they gave me $500 for tires...barely worth it...but, something. The whole team there is just terrible...we took our trailer in for the 1 year warranty and dropped it off, I believe 04/09, I could be off a day.....NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!!!!!! YET I HAVE TO PAY MY MONTHLY PAYMENT TO NO BE ABLE TO USE IT!!! Forest River is trying to help us, but Camping World seems to be dodging them as well. I am just sick over this....it us too expensive to not be here and not safe if they won't fix it. Don't buy from Camping world!!!!

      I have bought several used campers, but this is the worst place. I've never dealt with so many Dishonest people . after getting the camper to home. We found several issues with it. Starting with the Awning not closing right , The freezer door hitting the ** , The black Tank was 1/3 full ,the hitch that they installed was 2 inches off So one of the arms fell off. Holes in the flooring, Door doesn't open right , The ** tank wasn't fast down so it could have fallen off. stabilizer jacks was rusted in the up position. Hole in the roof. The ** won't even return our phone calls again. So If you're looking for a bad camper, BAD Deal this is the place to go , ****** off custom ******

      We purchased a 2022 FR Wildwood 29VBUD from Camping World in *******, ** on 5/11/2024. We were told that a pre-delivery inspection is done to make sure all equipment was working properly and if any issues were found they would fix them prior to pick up. Our salesperson ************ was awesome and very knowledgeable and honest with us but no way pre-delivery inspection was done. On 5/11/2024, we signed finance paperwork, had a service tech walkthrough on how everything works and a store walkthrough with retail to purchase basic necessities to get the ** set up and operational. Once all that completed I went to the front desk and asked if our ** was ready to go and she spoke with someone on phone and then said that the ** was ready to go. We hooked up the ** and headed home. As soon as we entered I81 southbound my wife and son stated that water was leaking from underneath the ** as they were following behind. They said it stopped a little further down the road. Then they said a black plastic piece flew from under the ** and right past them. Interstate 81 was very busy and we werent in a place to pull off with traffic pushing us. We got the ** to our house and it was the battery cover on ** that flew off. The next day we moved the ** behind our house and got it leveled. During the leveling process my arm bumped into water heater vent and it burnt me. My son opened the door and turned the water heater and water pump off that was left on by the service tech who prepped ** for travel. No water was in the tanks. Once we got slide open we got access to bathroom where water was all over the floor and toilet was full of water. We then hooked up to water and had leak as there was a 6-7 crack in pipe to grey tanks. I contacted my salesperson **** who was the only one who maintained contact with me during this time. I never received a call from mgmt to resolve the issues. Mgmt needs an upgrade as they were to contact me and never did. Poor customer service. My son fixed pipe.

      3/28/24: Purchased camper from Camping Worldso I thought; funds approved 4/10/24: Picked up camper; trip ready 4/19/24: Received voicemail from finance; needed me to sign updated paperwork; GM was kind enough to offer $100 gift card 4/30/24: Finance informed me different bank would be usedanother hard inquiry on my credit 5/1/24: Contacted by finance stating everything had been finalized with the new bank 5/2/24: Contacted finance to inform them I had been contacted by the bank; was assured everything had been approved; they were waiting for funds 5/3/24: 10amhad not heard anything regarding funds; I was done with the back and forth with finance; decided to take the camper backit was not legally mine to begin with. Finance again assured me funds were being processed. I realized funding may never get approved, so I told them to shut it down; down payment was refunded and $100 gift card was to be cashed outwas told check would be available within two business days Drove offleaving my dream camper behind. I was devastatedno longer had a camper, had to cancel storage and insurance, had to return items purchased for camper, had to cancel travel plans 5/14/24: Contacted finance; had not received check as promised 5/15/24: Was told an email had been sent to office for update 5/16/24: Contacted finance requesting update on check and this is the exact response:I spoke with the General Manager and he is not willing to cut a check for $100. He gave you the gift card to use in our store and it is not redeemable for cash. I got you re-approved and showed you the banks notes that it was going to fund the day you came in and decided to back out of the deal! You could have kept the camper and you would not be out of those extra cost! It was your decision to drop it off and back away not ours.Unprofessionalism and repulsive customer service. Dreams, hopes, excitementcrushed by a company that hides behind a veil of pleasing customers while being focused only on the sale.

      I took my RV in for insurance work. Fix a storage door, minor fiberglass on the bumper, and replace a mudguard that was stolen. It took them 5 months and they let it slip they didn't even know where it was parked for the first few months. On top of that, they left it in direct 110 degree sunlight so all my dry storage food was ruined, and after they installed a mud guard that didn't even fit, they outright refused to replace it with the correct one which the insurance and myself already paid for.

      The Camping World in ************* is Great! Everyone there is so nice and helpful and go above and be on for there customers. I hate how everyone trashes ********************** as whole when there's hundreds of locations and not all are the same. Of course there's going to be some bad stores but there are plenty of good ones to like the one in *************. Always remember when reading reviews that people normally only write a review when they have something to complain about, they hardly write one when they have a good experience so I just wanted to make sure I did.

      Camping World RV Sales Disgrace - Avoid at All Costs!

      This is the absolute WORST service experience I've ever encountered. My disabled Vietnam veteran father dropped off his RV at Camping World RV Sales in Kansas City, Kansas on November 16th, 2023, for repairs. Here's what went wrong:

      Six Months of Empty Promises: We were promised repairs, some under warranty, and some out-of-pocket. After six long months, the repairs were supposedly complete.

      Communication Breakdown: Throughout the wait, communication was sporadic. Calls to check on progress often resulted in them having "no idea" about the RV's status.

      Unprofessional Service Department: Upon arrival to pick up the RV (May 13th, 2024), the service advisor couldn't explain the bill or the supposed repairs done.

      Zero Work Completed: The shocking truth? None of the agreed-upon repairs had been completed!

      Disrespectful Treatment: Getting a manager to address this issue was a struggle. Employees refused to contact the general manager or owner, and wouldn't provide any contact information for them.
      This experience is appalling! They preyed on my elderly father's trust and wasted his valuable time.

      Stay Far Away! This Camping World location is a gamble. You might get decent service, or you might get what we did - a complete nightmare. It's deeply concerning that they don't respond to negative reviews.

      We are not alone. This lack of service seems to be a recurring theme based on other reviews. Be warned!


      The problem is still unresolved and I will update my review as the situation changes.

      I purchased a NEW 22' from Camping World ************* around July 1, 23'...the 1st trip out July 4th the a/c stopped working...at 95 that cut our camping trip short...took it to CW and turned out to be a fuse that takes maybe 30 seconds to replace...well I was told I had to leave it there and come back to get it REALLY??!!!! So I had to come back the following wk end to pick it up....since then the camper has been back 5 times LITTERALLY for repairs....March 27th 24',I dropped it off this time bc the roof is leaking...10 months old and the roof is leaking...nothing has been hit it just started leaking in the kitchen...I purchased the extended warranty when I purchased the camper and when I carry it in im told that the warranty doesn't cover water leaking....WTF ???!!!! Iexplode from frustration and disappointment from the trouble I have had with this camper...the sales woman J that sold me the camper hears this and comes to see what's going on...I explain to her the situation and she sits me down and says "tell me everything that has gone wrong with the camper" so I name ALL THE PROBLEMS my wife and I have had...she then says"i got you *******,I got you" we are gonna get u into something nicer and better than what u have bc of all the problems u have had...I explained im not paying anymore down OR raising my payments...i told her that it didnt even have to be new,just one that worked bc everytime we took ours out it was back in for some kind of repair..she said she understood and give her a few days to look around and find something...the next day mr arrogant *** ,sales manager calls me and said he had talked to J and was wondering if id be willing to pay $50-$60 more a month on payments? H*** NO !!!..a few days go by with no response from J...my wife and I decided to drop in drop by and see what's going on...we speak with J and she asked exactly what we wanted...we picked one and told her used wud b fine...still nothing from them or corporate..run from CW
